As the title says I probably want my cake and eat it, but it is all about disney so why not!!!!

If I book my August 2008 package now with Virgin, if at a later date the disney dining plan is announced as free can I add it to my booking?

Has anyone done this?

Many thanks

Annette x;)

I did it this year, I knew nothing about the free dining (pre DIS days!!!!) but when I got an e-mail about it I phoned up VH, I had to pay £100 to change my booking and got 14 days of free dining

Unfortunatley no :sad2:

Last year it was booking made between two dates and unlike the lucky people in the US who can amend their reservations with Disney to include the free dining plan with Virgin last year it only applied to new bookings. Although thats not to say you might get lucky with the agent you talk to at Virgin and they may let you do it for an amendment fee.

Thanks for the replies, sounds promising, but may depend on who I speak to at Virgin on the day.
