Back to reality.......

I just read the Unofficial WDW Guide for 2008. I never read it before and it was interesting. They gave such detailed room suggestions. They said SL didn't have really good views. I didn't pay too much attention to all their details, it was just too in depth for me.

They mentioned all these things that I never heard discussed on the boards, like:

Disney is going to offer a Halloween Party in DHS this fall.

Disney Immaginears are considering moving Carousel of Progress to Epcot and make it a walk thru attraction with interactive futuristic appliances and putting an "Incredibles" themed roller coaster in Tomorrowland.

Still talk about Spain becoming another country in Epcot. I heard this one on a tour back in 2001!

There were more tidbits throughtout the book that I can't remember. I returned it to the library this morning.

Has anyone ever heard of any of these rumors. The book did not indicate that they were "rumors" really implying they were facts.

I have a question about these... how do you sanatize them? Are they dishwasher safe? Do you throw them in boiling water? I am thinking if they are not sanatized they would cause an infection?

BUT...now I started thinking....the way Pop is being slammed here....poor Kristin....she will be our guinea pig there. She's gonna show up in her Anne Taylor & J Crew cute outfits looking all stylish and expensive and all.....she will be like Eva Gabor (Lisa) on Green Acres. LOL...maybe my age is showing here. Lets see how it goes for her! Maybe we are missing out on something great?!?!? The budget boarders love the place.

I'm not sure whether you're JOKING about the dishwasher...
but you just wash the thing with soap and hot water. Yes, my friend said she read that you can boil them.
It's not as though you SHARE a Diva Cup. I don't think you'd need to worry about giving yourself an infection. It's just mentrual blood. You just wash your hands before inserting or removing the Diva Cup.

1. Mr Mike is a pharmacist and a married man.... he knows the kinds of infections and deals with the scripts for them haha

2. You can EASILY give yourself an infection. All joking aside here... total girl talk.... anything that enters that area should be sanitized. EVEN certain romantic items you might have .... they need to be disinfected in between "use".... maybe TMI but I would hate to see someone suffer with an infection so being pretty honest and blunt.
I am not saying I am against the Diva cup ...for myself YES... but if they are for you I would seriously disinfect them before reinserting them. The bacteria can grow and 1 little germ may not cause a problem but those suckers breed fast and the next thing you know your in the doc's office with a PROBLEM... a problem that can make you infertile if not taken care of.

I like to do a quick skim thru and see what's what. I am curious. All I know is I could never post over there. My grocery bill is GInormous I can't budget worth spit and I can't do meal planning or any of their stuff they're into....they'd rip0 me to shreds and my skin isn't THAT thick yet...BUT I like online shopping discount codes.

YOu guys can laugh ...but I will still share the budget board wealth with ya.

I am seriously going to have to step away from this thread...you guys are making me so homesick for our beloved GF... I keep trying to figure out a way to work in a trip, but we have so much going on. Whine, Whine, Whine...

OK......

THe deluxe rooms sleep 4 with two queens. They are LARGER about 650 sq ft compared to the approx 400 sq ft standard rooms. None of the deluxe rooms have a MK view. I saw one - the one near the lounge.....it was HUGE...it was a big roundish room with the 2 beds and then a sofa sitting area. There was a wet bar and a nice large bathroom. NICE. I'm just not ready to give up the castle view....it's a trade off.

and my dishwasher is for DISHES and dishes only.... heck my boys chore around here is to load and unload the dishwasher... could you just imagine

Yup.. and really kids don't need things like soap and TP....

i am a bit of a budget person myself.... REALLY I AM.... I try to cut corners where I can so I can buy nicer things. I do buy a lot of generic food stuff.... it saves me a bundle! There are some things I refuse to buy generic but a lot of it is the same stuff.
