I am watching basketball and some other stuff
Antys rash was back with a vengence this a.m. so I am really gonna have to watch it. I might have to take him back to the ER later if it doesnt get better.

Kelly, bummer...I hope he gets better. YOu need to find out what's causing that.:guilty:

Well, my family laughed at the VIP thing. ;) We have been there too many times to pay for that. :sad2: Even DS17 said we know more than they do and we'd be showing them around.:rotfl: Plus Lucy said we have our own concierge - which we do ;) (for free:goodvibes )- and when it's her day off she goes out to the parks with us and she is a Disney trivia champ.:rotfl: Literally & can tell us anything about everything:thumbsup2 . I so don't think it would be worth it to pay somebody to get fast passes and "vip" seating. I would even find it awkward.:upsidedow I don't think we would be ourselves with a stranger right there.....they wouldn't get our little private jokes etc and DS's dry humor. We just like to be loose and free.

I am lovin this weather, but don't feel like yardwork yet....usually we pay somebody for a spring clean up but we didn't set it up yet and I think we may be SOL. DH said we'd pay DS instead. We'll see.....

Just hanging out & then running around.

Have a good day.

:)

It's yucky out here today. Very cloudy and drizzling.

I wanted to go grocery shopping but the Pope is still interferring with my plans!:rotfl2: He's at Yankee Stadium today and I wanted to go to the supermarket in Yonkers. Too much traffic.

Oh well, we'll be ordering dinner this evening. :woohoo:

Kelly - as a kid I always broke in the horrible rashes, my mom took me to an allergist and they did the scratch test on me. Now I indulge in things that give me a rash but I always have benadryl lotion on hand. Occasionally I get rashes out of the blue, I am sure that its probably seasonal, I just don't want to get those scratch tests again!

Good luck, I hope he finds some relief!! Cool Oatmeal baths work well, and benadryl lotion. I hate benedryl pills they put me into a deep sleep!!

Ryan has been having a rash from allerigies too.
What have you tried? The ER isn't going to do anything for him unless he also has a fever. The most they will do is give him a shot of benedryl.

EDIT TO ADD

I thought about the VIP tour and you guys are probably right.... I don't want a sitter and I don't want the guide to take away from the mother daughter bonding time... I was hoping it would add to our fun .... so I wouldn't have to fight crowds and stuff and just have fun with her.
Having a stranger following our every move might be a little strange  I guess I couldn't be myself and act silly with Savannah.

Kelly - you'll never believe this, I am covered in rash down my entire left side. I am slathering on the benedryl lotion and its helping.:confused3

Hey GF Gals, what a beautiful day here in Chicago...dont you agree Channing and Kristen and Vanessa???? I sat outside and got some sun while DH was working on the backyard...I was supervisor :rolleyes1 I did get some color today :goodvibes I only planted pansys~mothers day weekend is my guide on when to get my flowers going

Kelly hope you get the rash under control before you leave! 2 days..lucky duck!! Have fun :goodvibes

Hi, Dawn! OMG....that is such a drag about the no low air anymore....I looked at the SWA Ding 15% discount for October and it was still about 50% more than I used to pay - and actually it was TWICE as much as I've paid in the July for rt for our family. Bummer....I am not sure that we'll be going in October anyway since DS will be a senior and I'd have to pull him out to miss 4 days.... I dno't think that would be a good thing for him and esp since he is sick of WDW and sick of vacations with us.:rotfl: All around bad idea maybe.:rolleyes1 I guess I can safely take down my mother's day ticker....I was hoping for the cheapy great discount Ding. No biggie. I know a vacation right now would mess with my diet motivation...and I HAVE IT BIG TIME:thumbsup2 ....I am doing well and promising myself a July 4th WDW trip as a reward for getting down to my 40th bday weight. I ran the idea by DH and he didn't holler and freak out so it's a go as far as I'm concerned. :rotfl2: I'm there.:goodvibes

I get the NW Herald, so I didn't see that Trib article, but I believe it....the gas prices are just incredible. :guilty:

Well, it looks like DS is taking on the spring cleanup!:thumbsup2 YAY!! He needs the cash and we are lazy & tired.:rotfl: It's a great match. The weather was beautiful today....I walked and it was HOT. I hope this means spring is here. It feels so nice to have the windows open and the cool evening air coming in. :cloud9:

Talk to ya all later!

Channing

Yes- the weather was just great here today! It was cloudy all morning and I walked (tried to run but about died:headache: ) The sun finally came out around noon. It was just beautiful. We just built our house last summer/fall and we have a yard full of mud so it was a hectic day trying to keep the kids out of the house with mud on their little hands and feet. My husband kept getting frustrated but I kept reminding him that this is why we moved to the country...so the kids could enjoy the great outdoors. Well they did!!

I am hoping it stays dry and warm. We farm so this is important!! (especially if I want to go on a spendy vacation in Dec!)

Hope everyone has a good night. My lil angels are already sleeping so back to watching Desperate Housewives and finally the return of Brothers and Sisters.

By the way....it stinks about the airfare. I guess I will keep watching. Right now my rates are around $540 RT. YUCK!

WooHoo for DS taking on the spring cleanup!!! LOL EVeryone benefits :thumbsup2
I hear ya about taking kids out of HS...we are taking out our boys 2 days who will be fresh and jr next year when we go in Nov...it gets harder and harder for them to catch up though.
DD (25) made a smart comment about us going again in Nov...she doesnt have to go..(actually she wasnt really included~not being mean but I dont think she could have taken off from her job). If she wants us to go somewhere else she can pay ;)

My relatives farm out by Princeton and they also are hoping for good weather!! I am just sick of grey cloudy rainy days :headache:

Good morning!!

The weather here today is yucky... cold, damp and dark!! My rash was alittle out of control last night, it traveled to all different spots. When I thought it was gone it showed up somewhere else, but today I seem fine, just alittle tired from not sleeping through the night!!!

I love Brothers and Sisters and I like Desperate Housewives. Big Brother got pushed to 11:30 due to the Pope leaving!! So we recorded that for tonight!!

I am going to call Disney Merchandising today for those Epcot passports so I can get them for my friends DD. She uses carbon paper when she takes notes so Natalie can have a copy, at the end of the year and the holidays we always get her little gifts. They are going to the GF in June, so this year for her year end gift Natalie wants to make her gift Disney themed. I thought the passport, Lanyard/pin starter kit, beach towel & beach bag. She should be ready to go!!:goodvibes

Hi, Annette.....our weather is LOVELY here today...mid 70s and sunny.:goodvibes Hopefully it will be headed your way.

Lucy did the Epcot passport last May and she enjoyed that. While Jojo did her mask thing (I am SO over the masks, lol.....they need to think of something else!) Lucy got her passport stamped. When it's all complete, you take it to guest services or some shops (we took it to the International Gateway shop) and you get a little mini cute poster as a "prize".

That is sweet you're buying the Disney gifty stuff for Natalie's friend. I lvoe that she's so helpful and kind about the notes. :goodvibes That's neat she'll be going to WDW!!!! I actually had a super PISSY vice principal tell me (now this was regarding DS's ADHD - and he cannot take notes well at all) that it would be "Violating the other student's CIVIL RIGHTS" to ask them to take these notes or anything like that! :headache: Can you believe it?!?!? She was a real PILL. Luckily she's gone.

OK,,,,where's my Rock of Love girl? Kristin, did you watch last night??!? OMG>..those girls are just plain NASTY (esp HEATHER = what a witch OH and who can leave out that dirty French one!? DH and I both thought she/he was a transvestite.....she was DIRTY). I felt so sad about Destiny's dad. That was heartbreaking and I was touched that Bret cried.:guilty: It looks like maybe he and Ambre are good together. She looked really different last night though!

Hi, to everybody - have a great Monday!:flower3:

Channing

Happy Monday, ladies! :surfweb:

We went to Epcot on Saturday and had a great time! It was really crowded! We got in the park about 10:30 and headed over to get a Soaring FP and they were already at a return time of 8-9 pm! We had a great time a did a lot of things we have never done with the kids before! We did, Donald's boat ride in Mexico, Norway's boat ride, Living with the Land, Circle of life movie! We also did Nemo, Turtle talk, and Test Track! The crowds were higher than normal but we still manged to walk right on everything except Test Track but we had FP.

Our kids loved the F&G festival! They had the butterfly garden and a fun place for the kids climb and have fun! We had fun looking at all the different little flower "exhibits". We left at 4:30 and there was a long line for Space ship earth so we didn't get to do that, we ALWAYS do that ride, I just don't do lines with 4 kids. I have never seen a long line for that ride!

It so funny there has been talk about the passports and Kidcot stops. We have never done them before but we did the stops in Norway, Mexico, and China on Saturday. Also the stops in the Land and the Seas. We had Eight masks to drag around the park! :headache: Anyway, I think someone was asking about he passports, we did not get them but we did see some kids get them stamped and the people will write on them in the language and write the date! We are going to do them soon! We have studied China, France, and Germany in some of our units and we are going to make it part of the end of the year review. :thumbsup2 By the way, has anyone noticed how gorgeous the people in Norway are? I want to be from Norway!

Oh yea I forgot something! WE are having our spring parade of homes in our county and my sister and i toured one on Sunday that caught our attention, The Grande Floridian! We were like "WHAT?", we had to go see it since it's named after our "Disney home"! It was nice but a monster house, 14,000 sq ft! This place had indoor basket ball gym, a bowling ally, and also has a swim spa out side the master suite. This house is only 10 min from my house and was built on reclaimed phosphate land :scared: and can be yours for only 2.5 million $$$$! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I'll save my dough and stay at the real deal!:thumbsup2

We did the passports thing in Epcot a couple of years ago. My youngest turned 3 that week, so we had everyone write Happy Birthday in their native languages. We'll have to think of a different message to write this time around. Since we're going in August, maybe we'll have everyone write "It's too @#$%^ hot" in their native languages. ;)

Here's the CM in France writing in Alexandra's passport while she's working on her mask ...
