Just back from the inaugral Hawaii trip. Sea days were windy and seas a little rough. Stays at the ports too short. Visit my website for some pictures (the photo album page). www.tuson.net
Only have pictures up to visit to Aulani. Lost camera and glasses at Aulani. Missed glasses while on 8:00 PM shuttle back to ship. Everyone on the shuttle convinced me to go back to look for them. I did and they where laying on the bed just were I left them. I did not realize the camera was gone until I was back onboard. After some talks with Guest Services, and Doug from the DVC desk onboard, the camera was found and returned to me. It arrived on 5/15/12 (lost it on 5/7/12). They shipped it UPS.
Our servers, Arnel and Eve where the best yet (11 cruises on DCL). Tablemates and others that we met onborad were great traveling friends. They included Lisa, Mark Judy, Debbie, Myron and Patricia.
We are from Delaware and while at a Palo brunch found that we were sitting next to a couple from Newark, De and they had met a couple from Smyrna, De. Small world when there are 3 couples from a very small state on the same Disney cruise.
We met one of our sons at Aulani and spent the day with him and his friend. The Aulani resort is really beautiful and the Grand Villa is out of this world. I will try to answer any questions about the trip.
