And I said YES!!! 
My boyfriend (well, fiance now) asked me to marry him on Saturday. We were actually on our way out the door to go goose hunting.... standing there in our boots and camo jackets. As I started to pick up my gloves and muff, he turned me around, gave me a hug and said he loved me. He does that a lot, so it didn't surprise me. He kind of held me back and was just looking into my eyes - he does that frequently as well too, so again it didn't seem out of place, but then he asked me if I would marry him. I, of course said yes, and then he said "well then, I have something for you" and pulled out the most beautiful diamond ring ever.
He did such a good job picking it out since we never discussed a ring and what I would like.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell all my DIS friends the news. Our parents know, but we're waiting to announce it to our families on Christmas Eve. I can hardly wait. It's hard to keep a secret like this when you're just busting at the seams.
Oh, and then this morning he asked what I wanted for Christmas.... I was like "Okay, in case you forgot, you got me a ring." He said "I know, but the ring wasn't your Christmas present. It was because I love you."
Be prepared - I've got a wedding to plan, and while I've named tkyes my official personal wedding planning guide (unbeknowst to her just yet), I'm sure I'm going to have tons of questions.
