Heading to IOA of the 26th! Have few questions....

We are going to IOA for the first time. I'm having some major technical difficulties with Universal's website.... it appears to have recently changed and the new site locks up everytime I try to click on anything..... so, I have a few questions. We will be there from opening to closing on Monday...9am-6pm. This isn't a whole lot of time and we want to be sure we ride and do everything as we can only go 1 day and only to IOA. What rides are least crowded in the morning? What are some absolutely "have to dos"? Where do you recommend eating for lunch? I looked at the FAQ thread and it was very helpful.... so I'm just looking for some personal experience tips.... Thanks!!!!

1. Get to the HULK FIRST!
2. Get to Spidey SECOND!
3. Then go at your own pace, and enjoy the rest of the park.. Sinbad's show is really good especially if you have 7 - 12 year olds.
4. Other good rides to do...- Doom's fear fall, Ripshaw falls (gonna get wet though), Jurassic Park..
5. To eat.. I recommend either comic strip cafe.. or Circus McGurkus.. both are good and not too expensive..

The only places at IoA to eat are Mythos (table service) and Thunder Falls Terrace (counter service). Those are by far the best two restaurants.

This is good advice if you plan on riding it. No express and the line gets rly long. I don't think I have ever seen it under an hr wait.

Doom is also another one that gets semi long simply because it doesn't load a whole lot.

Otherwise Hulk-Doom-Spiderman are good starts and water rides usually open around 10.

It will be me, DH, DS(17), DD(9), and my mom. I know that me, DH and DS will absolutely want to ride the rollercoasters.... my DD is looking forward to PF... but won't do rollercoasters. My thoughts are we will head to PF first and then head over to Hulk? DD can hang out with my mom for a bit. I'm looking forward to riding the Jurassic Park river ride and Doom... does anyone know if magnets are used on Doom? Thanks.

Perhaps while you do Hulk, your daughter can do Storm Force Acceletron. Does she like the TeaCups ride at MK?

Yes, she does... and the faster the better... she can do that with DH... I love all rides... but that teacup ride makes me nauseated.

I've been going to UO for a very long time and have never been on Storm Force for that exact reason. It is tucked back away beside Hulk and I think a lot of people don't even see it.
