Having something sent to the room?

Hello everyone, I'll be staying at YC for one night on Dec. 9th and then WL for 6 nights. This will be my DFi's first trip and I wanted to make it extra special by maybe having something sent to the room (like chocolate covered strawberries or a small cake or something) and waiting in the room. Is this possible to do? And if so who would I contact? I'm staying in a standard room. Thanks for the help! Also, one more question, how far in advance would this have to be done?

I tried to have this done too. I really didn't get anywhere calling Disney. I think you'd actually have to call the specific hotel and ask them. I e-mailed Disney and they said "oh you have to talk to Disney blah blah" so I did and they said, "no". So I probably just got to the wrong people. Call the hotel!

I'm not sure about having something waiting in the room but someone else on the boards told me to call the resort and ask for private dining (room service) to have something arranged. I passed the info to future DH so maybe I'll have a surprise waiting for me or at least something nice delivered by room service.

Stephanie is correct. Call the YC directly and ask for the private dining department. If you want to take a look at some of the items you can order, Deb's site has a menu. Just scroll down to "Amenities".
