HEA train station area and Epcot Forever R&C?

I have two questions.. First I have always wanted to watch the fireworks from the steps or platform of the train station, but we always end up somewhere else. How early do people start grabbing spots before the show starts?
Second question, I have pretty much given up hope that we will get Epcot Forever fireworks dining package for Rose and Crown, I have been trying multiple times a day, every frickin’ day since our 60 days opened and no luck. we do have an 8:00pm ADR for dinner there. Will the cast members let us go out to the patio to watch when it starts or are we SOL?

MK... GUEST grab those areas at least 3-4 before show. Maybe even earlier.

EPCOT.... R%C will have no room for others on patio.

R&C patio is for those who paid the premium for package.

There is a small area in the garden next to R&C reserved for restaurant guests you could hope for space but I think you have to be done eating and paid since you exit restaurant. If the show is important I would eat earlier and find a spot.
