You know it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think one of those VS nighties had to come out of storage on THAT particular evening :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I find that the best way to get DH not to care about shoes is to show up at bedtime wearing nothing but the shoes.... works everytime :cool2: (if only this theory worked for purses :rotfl2: )

Channing I forgot to post this... but you know how you were saying you were looking for cute HM accessories? Walmart did have some adorable pink bling bling HM earrings .... they had the pink gem guitars ...little dangle earings. I bought savannah a couple of pair as they were cute...

I only buy her wallmart earrings as she loses a pair a week :rotfl:
I can get a pack of studs for 2 bucks and they last her a month.... she is at that age were she llikes to fiddle with her earrings and change them and lose them :scared1:

oh oh oh the new gymboree line came out today :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Its cute too! I like the orange tropical plaid!
I got savannah the little 2 piece bathing suit, the plaid halter dress (though I didnt get the shoes... didnt like them all that well... )
A couple of pair of the short outfits and that really cute pink 1 piece romper.

I knew they would come out with a gymbo line I liked before the bymbucks time was up :rotfl:

The girl line is MUCH better than the boy line. Dump Trucks are a big hit around here, but I do NOT like the orange and blue...:sad2:

Does anyone else have trouble with the Gymboree shoes or is it just my family? My girls will wear the shoes only a few times and the straps will break right off the side of the shoe where it connects to the sole :sad1:. I have finally stopped buying them, but they do look so cute when the shoes match their outfits.

Praline, congrats on the weight loss...:cool1: You look awesome!:woohoo:

I don't like gymboree's shoes as much .... I tend to end up at stride rite, but my kids are still little and I want to be good to their feet....

My Bare M just got here!!! I got to go play

Savannah loves the gymbo shoes... we haven't had any problems with them breaking... she is girlie though and not rough on her shoes... my boys eat shoes for breakfast :lmao:

Space.... have fun with your BM...let us know how it turns out

okay now that sounds really out there... can you imagine someone reading this message and not knowing BM=bare minerals hahahahha

wow! You guys have been busy!

I have to get a quiet moment to catch up & read what's new. The girls and I just got hair cuts. We have the most AWESOME girl that comes to our house...she used to work at Mario Tricocci here in town, but now works at a Bumble & Bumble salon a ways away so she comes to our house. Nice!

Anyway.....the post office deliverd a couple packages....one was bows. This PETKEEPERS lady makes the adorable flip flops and she made me the most gorgeous hairbows. This is a GOOD Ebay story. She made them originally w/alligator clips (per my request) but the bows were too heavy for the clips so I mailed them back and she replaced them with French & sent them back to me today with FOUR FREE beautiful bows!! She is terrific to work with - I HIGHLY recommend her. She will do any custom order and she's very reasonable.

Another super nice Ebay story had me in tears. :guilty: I received two beautiful custom hand painted sweatshirts for my girls today. A cute pink Jasmine for Jojo and a pretty blue Eeyore for Lucy. Well, the lady that made them was so nice to me about my Paypal issue and nasty Ebayer.....I was planning on mailing her cash as soon as she invoiced me but she hadn't invoiced me & I didn't want to be pushy as she was sooo nice. Instead she just sent the sweatshirts to me as a surprise. I figured OK, I have her address I will now send her the payment. Well, she wrote a note that these are "gifts". She lost her only brother on Christmas Day - he was shot.:sad2: She said painting these was therapy for her. (she hadn't done the handpainted sweatshirts in a while - but another friend of mine recommended her to me, so I knew to ask her to make them) It brought her some peace and calming and even a glimpse at joy.:sad1: :sad1: As I type this my heart breaks for her.....I got to know her a little thru emails b/f regarding the sweatshirts and we chatted about WDW a bit.....never knowing this about her. She does lovely work and she is a SUPER wonderful person. I will post pics of these asap, too. Her Ebay user ID is Debi0702.

Well.....off to see what I've missed today!

Channing- that was so nice of the Ebay lady!!! My stylist used to work at Bladez and now works at the individual salon suites on 31 (I think that was near the old Mario T. salon...) It is farther, but my haircuts went from $45 to $38 now that she is on her own! :thumbsup2

Brook- we have agreed to call Bare Minerals Bare M since we were all laughing at the BM connection when your internet was out :rotfl:

SpaceC- have fun playing!!! :cool1:

I don't buy a whole lot of gymboree shoes (OK, well maybe 5 pairs per year- I guess that is a lot for a a boy!!) I haven't noticed anything wierd with his... as for the plaid shorts- I think I already bought him 2 or 3 plaid pairs so far-don't want to kill him with plaid!

Went to the store and got the bread, Special K protein cereal, a lot of meat, eggs and Atkins Endulge Bars. They say "Atkins Count 2 Net" What does that mean??

Should be 2 net carbs... Check the label and find the total carb count. You can subtract grams of fiber, sugar alcohol etc.

When doing Atkins, you are allowed 20 net carbs per day. 1 egg has .6 net carbs, most meats have 0 net carbs (processed meats like sausage etc. have carbs and you have to check the label). Use the same calc as above for the cereal, but remember you have to count the carbs in milk as well (that is where cereal isn't always the best alternative)

Praline~your wl is truly amazing. Somehow I have to motivate myself so I can feel like that everyday I wake up in the morning.

Cinderumbrella~I tried Atkins with my husband, he did great but I just couldnt go without some carbs. They are my friend and enemy!!

Alright I am going downstairs to walk on my treadmill that is collecting dust :)

Kristin, all this diet talk and you go tempting me with that! :rotfl: It's really cute....I had an email on that and today got one for St. Patties Day. I LOVE those cookies.:lovestruc

I LOVE the WW points. :thumbsup2 They DO WORK. It is just more slow losing than other diets, but it is not really a "diet" and not anything extreme. It worked for me to drop 50lbs and I wasn't putting in a whole lot of effort. :goodvibes Now I just need to get motivated to drop some that I gained after our Thanksgiving trip and kept on over Xmas and this hideous winter.popcorn::

I can not live without carbs.:scared: No way. :sad2: That just isn't feasible....you are a superior being, Kristin.:rotfl: I get SUPER cranky if I don't have any..... I don't think I could do the extreme calorie cutdown, either....I'd get a headache and get tired. It is just too far from my norm.;)

Great job, Praline. YOu were lucky to have all the support.:)

:)

I agree about the carbs..I also get headaches from not eating..
What about if you run out of points by eve and need a snack??? thats my prob

I pace myself. Here's what I do....for bfast I drink either a couple cups of green tea w/splenda or coffee w/ff coffeemate and splenda, and I actually count my frosted miniwheats. I eat 30...I know the "serving" is 24, but 30 hold me over for hours. It is 3+ pts. Then for lunch I try and stay within 7 points (so total of 10 about noon) then a 2 or 3 point snack about 3pm. If I can be at 12 or 13 at dinner time I am home free. It is just making it to midday. I love that I can cook for my whole family and eat what they eat....I always do lean meat or chicken/turkey and I cook low fat and lots of veggies, whole wheat everything, too....I always look at the fat/fiber/calories when I am buying something new. If I am cooking something that isn't perfect for WW I just watch my portion. I know what to do - it worked like a charm - I just have to get back on the wagon!! Once I can walk daily I will be set. I also found that exercising too hard makes me too hungry.:rolleyes1 Everything in moderation works best for me. Also, the WW treats you can buy are really good. Actually the WW anything you can buy is good IMO. The treats are 1 to 3 points and hit the spot for a needed sweet fix. :thumbsup2 Drink lots of water, too. It's a great filler. Also I am a diet coke junkie. I love that stuff.....kinda bad, but I do.:goodvibes

One more important thing.....when you feel your stomach growling, know you are burning calories and probably fat. Have to embrace that little hunger feeling. I noticed when I was hungry & would eat and follow my points, I wouldn't feel super full....it felt like I was just on the edge of comfortable/hungry.

I have been kind of half a**ed doing it, but now all this talk has motivated me a little....I am going to try harder tomorrow. Tomorrow is another day!

I wanted to post pics of the gorgeous job Debi - a super nice Ebay lady - did on these sweatshirts. They are painted with glitter paint and they just sparkle like crazy. My girls and I love them. She was so nice and so generous....it makes me feel better about Ebay....and Petkeepers sending me the pretty bows and then the sweet freebies, too.:goodvibes There are some super Ebayers out there.:thumbsup2
