EDIT **** NEVERMIND I just found a pair in a size 3 and I think they will work and they were only 14 bucks

I have a couple of outfits from the Tulip days line... well Savannah had the cutest boat shoes to match and now they are too tight :scared1: the clothes all still fit her really well and they are for summer but I want the matching shoes :rotfl:

I am looking for a size 2 in this particular shoe... it has to be this shoe.....

I can't remember who the Lost fan's on here are....... But I love Thursdays, tonight is my TV night! All my faves are on and I love vegging all evening!

I bet when I log on in the AM there will be 10 pages for me to read! :rotfl: Have a good one ladies! DH is demanding I cook, who does he think I am :rotfl:

Totally a Thursday night TV girl... thank goodness for my DVR! Grey's and Lost were both great.

OMG! When I went back to an OLD photobucket folder to find that White Sox graphic, I found some pics from DS's first WDW trip when he was 2!!!

WDW20052152.jpg

With his "girlfriend" :cloud9: He would have sat that there ALL day if we would have let him...

MNSSHP Halloween Night 2005

Cute pics. He is such a doll!

OHHHHH! I AM SO MAD RIGHT NOW!!

Just got back from taking my daughters to get their professional dance photos. It is all the dancers and their classes etc. A entire studio full of loud little girls and STRESSED moms.

Well- I have to remember ballet shoes, clogging shoes, jazz shoes, two skirts etc, etc and of course I forget something...Lily's tutu (sp? have no idea right now) I of course freak and one of my friends says not to worry because they can take their individual photo in whatever skirt they want and then a group photo with the little jazz skirt (which was MUCH cuter) This mom (who I later find out is a grandma) says...I just think they look much cuter in the tutu so I feel they should wear that instead. (this is a outfit that they can wear the tutu for ballet and then switch skirts for jazz..same outfit different skirt) Are you kidding me??? You want my daughter to be the only one in the picture with a different skirt because you think the other skirt is cuter????? She continues to tell the other mothers that the girls are wearing the tutu.

I am freakin MAD by this time. I know I was in the wrong for forgetting the skirt but I would never let a child feel left out or look left out.

Thank goodness Lily is tough. She just went right up there and posed with the best of them. If that had been Lexi...she would have cried like a baby.

People can be sooo rude.

Vanessa -- that is just so WRONG! I don't blame you for being mad. Good for Lily!

Cute pics of Vanessa's family. I love the dresses the girls are wearing. We love the Disney cruises, but my boys aren't big fans of the club either. They only go at night after dinner, and we put them in the same age division, as they are quiet at first and slower to warm up.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
hmmmm it looks like your searching for protein bars in Jack's pockets:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Actually, it looks like Jack is looking for something as well. ;)

Ok so the GF is supposed to represent the turn of the Century correct? Well I want to "fit in" So I am seriously thinking of getting this bathing suit... whatcha think? It would go with the Victorian theme ;)

:rotfl: Can you imagine the thread started about the girl in that swimsuit? It might get more hits than the lady that sits in the lobby with the stuffies...

My boys would kill me in my sleep if I forced them to wear Disney PJS :rotfl2:
They are both boxer boys... no characters on the undies or the jammies :sad2:

This is cute for a little boy

Mine too. I miss the days when they would wear Disney pjs... now it's boxers for them too.

You girls hold it down to a dull roar while I'm working, please... It's hard to catch-up around here. :upsidedow

Channing- Thanks. Yes- this was a Disney Cruise. We did the Eastern in February. I have to admit (I know I may be the only one) I am just not a fan of cruising. It was fun but I felt like I was on a schedule the entire time. This time off the boat, this time on, this time dinner etc. My girls are both pretty shy when it comes to leaving us so they were not big fans of the kid's club. (I would be kicked of the cruise board right now)

My dh had a blast. He knew everyone on the boat by the time we got back. We may do one again but it will be a long time from now. I would not mind doing a 4 day. I did really enjoy Castaway Cay. I wish they would put a resort on this island.

How long was the cruise? I'm so glad to hear someone else say that they don't love cruises. We keep talking about going but I just can't book it. I'm just not that into it. My kids really want to go and they're 12 & 9 so they're excited about the kids clubs but for some reason cruising just doesn't sound like its up my alley. We are thinking about the 3 night since we're first timers. I'm also afraid if getting SEASICK. I know you can take bonine, blah, blah, blah - but it's an awful lot of $$ to just feel okay for 4 days! What did you think of the food?
Your pics are great ,BTW!:)

Thought maybe Channing had got to ya. She has been quite the advocate for the budget board.

So is there a code or are you going again??

:thumbsup2

I am looking for a protein bar :rolleyes1

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Totally!!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

HERE I AM!! I have to go walk before the rain!!! I will be back!! You guys are a riot!:rotfl: :rotfl:

PS>...I have NEVER wanted to cruise, either....my sister was a cruise director on several lines for like 10 yrs and we could have done it super cheap, but no htanks - we took a pass.....I have a bunch of reasons why and you guys have mentioned a lot of them.

See ya all later - PS>>>Brook I love that cute Jasmine nighty!!! Jo would, too...I always wind up buying the girls new undies and new pjs for vacations.......part of the fun.:goodvibes

I have never done a Disney cruise, but have been on other ships. I cruised quite a bit with friends when I was single, and with dh, we've been on just one cruise together. He was very hesitant to try it. We booked an 11-night Southern Caribbean cruise on Celebrity, and he ended up loving it as much as I do. I think the key for us was that we had only two days at sea, which meant we visited a different island all other days. That's eight different islands. So we never really had a chance to get bored or feel confined on the ship. It also helped that we booked with Celebrity, which caters to a mostly older crowd (read: 50 years of age or older) and has a really high passenger-staff ratio (almost 2-1). Our ship had around 1800 passengers, while some of those Carnival and Royal Caribbean ships can hold more than 3000 people. :scared1: That's just too massive for us! On our ship, it was a nice, relaxing environment with a nice, well-mannered crowd. There were less than 20 kids on the ship under the age of 12, so our girls got special, personal attention in the kids club, which was open everyday from 10 am to 1 am.

Our family really enjoyed the cruise, and we are considering either the Eastern Mediterranean next year or the South Pacific. I would also love to do South America this winter. Again, the key for us is to not have too many days at sea since we would be the kind to get really bored on those days. Some people love to cruise for the ship itself, not the destinations, but we are the opposite.

Oh, and I get really car sick (can't read and can't stand mountain roads), but I took Bonine every day and I had no problem whatsoever. You feel more than fine -- you feel normal. The key is to take it one hour BEFORE the ship sets sail. If you take it once you feel sick, it's too late by then.

I don't :rotfl2:

Here is where my budget/packing ideas come from ... nifty little trick I learned ;)

Pack the oldest undies and pj's your kids have... we are talking the ones you are debating throwing out.
THEN they wear them on their trip and you THROW THEM AWAY :yay:

It gives you more room in your luggage for the way home!

There were a few rocky days but the Eastern is known to be a little more rocky and we went in February. I did not feel sick but my friend's kids both got sick one night at dinner. The food was fine...not over the top but fine. You could get all the pizzas, burgers, chicken strips you wanted during the day. They also had a health fruit and wrap place. You could order 2 entrees at dinner. The wait staff was excellent. We loved them!

The pools are one thing that I really did not like. They were very SMALL. The kids were packed into the pools like sardines. There was an adult pool but my kids did not want to be in the club so we did not get to use it. I did not blame my girls. It was cold and snowy at home and they wanted to have fun in the sun.

I think a 3-4 day would be a much better way to start. I have to say...I was ready to get off after 7 days.

I would much rather be at WDW!!

OMG, my mother does the exact same thing, especially with undies. That is too funny!

Linda

We did get on the boat and then had 2 other full sea days before we got to port. I think this was a big reason I was not a fan.

The character interaction was out of this world though. My girls loved that!

We have been on a few cruises. I dont sail Disney cruise lines as it doesn't get very high reviews compared to other cruise lines. My personal fav is Royal Caribbean.

I like cruising... but its not my fav vacation. Its OKAY... DH likes it so we go for him.

I am trying to put a trip together to fly to St Croix and stay a week at a resort there. That will be much better than a cruise.

Seriously, I would research island resorts in the Caribbean along with a cruise. Most of the resorts have the same stuff as a cruise PLUS you get the beaches everyday :goodvibes

I would have never guessed that of you. Poor Savannah has crappy little undies on during her high glass GF vacation.

Exactly what I am thinking. Why cruise and stay a few hours when you can stay an entire week:confused3
