Headed to FW in April--Need Help on Wooden Campsite Marker

Hello everyone
My family and I making our 2nd trip to FW this coming April. Had to leave early last summer due to FIL sudden passing. Looking for info on the wooden FW Mickey signs I have seen around with family name on it. I have failed miserably at locating the info. Please help.

Hey Coach, are you referring to the round Musket Mickey sign? If you are, then it is usually at the top of the postings as a lot of people ask about it.

Coach, I attempted to send you and someone else the Musket Mickey sign info and got an error message that says: "You may not start a conversation with the following recipient: CoachSiebert".

I've run into this with other folks on the old board software. I THINK to fix this, you need to go to your user name up near the top right, click on the link "Contact Details", and make sure you have a check in the box for the option "Accept conversations from..." and then choose the 'Members Only' option.

Dude, if you're from Lillian, after you fix this little problem please make sure you head over to the Sweet Home Farm towards Elberta and buy a pound of locally made "pizza cheese" as my kids call it. It's right off Hwy 98 before you get to the Hwy 87 interchange with the gas station and the school. I'll be home jealous while you eat it. I think this time of year they're only open on Saturdays.

PS - once you check the box, send me a "conversation" message (back up at your user name, click the "Conversations" link, and "Start a New Conversation". 'Course I have no idea what I'm talking about with this new software but that's kinda-sorta how we did it with the old software.

5er, I'm not even sure what I'm talking about with software, half the time. I'm only comfortable with Powerpoint and Excel.

I feel like I'm in a perpetual state of confusion.

Tried and failed.

What about the PRIVACY settings when you click on your user name? Down at the bottom I have both clicked for "Start conversations with you" (members only) and "View your identities" (all visitors)

Coach, assuming it worked you need to get to 10 posts by bumping, saying "oh that's great", etc till you have 10 posts. Then put your request in the Musket Mickey Sign thread http://www.disboards.com/threads/musket-mickey-sign.3036701/ and we will try to get you going.

I just updated the setting. As for Sweet Home Farm cheese....My father and I planted the pasture those cows are eating on. We've known Doug for a long time.

That's cool, Coach. You did a good job because we love the cheese there. I often describe my trips to Gulf Shores State Park as not only a beach vacation, but an opportunity to eat my way across Baldwin County:

- fresh produce from all over but the Burris Market in Loxley (?) is a stop
- fresh seafood off the boat (not named Jenny) at Billy's Seafood in Bon Secour
- local wine from the Perdido Winery off I65 above Bay Minette
- cheese of all flavors from Sweet Home Farm in Elberta
- fresh bread baked daily at Old World Bakery in Gulf Shores just off the beach

BTW, you still need to get to 10 posts as discussed above in #11 and #14 and then put your request in the thread linked in #16 and I will get you the info.
