I've been out of work for awhile and I turned down an interview with a large company to accept a position with a local one and now I am wondering if that was a smart thing to do. The position I accepted is closer to home (so less commute time), but it was for less $$ than what we had originally agreed on and I'm wondering if I should have kept the other interview to have something to negotiate with. Did I do the right thing by saying yes so quickly? This position does not start for another 2 weeks. Should I contact the other company and see if I could still do an interview with them? Am I normal to be having these doubts? HELP!!!!
