Beautiful side of your story!! I am so glad you were "brave" enough to join the Dis and share!! Very sweet of you to try and think of the most magical way to propose!! And add the flag ceremony at the end of the day...you had one memorable day!! Oh and I know your pain on not being a morning person. My family knows to give me at least one hour. Disney does seem to change that for me though and I am ready to go!

LOL i bet you were nervous. Women dont realize how nervous we really are and think we are allhard shelled on the outside. Inside we are filled with panic. I was at least up until i calmed myself and knew i was doing what was meant to be done.
I am so happy you two are together and that you had a disney proposal as well. There is no place on earth like it and i can not wait to go back.
Oh yeah.... I totally feel ya on the women thinking we are mad at them when we really are not. I think Shrek said it best when he said "Ogars are like onions, we have layers" Well us men also have layers ladies. Peel them back and see the real man. LOL my opinion again.

So my dad has been super busy with work so he can't post his thoughts but it is time to move on with the TR!

After our very magical time at the Castle we walked out and took some pictures on the way.

We had decided his first ride should be Pirates so we started walking that way. Of course taking pictures

We stopped to check out the construction.

I really wish the restaurant was supposed to open before my wedding! I would so want my reception here!

We had to document Josh's first time in Fantasyland

Is that a smile I see?! Not really but I will take it!

We continued towards Pirates.

We stopped to grab fast passes for Peter Pan and the machine also spit out Philharmagic fast passes!

It was weird seeing the Skyway building missing. The area isn't as pretty now. It has just become some glorified stroller parking area

Finally we made it over to Frontierland. Yes we were taking the long way

I believe I also stopped to call my grandpa around this area. He gasped in shock and congratulated us both. Then Josh and I sat there for a bit as we figured out how to change our Facebook relationship statuses (It ain't official till it's on Facebook!) then continued on our way.

Now I found out that Josh loves bells At least that's what he told me when he went and took pictures of the Liberty Bell. I was bit surprised but then wrote it off as some odd Disney magic side effect and let him be.

Tons more of them but I am only including two.

We ran into a flash mob and Josh took these pictures and got some hilarious expressions on the CMs faces!

He is really getting into it.

I can't help but wonder if my dancing face is anything like that

We then crossed through to Adventureland between Country Bear Jamboree and one of the Outposts and took some pictures of the Tiki Room while we waited for my parents to catch up.

I also took a picture of Josh taking a picture because I thought it was a cute Disney moment to capture The bag he is carrying is filled with our goodies from breakfast

Finally it was time for some Pirates!!

Well after a brief stop for pictures...

I think between the Bell and this picture Josh began taking odd pictures of Disney things. I mean lights?

Finally we headed toward the queue!

So once we were on the ride and my dad's camera safely put away (Josh was using it) it was time for his first ride!!


Now I am a rule follower to a T! I hate it when people don't follow the rules so when I went to take a picture of this and discovered my flash was still on I seriously had a mini panic attack waiting to be kicked off the ride!

I envisioned the Disney police coming up from the water in wet suits and cuffing me and hauling me away! Needless to say my overactive imagination didn't come to fruition but still. I felt guilty.

I really think this guy needs to wash his feet! He has been sitting there for years with dirt all over it!

Yet again tons of the the dog scene because it is my favorite scene in any Disney ride! I can totally relate to a dog ruling over you

I was pretty pleased with my Captain Jack pictures!

Josh wants to be him for Halloween but is getting shoulder surgery next week. I told him Captain Jack doesn't have a sling and he told me Jack just got into a fight and was stabbed

Josh was indifferent to this ride. He didn't act like he really enjoyed it but he didn't seem to hate it either.

After our ride we went back out into the sunlight and took more pictures!

I wanted his next ride to be the Jungle Cruise so we headed over there.

Unfortunately the line was super long so we grabbed some fast passes!

What would Josh's second ride at Disney be?
