Thanks Myra. I have a lot of Jose pics. He has been around the "world". I will post our most recent ones tomorrow. This time it was a WS trip with him. He is going to be the subject of a scrapbook.

Sorry you didn't make it to WDW over the weekend. You're probably better off waiting for the spring breakers to thin out anyway. I wish I lived near enough to pick up and go get my Disney fix.

I have never watched that John & Kate show. I think it would stress me out just watching. I'd probably have a panic attack. I have 3 kids but they are so well spaced out they were all like only kids.

Channing, when did that new vacation ticker appear? I can't see how many days you have til another trip...

it just disappeared, haha!!!! I had Ticker Factory but then saw an adorable Mickeypath one somebody had so I tried to make that and then their site went down soon after it was in my siggie! Is that a sign?

I booked the "bounceback offer" - it wasn't in our room at Thanksgiving, but it was there this time so I booked an October trip. HOPEFULLY the parks won't be crowded and will be our first uncrowded off peak trip in several yrs. DS will be 18+ so not sure if I can leave him home (probably not) or drag him with and he'd miss 4 days school.....i checked his calendar and he has a 4 day wk that wk I booked. Either way, I am kind of counting on it since I got what I wanted with the 30% discount.

So....anybody ready for more pics? I have more.....

ETA: the mickeypath tickers keep coing and going which is why I stuck with tickerfactory...

Are you going around Columbus day?? It won't be empty, but nothing at all like you just experienced on the last trip!!

Hey GRANNIEMINNIE!!! HOw'd you get that monorail in there???? I didn't see that as an option!!! I need to go back and look....all I had were Belle, Minnie, and something weird...... I LOVE your ticker!

OMG...that darn thing just left me again......OK now I am on their website and it's having issues, but I see many more options than I previously had - so they must be having difficulties this morning.....ooohh...just saw they added the CR as a "Banner"....maybe they'll add the GF!!!

Do you have the info on the bounceback dates?... sounds like they have released later dates as I thought the last group ended in September- I am curious if my December dates are part of it....

Me, too, Kristin! I still have the flier I swiped from my room in December, but it only went through late September. I'm all ears, Channing!

BTW, Channing - really enjoyed your pics. It was neat seeing what all the GF does for Easter (although don't know that I could ever stand the crowds to go at that time of year). Some of your crowd tales sounded .

I tried several Sept dates but they didn't have what I wanted.....then I heard there is free dining during Sept, so that's probably why and it would be crowded anyway. Hoping we have luck with low crowds during that time in October. I know the Gartner Symposium is there but I htink it's the week prior kind of nearer Columbus Day......And that Gold tournie, but hopefully that's it.

We're going a little later in December this year, since Thanksgiving is so late, so it might only cover 2 of my nights at the AKL CL, but I'll take what I can get. After going the past few years pretty much right after Thanksgiving, it's almost a bit easier for us to go more mid-December so I have time to do all of the necessary Christmas stuff prior to our trip. Last year, I didn't get my tree up until 12/20!

Of course, this also gives me something to ponder re: a post-cruise stay in Sept.

Where'd ya hear that?? What store?? I didn't see it.....it must be super new. You can get it from Merchandising right???!!! It sounds cute!

How cool....I did see an Alice tea set at a store in the England pavillion in Epcot....I was with my two "bulls" so I didn't want to risk getting near ANYTHING of value so I have no idea what it really looks like or costs, but it looked (from a distance) adorablely precious.....probably super expensive.



Gotta run and go to the dentist....I hve a filling to get done.

Hi Lives4Disney!

I've been lurking on this thread because you ladies have so much good info on the GF (plus it's pretty entertaining to boot!). Your pictures of Jose have finally dragged me out! The pictures and especially the commentary cracked me up! I'm at work and laughing out loud. I really needed a laugh today so thanks!

You guys are such a bad influence! Hitting the big 4-0 has me running scared and I've been toying with the idea of getting BM makeup. I'm so NOT a makeup person but this seems to be a good time to start.
