Heading to the Fort later today...

and arriving Friday mid-day. We are leaving after DS gets out of school Thursday. We plan to drive our motorhome about half way then stop and get some rest. We will get up bright and early Friday a.m. and complete our journey to the Fort. I am beyond excited! I have been busy gathering up all of our things and getting them loaded. Our Elf on the Shelf, Skippy, will be joining us as well! Hope I get to check back in with you all during the trip! If not, I will when we return. I do want to say thank you to everyone who has offered advice and answered my questions over the past year during our planning process - it helped me so much!

Drive safe, we are heading to the fort on Friday am. We will be camping in the meadow with DS cub scout pack. So glad the weather will be great during the day and awesome sleeping at night.

Thanks everyone! Uneventful trip so far - stopping for fuel now in Dothan. On a side note, I have been experiencing vertigo this afternoon - lets hope the meclizine works soon!
