We are surprising the kids with a quick mini vacation in December and dh told me to choose 1 sit down meal for after we golf on our last day - easier said then done.
We have 9 holes of golf booked for 10am on the tuesday morning that we are leaving and want a meal that will act as a late lunch/early dinner before out 7:30pm flight. We don't care for Boma and over our many trips (last one being Aug of 2007) we've eaten in most of the Disney restaurants. Any suggestions?? And it can't be in a park as we are only using the 1 day ticket we have this time on a different day.

I really enjoy lunch at the Kona Cafe in Polynesian. I believe lunch is served until about 2:30

Grand Floridian Cafe at the GF and Olivia's at Old Key West are also good. Olivia's is open in late afternoon. Raglan Road in DTD is also good. I think their dinner service starts earlier than most (3:00?) if you're looking for a more substantial meal.

The kids might like Whispering Canyon in the Wilderness Lodge, but not sure what time they serve lunch until. Or you could try that new T Rex restaurant in Downtown Disney. I have seen others mention Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch, I've never been there.

I second the Raglan Road suggestion. Try the "Daltrey Duo" appetizer.:cloud9:
