Lisa-Figuring we'll each have a carry-on and a regular suitcase. 8 bags, 4 people. Will we all fit?

Stiff-thanks!

cobbler-thanks!

What do the mods have that values don't? (Ie, couch, etc.) Thanks!

I think it will fit. It may be a bit tight, but it should fit.

Did you check out the pictures?

I don't have mine online, but if I ever figure it out, I'd be glad to email you the pics. :)

I havent stayed at any of those but if I were choosing between the three I would suggest either POFQ or POR over POP. Just prefer moderate over value. :)

Thanks!! My mom likes PoP Century because of the pictures she saw.

Our last stay was at Pop. 5 of us, we had 2 rooms. I haven't stayed at POFQ or POR so I can't compare. We were there 6 nights, only in the room for sleeping.

We stayed in 50's, 4th floor, overlooking the pool. No noise problem. We all enjoyed one-stop bus service. The icons, decor and pools were great for us (especially 4 yr old DS). When we did use the car, everything seemed convenient. We liked the gift shop and food court. The room will be a tight with 4 people and 8 bags. Our rooms were clean and comfortable.

Enjoy your trip.

If the choice is between POR over Pop let me add my 0.2 cents please. Pick POR over Pop you will be happy you did. The 2 rooms at Pop we had to choose from were terrible IMO. The hot water thingy in the bathtub did not work, it appeared to have either mud or dried blood on the walls and the room was not clean. It still had trash in the trash can from the previous occupant. The second room we could have had was moldy smelling and the floor looked like it had't been vacumnned in awhile. It had straw covers on the floor and also had stains all over the walls. ;)

Oh. My. Goodness. :scared1:

Maybe it was just your room...sorry to hear about your experience!

Trip Advisor is notoriously wrong! Just as an example we recently stayed at Adam's Mark in Jacksonville and it had a mediocre rating. After we got there we couldn't believe it was the same hotel we had read about on Trip Advisor. It was absolutely beautiful and service was top notch.

Having said that, we have stayed at all 3 resorts you've listed. My vote went to POR (beautiful grounds, great food court, fun with Bob Jackson, boat to DTD) with a close second being POFQ (awesome pool, quaint atmosphere, nice hot tub, boat to DTD). POP just wasn't our cup of tea. My vote for a value resort would be All Star Movies.

Whatever you decide, hope you enjoy your trip! :goodvibes

We love POFQ and if couldn't get in there we'd do POR. We haven't seen POP but did see ASSp and just didn't like the feel of the value. However, with that being said, if the only way to be at Disney was a value, I'd take any of them in a heartbeat. My advice to you, if you can afford the moderate, stay in a moderate.

Deweysgirl- I can agree with you on that!! For the most part, it's wrong. But, every experience isn't gonna be horrific or awesome like that!! Thanks!

Maxaroni-it just depends on our money situation. If it's good, you can see us at POR with Bob Jackson/POFQ with the awesome dragon slide. But if we were to take the trip right now, we'd have to do POP. Thanks!

DH and I have stayed at both POP and POFQ. Even though we only had one night at POP we had a pleasant time there. You will hear different stories from different people- each visit is unique to itself with resorts. I seriously was not excited about staying at POP, but I am a changed woman! Should the need arise that we have to stay at a value resort, we would stay here in a heartbeat! Keep in mind too, that I have heard horror stories about waiting in long lines for POP buses. The rooms seemed like it is doable with 4 people, if you are not planning on staying in the room long.

POFQ was absolutely fabulous! Quiet, romantic, full of fun! The pool was very busy during our stay. The buses do stop at POFQ first and then head to POR if there is room left on the bus. At night, there is usually a seperate bus for POFQ and POR (at least with MK). This, I was happy about. During EMH one night at MK, we waited for about 1/2 hr in line to catch the bus. This was not bad compared to the LOOOONGGGG line of people waiting for POR. Both resorts are themed beautifully! I almost forgot I was at Disney (so serene and peaceful). I love POFQ over POR because it is a smaller resort, and not as spread out as POR. Also, we walked to POR one night and ended up eating at their food court. It was a MADHOUSE! It took almost 45 mins to get food due to the fact they had run out of everything DH wanted (all I wanted was a grilled cheese and had no problem with it).

I do wish that there was more than one hot tub at POFQ. During our stay, there was a group that hogged it every night. :confused3 Oh well.

Good luck with your planning!

I stayed at POR for two nights this past week. Maybe it's just me, but I don't get it. I decided that if I can't get CBR in the future I am staying at the values. (I didn't pick this my brother did. My SIL felt the same way, she said All Stars were more fun! LOL!)

pumpkinfish-Thanks. We plan to use the room for sleeping and using the bathroom/shower.

CarolA-That's a good idea. Try a moderate, try a value, best of both worlds. Man do I wish it were like that in my house. We're gonna make this a once in a lifetime trip. We've had too many hotel changes (Poly-Cont.-POR/POFQ/POP) and THAT's the reason why I start planning early!!

If you don't need to save pennies, go with POFQ! It's our favorite. I have stayed at all 3 of them, and have stayed at POFQ 3 times. However, we really like Pop, too! It's a fun place and we are staying there again in Sept with 17 family members. POFQ is very peaceful and I like it over POR. Less spread out and that's important to us.
