Having a ticket debate with a friend - need your input!

I got ours at the Disney Store but I don't think it came out until September - it may have been earlier. Keep checking on the WDW website under FL Residents. There's one out right now but it has to be used before sometime in June. I'm pretty sure they'll offer one for the fall, they have for the last 2 years.

Since you are all staying with this friend you might even offer to pick up the cost of her hopper as a thank-you gift. This way you put her in a position where she can't argue with you about it and takes care of the "thank-you" for accomodations at the same time.

Is selling them
Now until May 31, 2004!

3 Day Park Hopper Pass
Adults $170
Child $130
Passes have no expiration date.

Just called them for my friend who left to go to Disney last Monday, the day after Easter. They still had some.

Yep they have them! They are available until May 31st. They are 175.00 for adult and 132.00 for child. The nice lady also said if you go to their website www.centralfloridatravel.com and register, you could get a little discount. Here I go!!!

Here is the link to the disney site for the Florida 4day pass
$109 dollars...

Florida play 4 link

Also you might want to mention that the 1 day 1 park passes are not discounted and will cost your friend $54.75 per ticket total cost 109.50 so I'd try to talk her into the play for same money and if she changes her mind she can join you...

Good luck

Very helpful. BTW, it's a great idea to get her a hopper as a "thank you" gift. Now I need to figure out how to get her the Florida residents 4-day hopper, as it's such a good price! I can't buy it because I am not in Florida - I may have to rope in another Florida friend!

I just now read on the Budget Board that Ticketmania has the 3-day PH, check it out through Mousesavers. HTH

You can buy the voucher for the play 4 days pass at any Disney store in Fl (I think) if you know someone down here. Of course you'll have to wait until it's being offered for your time period. You don't have to verify Florida residency until you actually pick up the ticket at the park. If you surprise her just make sure she takes her drivers license. It makes no sense to buy her a 3 day hopper for $170.00 - she could even get a seasonal pass for $190.00!

If you do the math (you know -price of 3-day PH divided by 3 days) doesn't it come out to less than the one day admission price? I know it does with the 7-day PH, and you get the 4 options as a bonus. I can't fathom why someone would think it was a better idea to buy 3-1 day park admissions.

I found out afterwards it was because she was only planning to do 2 days in the parks, so she was going to buy 2 days entry.

I have reminded her about the play 4 days pass and she thinks it's a good idea if they come on sale again this year (for Oct). So I might get her that and the rest of us the 4-day hoppers, and have her pick them all up prepaid from the store. I will then sell days of the hoppers to my other 2 friends and keep any unused days for my next trip (since I'm the only one of our Barbados group likely to be back). Everyone should win that way.

Your should definitely convince her that for the good of the majority she should be as flexible as everyone else-i.e. 3 day PH passes. Even though it may cost a little, tiny bit more, the flexibility alone is worth a few dollars. I can almost guarantee that she will not need a whole day at AK or maybe even MGM....

I e-mailed CTT to ask whether they still had the 3-day hoppers, and here is what they said:

"To answer your question, we have carried the 3-day park hoppers in the past. To check on availability of Disney Park Hopper tickets, please call our office at 407-932-2080."

Should I read between the lines and conclude that they don't want to admit it in writing, but they do have them to sell? This is the second ticket broker who has avoided my questions via e-mail, but told me to call instead! The reason I haven't called is that I'm in Barbados and it's an expensive call.

P.S. when I e-mailed Ticketmania they flat-out said they couldn't sell them anymore - no hedging there.
