Me, a wench??? pirate: You know it baby!!!!

I truly didn't mean to scare any of you about flying. I can't imagine a flight getting any worse than that one and we survived A-OK. Theose pilots are OUTSTANDING at their jobs! :thumbsup2 I actually get the chuckles now when we hit normal turbulance and DH gts worried.

I was NOT a good girl today!! We went to the Commons to check out the Gymboree sale (Spent another $50 :rolleyes1 What on earth am I going to do with all these stinking Gymbucks???) Then DS wanted Cheeseburgers in Paradise for lunch. So of course we went, and I got those mini cheeseburgers that I love!!! I guess that means salad for dinner tonight!!! :rotfl:

I really need to go clean now... have a houseful coming on Saturday for St. Pat's and I need to do my baking tomorrow. I did do my floors this AM before we left, so that's a start...

See ya!
Kristin

I was wondering about where the heck that thread went.:rotfl: :rotfl: I was going to bump it up but figured I'd get "yelled" at by some mod.

Jojo is gonna have to get over it. :headache: LOVE Dinsey or else.:rotfl: The bad thing is, I know she means it. :guilty: She DID choose to stay home last May. My mom came from AZ to stay with her.:rolleyes1 I could live there....it's my happy place. :goodvibes (well, we'll see after this Easter trip ;) )

I contacted Linda at the GF regarding ordering that cute topiary cake. She wasn't sure if they could do it....I emailed her the pic. I thought they could do anything.:confused3

Tinklvr - I had my gallbladder removed in 1990....exactly two weeks after my son was born I had a major attack and had emergency surgery. It seems I was having little gallbladder attacks during my pregnancy, but I didn't really know what they were so didn't complain.:rolleyes1 I was having symptoms of it for a couple yrs prior, too, but nobody could figure out what my exact trouble was. I have a horrid stomach and all kinds of issues and take prescription strenght Zantac probably forever. It does help some symptoms usually. But there is nothing like taht gallbladder pain. I hope you feel better!:wizard:

I still like SWA. THey are still probably the safest airline & they have the best customer service. :thumbsup2 I just thought it was nasty timing that all this came out when I am kind of a nervous Nelly about flying sometimes....I get in moods where I am fine, no big deal - and sometimes I am just so not into it and get kind of panicky.

Praline
- I am wearing my 'stones" today! I love them...they are natural, but better. QUicky question....where do you swirl and tap?

Talk to ya later -
Channing :)

Oh NO!!! Vonnie connected me to the cake crew and then I told them what i wanted and they put me to her. Still waiting for a call back.......I am scared.:rotfl: She wasn't super Disneyish.

Edited to add....just checked my emails & she replied....that cake I want in the smallest they can do, 10 inches = $250. No thanks. Cute, but not THAT cute.

Hope you're feeling better, Kelly.

I had my gallbladder out 1 yr ago this month...About 1 1/2 yrs ago I was having this horrible pain in my right shoulder blade, sometimes making my arm numb. The Nov we went to Dis the first day I ate a cheeseburger at Beaches and Cream and that eve in AK I had to rest on the bench while everyone was going on Expedition 'cause I thought I was having a heart attack. Well, for the next 3 months this went on til they figured out it was my gallbladder..with enough stones to pave a sidewalk. Now that I have it out I have stomach issues!!! If its not one thing its another :confused3 Its h*ll getting old :upsidedow

I had horrible stomach issues after the gb came out and tried all the "new" meds, but a very high dose of prescription Zantac (actually prescribed for GERD I have due to a weird other problem) made a ton of difference to me. Now it's OTC so I just buy it at Costco- their generic. Before the Zantac, I had to know where every bathroom was everywhere. :scared1:

Hope you're feeling better.

That's horrible!! My dad his gall bladder out back in the 80's and then was diagnosed with diverticulitis (sp??) He finally had 9 inches of his colon removed back in 2000 where most of the "pockets" were concentrated. He wished he had it done 10 years prior!!

New Lost tonight! :woohoo:

Ugh....that sounds nasty. I know somebody with diverticulitis. It can be awful.

I wish I would have started watching Lost when it first came out. It looked really cool, but something got scheduled during that time and then I missed that boat.

Enjoy!:)

OH! PS - Kristin, I have been meaning to ask you, did you catch Rock of Love last Sunday night?....I forgot Sunday night has all my trashy shows on :goodvibes and tried to watch Rock of Love2 LATE (like midnight) but it was a repeat of a show that was on a few wks ago....did I miss a new one or wasn't there a new one last Sunday? I did see Adrian (My Fair Brady) throw her pills into the Pacific Ocean. OMG...I feel sorry for any kid they might have.:rolleyes1

250? OUCH :scared1:

Linda is not on my good list from our last visit :rotfl: :rotfl:

I am actually going with Peggy for Savannah's Bday cake. I didn't feel like trusting Linda :rotfl:

Not sure where to swirl in tap... I just do it over the container nice and careful like :rotfl: those quads are super great for traveling!!!!

I got a new camera and was practicing with it. I was using my pups as subjects as they dont move a whole lot and dont care if I make them stay still:lmao:
The lab and corgi are ancient and the pup..well he is 2 .. his REAL name is Serious (kids named him after Harry Potter book...) but you try hollaring ..HEY SERIOUS out in your backyard :lmao: I call him pup and he thinks thats his name ... anyway I was playing with the portrait zoom options and here are a few I took.

This is China, my 10 year old lab in her favorite location in the house... the family room couch!!! I actually have to keep couch covers on them because of her :rotfl: of course she has a nice comfy bed but will she every use it?! NOOO :rolleyes1

This is Pepper, my 11 year old Welsh Corgi. She will sleep anywhere and has eating issues (IE she is fat as heck and steals and binges food so I can't get her weight down:rotfl: )
165122pepper-med.JPG

And here is our famous Katrina pup... there were many pups after Katrina because of all the strays and fences being down... I felt bad for all of those little pups so I adopted one even though we had 2 very old girls. The girls TOLERATE him to a degree :rotfl:
165122ser2-med.JPG

165122serious1-med.JPG

See what I mean... I sure didn't have to run and do any chasing to get them to stand still :lmao:
At least they were LIVE (barely) subjects :rotfl:

now off to watch the DVD on how to take better pictures cause I sure need it

I had a horrendous gallbladder attack while I was pregnant. It was the worst pain I've ever experienced, including childbirth!
After months and months of tests( which had to wait till after I had DD) the docs said it was a one time thing, didn't have to have my gallbladder out and put me on Prilosec. I took it for a year or two and didn't have any more problems so I went off the Prilosec and haven't had any more trouble!:confused3 Thank goodness - that gallbladder pain is unbelievably bad and I was paranoid about having another attack!:scared1: So, Lives4Disney and tinklvr - I feel your pain - literally!

When anyone heard about my gallbladder issues this was their response:
3F's Female, Forty and Fat. Oh thats nice :lmao:

I agree with Lives...I know every bathroom in the area! ::yes::

And that's not a pain you want to feel - EVER!!!!!:scared1: :scared:

It is fairly common to have GB problems during pregnancy. :guilty: My huge attack came 2 wks after having a 10 lb baby & the GB pain was worse than delivering a huge baby. I tried Prilosec and unfortunately I slept thru the whole summer I was on it. It made me SO drowsy and also so crampy:scared: ....I can't take anything like that or Nexium or Acifex (spelled wrong I'm sure)....I am super susceptible to side effects.:guilty:

Praline, cute pups!!! I love dogs.:thumbsup2 Lucy just got some Puppy in my Pocket sets to take on teh plane and my favorite is the little Corrie the Corgi she got. :goodvibes I have a new camera, too....I am bringing the guide book, haha...I think I know what I am doing, but.......

:)

Have you tried Zantac??? It worked MIRACLES for me.:wizard: Honestly. I used to have to pull over at gas stations, fast food places etc.... AWFUL. It cramped my style...:rotfl: I take 300 mg morning and 300 mg at night. (four of the regular or 2 of the extra strenth) The only side effect the gastro Dr. said I might have would be a headache and I never did. It made such a difference in my life.

OK buying some tomorrow...why does this happen when you get your gallbladder out?? Anyone know? :confused3

Praline~your Katrina pup is sweet. We adopted our collie (he looks just like Lassie) from a humane society. He has lots of problems, but a better life. :goodvibes

It's been a while - I've been on the Zantac for a few yrs. It has to do with stomach acid and bile - I think the Dr. told me. It isn't processed and absorbed the same or something like that. Just try it for a few days and see if it makes a difference. It really was a miracle for me. Do you see a gastro yearly?? I really should go back for a check up....mine is in Arlington Hts NWG. I haven't been in a while & now that I buy it OTC I have blown off the yearly visits as they were just for prescription refills mostly.

:)

What kind of camera did you get?
I have a cannon power shot that DH from work... they gave him a gift hahaha and I took it! hahaha
Its 12meg and my other one is 7meg. I got a book, digital photography forr dummies (the 8-1 book) and its sooo chalk full of info my brain is going to explode...throw in the DVD and I can tell you what ISO you should use for what lighting but I couldn't tell you what ISO means :rotfl2:

The book is great as it explains everything I can do with the photo editing programs I have... WOW I never knew I could delete people and things out of a pic and it not look fake!!!!
I am having a blast... oh and I also got the full version of Corel paint shop pro photo and they have the COOLEST feature EVER... a 1 click button that deletes wrinkles, blemishes and crap from your face!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO
Its like having bare M for photos :thumbsup2
Here are the examples I can show you... granted I just started playing with it tonight so I am NOT that good... but once I figure out the blending and all I should look 10 years younger within the week :rotfl:

Before

After the anti wrinkle program:
165122after-med.jpg

more examples of this feature... i am so in love with this feature :rotfl: i am going to go back to every single pic ever taken of me and use this feature on it and delete the originals hahahahah

Before...all wrinkled and icky looking
165122disbefo-med.JPG

After... that kid next to me looks like my kid brother NOT my son :lmao: :lmao:

Hey Praline...your pics look great.:goodvibes The skin on your shoulder in the pic of you and your DH looks like satin. But you don't look that bad in the first pics, either!!!!!! :flower3:

I have NO interest in messing with anything like that.....I am completely uncomputer. No interest, no desire, no nothing. :rotfl2: I email, I Ebay, I DIS and I shop.:rotfl: I hand the camera over to DH and he does it for me.:thumbsup2 That's great you enjoy it, though. I just don't. :upsidedow

My camera is a Fuji Finepix S5800 or something.....It takes awesome pics & it's got a great menu with lots of stuff but extremely user friendly. That's what I like about it.:thumbsup2 I haven't even used it except to futz around with. The pics I took of the Ebay stuff I took with my old pocket digital. I am going to have to get used to not sticking this new one in my pocket.....that may be a problem for me because I like less stuff to drag around.....I know Kelly thinks I carry a lot:rotfl: but that means every little inch and ounce counts.:rotfl2:

You know....I am still waiting for my Pirate Minnie outfit for Jojo. The lady said she'd mail it MOnday but then she said she'd mail it Wednesday......I hope I get it today. How much stuff have you ordered for Savannah?? I have these huge piles of cute new clothes to bring with. It's gonna be some ugly schlepping.:rotfl2: I can never decide and cut back. :rolleyes1

:goodvibes
