Anyone here that has farms or stuff like that have you guys started to bail hay? We got my uncles cut and were bailing it tomorrow, im not really excited because they are thirty to fifty pounds a bail. Does anyone else here bail hay? Im also afraid of bees because my 7 year old cousin stepped in an underground one and I dont like to be stung. All I know is I should have a ton of rest tonight

We're supposed to be getting our first cut, but there is no fricking way we're getting anything off our fields atm. Poor grass management, overgrown with buttercups which has killed everything else off. So no bailing here.
I don't use the hay either as my horse as COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ;)). It means basically he's allergic to dust and has coughing fits. Hay always seems to be super dusty so we use haylage instead.
I reaaalllyyy wanna bail though.
Haha.

Yeah, my family bails hay for other people. Hay for us has really sucked for us this year. We've had a lot of droughts and that's ruined hay. Dad will be cutting another piece of property soon if it doesn't ever stop raining.
