HDDR TiW discount refund-Update: solved, book via phone and they apply in advance!

I'm doing Hoop Dee Doo Revue with a large group and can make my ADR in a couple days. I will have a TiW card and we are doing the 8:30 show so the 20% discount applies. I know on the day of the show you can get the discount applied and refund the money, but is there any way to do that further in advance? It's going to be quite a lot of money refunded ($187.20), so I'd rather have it back sooner than later. I will be visiting WDW in a month, so can stop by the box office directly, but I just don't know if they will do it in advance of the actual show day.

Pretty sure you have to present your valid TiW card when you show to get your refund.

Assuming that your TiW card will still be valid in May when you go, I don't think there would be a problem doing that. But, I haven't, nor have I heard of, anyone attempting to do what you desire to do.

Just a reminder that the TIW discount is only good for 10 people. Your math looks like there are 13 people for your reservation so the extra 3 people won't receive the discount unless there are 2 TIW cardholders. We had a similar situation and had to go to the box office the day of. My advice is to go early and check in to HDDR then wait at the box office. I had to wait in line for 45 minutes (!) There were only 4 people in line but the box office is also the concierge/ticket window for all of Fort Wilderness. I had to wait behind someone who needed to buy tickets for their grandchildren (for the next day and this was the week of Christmas) and needed an explanation of MDE and the whole fastpass system.

Update - turns out if you call in to book HDDR, they can do the whole discount ahead of time! You just need to show the TiW or AP when you get there! So, MDE online issues for the win! (and yes, we will have multiple TiW people)

Also, I guess tickets are available up to 7 days in advance, not as far as my December trip, but anyways, took care of it all!
