Headless Horseman only for first parade this year?

That's what allearsnet.com says. Is that accurate? Has anyone seen him before the second parade this year?

We watched the second parade on 10/6 and he was there he came about 15 min. before the parade started.

I also saw him before the second parade on 9/30.

So far the reports that have been coming in about MNSSHP report him being present before both parades.

Reports are that if it rains before the parade the streets are slippery so the horse cannot run on them and therefore won't make an appearance.

That happened to us last year. We decided to watch the second parade, but before the parade, it rained. No horseman for us that night. I can't wait to see him.

Just wanted to clarify that the post on Allears stating the horseman only rides the first parade was not posted by Allears it was a guest that was at the party telling their experience. Perhaps she just missed the Horseman on the second parade as he does go out about 10-15 minutes ahead of the parade. So far he has been present for all parades...

We were at party 10/2, small amount of rain, delayed first parade start, and no horseman! He did ride for the 2nd parade though!!

So you will see him if you stake out a spot like 20/30 mins before the parade starts on Main St, right?
