Heading the other direction 95 N ? about tolls

Sorry this is not Disney related but I have a question about tolls. We will be traveling from VA to DE (University of DE) next week for a college tour and Jason Mraz concert. We will be on 95N and 495 then back to 95N. Mapquest has the words Portions toll in ( ). I assume that means there is a toll. Here in Richmond the tolls are 70 cents. What kind of toll are we looking at, so I will be prepared?

Just make sure you avoid the DE 95 toll booth. It is under construction and is a complete mess. You can get off at MD exit 279 which is right before the DE line and go into the Univ. of DE the back way. There are signs so you should be fine. Traffic on 95 going north was backed up before you got to the 279 exit last Saturday (that is how bad it is) but not that far south of the exit. You could map a back way from further down on 95 but since you are from out of town it may not be worth it. Good luck and hope you like Delaware!
