yeah and last weeks show was like watching Stacey. I wonder if Disney is telling Sam what to talk about.
Those adventures by Disney are cool but they are very $$. They do have some interesting itineraries.

my friend's daughter just got back from Coasta Rica....she is in college and went there as some type of exchange program (she's a total hippie and is joining the peace corps, too:thumbsup2 )....she needed tons of shots before she went there. i don't think it's for us.:rotfl: i am so addicted to the parks...that's where i'd wanna be. dh wants to go to G Brittain for his 50th and we'd to the Disney thingy if we do, but that's 4 yrs away....hoping he changes his mind.:rotfl: Fiji!!! That's where I want to be.:goodvibes

:)

I think those people were on the concierge level one only for AKL guests. I am not sure it depends on what they called it. When I did it it was in a different car and then there was a breakfast.

I would pee my pants if I were to hang from that wire over the rainforest! I do not care how much $$$ it cost!

i found that section very misleading. Its usually groups each family does get there own guide for adventures by disney.
As for the LAW family at the AKL suite for what they paid for that plus the guide they could have gone to Africa.
I would love the Disney guide job though. I bet it rocks.

Vanessa, that is so wild about the volleyball! I honestly never knew it was a big thing anywhere except beachy areas. I personally stink at it. I am so much better at soccer so I am glad that's the thing here. :rotfl:

That Grand 1 is a treat. :wizard: Watching it made me want to do it all over again....hey, kelly?!?! If you go in July lets do it and split it!!! We can order the champagne and munchies and have some fun!!:thumbsup2 :rotfl:

I have no idea about the safari thing...didn't Sam B do that, too?

lol..i bet you're right on that Kelly....they could have done a safari trip to Africa. That was a cool suite, though. Maybe if it's your ONE super Disney trip, but if we had a suite like that, we'd be stuck in it. I couldn't see leaving it.

I need opinions please. I have searched for info on Grand 1 and have found some pics and stuff but I can't decide - my DH is coming w/ us this summer and I want to surprise him with some fun stuff - things none of us has done before. I was thinking Wishes cruise (we'll be staying Poly concierge, although i might switch to GF is there is availability b/c DH doesn't feel the need to stay anywhere else pirate: ) but should I try and get the Grand 1? A pontoon is fine but he DOES love motor yachts... Let's say it is just 4 of us (DH, DD, DNiece and me) - would there be any downside to the Grand 1? I'm not concerned about the cost in this particular case b/c it's a special thing but I am concerned about getting "seasick" (just me - not the others  ) If I had a Private Dining dinner would it have to be served in the cabin?
Any pics you could share would be SO helpful!!
Thank you.

We don't know a thing about soccer....I guess it is because our H.S. has 70 kids!! We stick to the sports that need less numbers. Our coach is just awesome and has had 14 State Championships while coaching at our little school. She grooms them from kindergarten up. It does not take much to excite us since there is not much else to do around here. We have churches, bars and volleyball (I tend to frequent all of them:rotfl: )

I am really considering the Grand 1. I would love to see photos...hint, hint!

Have a good night. I am exhausted and hope my girls are ready to snuggle up and watch a movie!:)

I would PM Chan she has done the grand 1 and could probably help you. There are pics of the grand 1 in the FAQ thread as well.

hows Jose'?

I could use a good laugh today.

Poor Kelly. :grouphug: Hope things work out.....keep us posted.

Jose is fine & dandy. He is being babysat by Jojo's American Girl dolls....turns out he's a real lady's man.:rotfl: And you know how us women like em dark and dangerous.;)

Johnsonet...i posted some pics of the NEW Grand 1 on teh GF thread about the end of NOv - I think Kelly might have moved them up to the front. I don't remember the new layout re table seating etc...the pics will show. The only thing about that is that the exhaust gets so nasty - to be sitting out in back eating might be unpleasant - I am talking about the older G1, though - maybe the new one has a better exhaust system. :confused3 We chose to dine in the cabin after the fireworks. There were 5 of us. Nobody was concerned about seasickness so I can't comment on that issue. We sat on the bow of the older Grand 1 to watch Wishes, but I don't even think you can sit on the bow of the new one....check the pics.;) I think the couple on the TC show last night was on the newer yacht from what it looked like and what I remember.

:)

channing :)

Hi, everyone! I haven't posted in a while, but I thought of all my DIS friends last night when I was flipping through stations and caught that luxury Disney show!
We are planning a Adventures trip to London/Paris next summer if they still offer that itinerary. You won't find me going to Costa Rica any time soon! :rotfl:

Hope everyone is doing well!

Hey Ladies!!

DS plays travel travel basketball. We traveled over an hour at 11 am and just got home. I washing his uniform so he's ready to go tomorrow (same schedule). I am not going, I need to DD ready for school with all the studying she has.

Anyway, a friend of mine today me something about passports at EPCOT. I never saw them and I never saw anyone with them. So, I thought to myself you were the girls to ask....So do they exist? if so where could we get them?:goodvibes

Praline - Very funny about the wood!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Sorry never heard anything about it!!
