He broke up with her!! Points lost?

Is this for cash only? What if you made the reservation using reward points?
Laura

Reward points do go back to the account. What they are trying to do is prevent people from selling the tickets or the refund credit.

For me it would not even be a question, I would be keeping the 2 bedroom. We don't sleep on couches at home and we don't sleep on couches at our Home Away from Home.

I actually think the 2 bedroom is perfect for your party size. It is what we book when travelling as a 5

Jet blue charges a fee for canceling a flight....if I do it before my 60 day mark it will cost me about 150 if I am correct, not sure if that is 1 way or not! Haven't done anything yet......except check other room availability.... Nothing else is available.... So we will love what we have, I will still be in Disney after all!

When my daughter broke up with he BF before a trip and right after we had just made the plane reservations, we asked him to pay for the ticket, as he could use for something else. We got a check in the mail. It was a SW ticket in his name...he went to Vegas

Wow, you guys are really good paying for boyfriend/girlfriend airfares. We had a couple of boyfriends come in the past (two daughters). They paid airfare and entrance tickets. We did not charge them for accomodations or meals.

We have a two bedroom booked for Our next trip with our 3 kids and that is what we book when we go with all 3. This trip we told our daughters that they could invite their boyfriends. They are paying their own airfare and park tickets. We will be paying for all of the meals. Considering the price of dining at Disney and paying for our own family of 5 - I thought that was enough to offer to the boyfriends. We are still sticking with the a 2 bedroom for the trip with 7 of us. If they break up or don't go I won't change it.

Is this new? I've never been able to use credits from a canceled ticket to buy someone else's ticket on SWA. At least not online.

Keep in mind that the waitlist scenario will only work if you can still bank those points. So if you have a Sept, Oct UY there's no point in waitlisting.

And you should be able to reassign the park tickets right now on MDE.

It is my understanding that on Southwest, must use the credit for the original person on the ticket. JetBlue, credit goes into a "bank" and can be used for someone else. BEST OF LUCK on your changes!:goodvibes

Well.....he is giving her a second chance....:rolleyes1 We had already decided to keep the 2 bedroom and the extra space... So. Nothing changed. From the start we agreed that she would pay for air fare and park admission, but we were covering food and room, figured that was fair. At this point, it is what it is....I am not stressing anymore, will make fast passes on the 16 th and go with the flow!!!
Thanks for the support! :worship:
