Hello everyone, we are the McFarlands.
Ok, we are newbies to the board, but not to Disney. Our last trip was in 2008 and we are going back on May 22-29 this year and looking forward to it more and more every day.

I have heard alot about everyone here on the board and look forward to meeting some of you in May.

We went the same time as Leanne and Joe in 2008 and we will be travelling together again this year. We had such a great time then and we are so looking forward to it again.

I am looking forward to checking out the boards more and become a part of the DIS family.

Now I have to get caught up on this post...

I'm so glad Josie is feeling better. I know that makes you feel better too.

It is so important for women to be able to take care of themselves. I have tried to teach that to Amanda. My dad died when I was young so it was just me and my Mom and we struggled. I want Amanda to be able to be totally independent if that time came.

I totally get that. Josie is looking really good this morning. Swelling is almost gone. I agree 100% everyone needs to be able to have the basic skills to take care of themselves-especially our girls.

Dana and her family have joined our Grand Gathering and they are going to the Safari Celebration with us on May 23rd!!!!!!

Hey Leanne! I'm glad to hear that Josie's mouth is on the mend. Emily gets horrible chapped lips on her "Angelina Jolie" lips, as my SIL calls them, but never anything like what Josie is experiencing. They drive Mike crazy when they are chapped and he is always picking at them. I've noticed Eva has the same problem on her "Angelina Jolie" lips too!

Congrats on finishing your classes with perfect grades! It can't be easy to take on school. family and a full time job. You are Wonder Woman!!

You are all going to have a blast this May. I can't believe how many awesome people are meeting up. Wish I were going too!!

Hi Wendy! Thanks for the well wishes for Josie. Your girls do have Angelina Jolie lips. That's a good thing. Hope they don't get too chapped. We've had a time getting things to look better over here.

I am definitely no Wonder Woman girl. I'm just trying to advance my career so that I can have more money for Disney.

We wish you were going also Wendy. If it weren't that my Mom has her heart set on a Vow Renewal on the 26th, I would totally change my dates to the week of Dec. 4.

The McFarland's have a 12 year old son which is cool because Dallas will have a boy buddy at the celebration.

Oh I know!!! I can't tell you how many times I changed things!!!! The online tool makes it even more addictive because I would check things and change things around and if I had to talk to an agent I would have looked like such a crazy person!!
