HDDR and Whispering Canyon??

We have both of these planned for our December trip and now I am wondering if we should do both...since the menus are pretty much the same.

My DH has a VERY VERY extremely dry sense of humor..if one at all and he will not like WC at all I don't think. So, another reason to rethink it. How bad are they with the funny business in that restaurant? If you are not into it, will they leave you alone? He doesn't mind watching it, but won't be a part of it.....like making the men get up and do "I'm a Little Tea Pot". The rest of us however think it is awesome and are looking forward to it.

So, how bad is the funny business and would you bother doing them both on the same trip considering the menus are so similiar?

We dined there (Whispering Canyon) this past May and surprisingly it was kinda tame. We saw one BIG (not gigantic) glass of ice tea. They made the kids race around the restaurant and they made napkin hats sort of? Anyway it was just my FDH and myself, they pretty much left us alone. I don't know if we were just lucky but I also heard you can request an "outside" table (not really outside, just kinda outside of all the commotion) The FOOD was GREAT and the bottomless shakes were AWESOME!!
