Head Lice question???

PLEASE DO NOT USE THE TOXIC PRODUCTS UNLESS ALL ELSE FAILS!!!

DD8 had them in kindergarten... UUGGHH!

Took about 2 weeks to finally say they were completely GONE...me unlike a lot of other parents kept her home that ENTIRE time....her stuffed animals went into trashbags that time, her bedding was washed DAILY...

I always put her hair up- EVERY DAY into a braid and she hasnt had them since-

DD6 NEVER got them, nor did DH or I

Oh geesh, you all are bringing back SORE yet still vivid NIGHTMARES!!! We just had lice back in August TWO WEEKS BEFORE SCHOOL!!!! That was NOT something I want to go through again, I am STILL head checking (JUST a precaution! )

I treated my BOTH of my DDs heads every other day for a week with RID (walmart brand, which worked better than the real stuff) and that didn't work, so we went to dog shampoo and denorex, and then after it was all said and done, I just colored everyone's hair and haven't seen a thing since. Someone told me that hair color will kill a cow, I don't know about killing a cow, but it sure works on HEAD LICE!!
