Headed back after 4 years! ? about Universal

I guess that we have been lucky about the crowds at IOA and US. We have thought about staying at the Universal hotels but usually just stay at our DVC for the entire trip because we just don't want the added expense of an outside hotel. We have gone during the week after Memorial Day weekend, mid June and the end of June. We have gotten to IOA early....by 8:30 AM... and usually get in line for HP Forbidden Journey with a very little wait time. But we usually don't do every attraction there because we've done most of them many times in the past. After lunch we head over to Universal Studios and have been pretty lucky about wait times. We have also been prepared to purchase their express pass but truthfully have never had to. I've never gone in March though and if that's a spring vacation week, it will probably be crowded so staying there may be very wise. Good luck and have fun!
