Headphones on Virgin flights

We've never been charged for them with Virgin :)

They are definitely free :) You only borrow them though, at the end of the flight, the Cabin Crew collect them all back.

Just back off a Virgin flight yesterday and the headphones come in your neat little packs you get going out there and another pair in another pack when you and they are yours to keep we now have 8 pairs along with toothbrushes and eyemasks and other things.

They are free, but I didn't find them very good. They are the type that clip to your ears rather than having a band that goes over your head (if you see what I mean :) ).

We're also flying Virgin on Thursday :teeth: :teeth:

What do you get in your complimentary pack - adults and children?

3 of our party are 12, 12 and 15 and have paid full adult fare. Will they get the kids' packs, adult packs or a choice? I suspect the girls 12 and 15 will prefer the adult packs and my DS12 will still prefer the kids' one!

We've booked them all kids' meals (one veggie) as we think they will prefer pizza and chips to the adult meals. How big are the kids' meals? We're taking extras but I'd like to be prepared.

its my first Virgin flight so i don't know what to expect

i'm gettin a plane from gatwick about around 11am i think.

DS age 13 and DD age 21 were both handed kids packs on boarding.

She is only 5ft 2in bless her with a little round face - boy did she feel insulted. We still haven't stopped pulling her leg!!

Everyone also had adult packs on their seats.

I always take and use my Sony Minidisc headphones on the Virgin flights they are far far superior.:smooth:
