With his shoes on DS1 is 39inch. He really wants to ride Big Thunder Mtn, Splash Mtn, and Star Tours. I feel so bad for him. LOL. I'm hoping he grows another inch the next 80days so he gets to do those.

I'm with you! DD3.5 is 38.25, so we need a little more height, but I'm thinking of installing a rack to stretch her out!

Her feet seem to be growing lately, so I'm hopeful...

Most kids do go through several growth spurts when they are that age (assuming your child is 3). It's pretty likely he will grow the inch within 80 days. :thumbsup2

Buy shoes with large soles just for disney and this sounds bad but one year we stuffed our daughters shoes with napkins to give her just a few more centimeters. Tell them to stretch and stnd real tall.

They set the limits for a reason, but you can still hope that your child grows a bit before you arrive. But if he doesn't, I've heard that they give those just under the mark kids a special pass for the next time they visit. You may want to prepare him for the possible disappointment just in case he doesn't make the mark.

Oh I know he might not be able to. He didnt ride last time so no big diff from then...LOL. He can at least ride Goofy's Barnstormer where DS2 cant (he's only 33.5in), but I thin DS2 would freak out too.

We didn't sweat the inch unitl out son was 3 and cost us the price of a ticket.

Yeah, DS got one for mission space, it's a special fast pass for next time he goes and he's big enough, it was really nice, he was thrilled about it and handled it well.

I'm in the same boat with my 3.5 yo, don't see why you have to be so tall for test track and Star Tours!!! I'm hoping he makes it, I think he has 1 or 2 inches to go before Dec, I forget what their height requirement is!

Glad to know I don't have the only short 3.5 on the block :-)

We are also hoping for a bit of growth between now and November. An inch would be awesome, but we may just squeak through with 1/2 inch.

The ride with the 40" height restriction that I don't understand is Soarin' - but I know they obviously put it in for a reason.

Good growing to you all :banana:pixiedust:
