He said we could go back. October Anniversary trip!

I'm so glad that Eric came around! The condo looks great. Craig and I toured a timeshare condo that looks a lot like the one you are staying at. Madeline will love that pool! Hopefully no sunburns and cooler weather this time around!

Looking forward to more!

Great start! I'm glad Eric came around for the anniversary trip! It only cost us $240 total for the 3 of us to fly round trip to Disney, but we scored a great deal on Spirit Air. Last year our flights cost $560 for the 3 of us on Northwest. Anyway, I can't wait to hear about more of your plans!

If we can find a deal like this we will DEFINITELY be flying!

Wahooty, I finally have a few minutes to DIS!

Yahoooooooooo on getting to go again in October!!! That deserves my favourite dancing smiley: :dancer:

That hotel looks fabulous! I'm sooo glad it all worked out for you to enjoy your anniversary at WDW

Looking forward to more!

Thanks!

Do you think you could move your BMI ticker below your other one? It causes your posts to be past the edge of the screen.

done

Strangely, that doesn't happen on my screen :confused3 Wacky!

it was fine on mine too but I aim to please. ;)

Awesome pool; she'll go crazy for it!!

And trust me, WDW is so much nicer at 70 degrees than at 90 degrees!! :scared:

Kathy

I know. I just hope we don't have another flukey hot weather streak this time. High 70's would be great so we can still enjoy the awesome pool!

I love the pool and the resort; and it is sooooo affordable...great deal shopping...
It is so funny that you mention Hawaii...
we were suppose to go for our 20th; we had a hip replacement and Ashton instead
**both much nicer at least Ashton is...hip was very much needed --if he wanted to walk... so 2010 was suppose to be Yellowstone and 2011 Hawaii...looks like Disney is trumping one or both...

yeah we thought we'd have 2 kids by now and we'd leave them with the grandparents. Funny how life doesn't always turn out how you plan it.

Loved your last trip report, looking forward to your PTR.

Thank you!

really in Florida? I'm looking forward to staying there.

I don't have much of a plan going yet. We have 4 days and I'm planning on 2 of them being at Magic Kingdom. I was thinking of doing 2 day at DHS and then 2 day at AK but Maybe we'll do a morning at DHS and then an afternoon at Epcot. OR Split the AK day with Epcot. We'll see.

Here's the tentative schedule:

Oct 18- arrive at Marriott Harbour Lakes, go swimming
Oct 19- DHS/Epcot
Oct 20- MK
Oct 21- off day swim, mini golf, hotel touring
Oct 22- AK
Oct 23- Our anniversary- dinner at Ohana, DTD for Balloon ride
Oct 24- MK
Oct 25- leave

It is possible that we do MK and Ohana on the 23rd and do DTD on the 24th.

There is a slim possibility that we'll get tickets to MNSSHP and then just go to the park that day at 4pm giving us 2.5 days at the MK. Probably won't happen though. We're also still debating about another character meal. If we do I'm thiking either Crystal Palace, Playhouse Disney (forget the name of the restaurant) or Chef Mickey's.

The pool looks fantastic! Can't wait to hear more about your plans as they start to come together :thumbsup2

I just joined your PTR. Your countdown is AWESOME! Everyone on my thread is not required to go check yours out. ;) :thumbsup2

thanks for requiring me to go check this out.. I love it! We started a Disney A-Z book this week... I posted some pics on my pre trip report!

The pool looks GREAT! The plans sound great too. My suggestion for the character dining would be Chef Mickeys! We LOVED it there.

Yep! Craig and I went to Florida for 12 days when Christopher was two, for our 7th anniversary. He stayed home with the grandparents and we rented a convertible. Craig and I drove around the entire state of Florida on our trip. Down the Atlantic side, up the Gulf side.

Anyhow back to the time share....we went on a tour in Orlando to get free tickets to any WDW park for a day. We picked Epcot. I am pretty sure it was Marriott but I don't remember where it was in the Orlando area. The condo was decorated like the pictures you posted. Yellow, blue, red, white. It was a really nice place.

Your hotel looks amazing! It will be nice to have a bigger room with such a small child.

Hope you have a wonderful anniversary!;)

Are you thinking of the "Vine and Dine"?
good thoughts on a plan so far

yes I was thank you!

I'm at a planning stand still at the moment.

I would like to do chef mickey's. My only thing is I"m sure we can only do 1 character meal and I kind of want to do that for breakfast before park opening.

I can't wait to see that pool in person!

So I'm at a kind of mental block with planning. I'm starting to think we're going back too soon. :scared1: Well not to soon to go just too soon to get excited about planning. lol

Well, you could breakfast with Pooh & Friends at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom or with Playhouse Disney Friends (Jo Jo, Goliath, Little Einsteins) at Play & Dine at Hollywood and Vine at the Studios.
Both start breakfast ADRs at 8:05!

We've done both more than once and the food (buffet) is very good at both breakfasts :thumbsup2

My suggestion would be Crystal Palace for Breakfast, not only is the food good, the characters are wonderful, you can get an early ADR and it's one of the cheapest Character meals out there. All that said I've never done Hollywood and Vine and also don't know about the pricing there.

Thanks for changing your siggy! It just makes it easier here for me to read. I meant to say that a couple of days ago but have been involved with my daughter's graduation activities. I think it all depends on how your pixels are set up on your computer.

Thanks for the CP suggestion. We did that this last trip. We'll see what we do. We have about a month to decide. :) We haven't really talked about Disney since we booked the trip. Well Madeline talks about it daily but just to say she wants to ride Pirates and Snow White. I must hear that at least 4 times a day.

Not much to update so I thought I'd list the attractions I'm most excited to go on this time.

People Mover
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor
Hall of Presidents
Country Bears
Aladin's flying carpets
Mickey and Minnies houses

We missed all of those in May.

AK:
Lion King show
Rafiki's planet watch
character trails
dino dig

MGM:
Backlot tour
One Man's dream
animation
playhouse disney characters

Epcot:
not really planning on going here unless M is 40 inches by October ;)

IF we do I want to explore the right side of World Showcase

Next time I"ll post some baby pictures of M. :)

You should definitely do WS - that's our absolute favourite place in WDW!

Next time I"ll post some baby pictures of M. :)

Can't wait - baby pictures are so sweet! princess:

PS: My boys were digging through old pictures the other day (don't ask me way, no clue lol) and came across a picture of the morning Mickey was born. The picture is of him being weighed right after birth - I nearly forgot how big he was at birth (9lbs 6ozs) :rotfl2:

:woohoo:congrats on the 1 pound down!!! :thumbsup2

thanks I wish it was more but oh well. Maybe next week. :)

The Country Bears was my favorite when I was a kid. I can't wait for Madeline to see it. :)

9lbs 6oz is big. My MIL would be proud. I think she thought Madeline was scrawny at 7lbs 6 oz. haha

ok I hope you all are ready for picture overload. ;)
