I am not sure which one we will do. Evie is doing some research on the training for the 1/2. We have only done a 5k before so this is all new territory for us!

Is this the same weekend as girls trip??

You are crazy V!!!! I thought we would gear up for 2010 and maybe run a 10k. You know you can talk me into anything though. Any runners out there know if it is possible to run a 1/2 in 6 months??? We have done 5k's before, but personally I have never ran more than 4 or 5 miles tops. I know it is so mental and I think that is why I want to do it. Something about being in your mid 30's makes you a little crazy
Maybe, we can get a good deal at the GF and that would make it all worth it!!!

I guess I have not mentioned it here, but myself, my BF, her DD and my DD are signed up for the Princess 5K. Thus providing more guilt everyday that I don't run. I'll do anything to get another trip to DW. Sorry guys, but we are staying at AKL Villas. MY BF is a DVC!

How great !!! I am DVC also, I understand, you will love it there also. Have you been training???

Did you really sign up? You can do it!! I don't think I could do a half marathon but I could do a 5K!

Uggh!! We are getting Fay's outer bands of wind and rain! My lights just flickered - I hope our power doesn't go out!

I train a little and then get in a slump, but it is much easier than when I started.

FYI - Just use a tread mill and try for a brisk pace of 16 min. mile. That is the pace you must keep or the rules say they will sweep you off, so that is what I have been trying to stay at when I have to stop running.

Hey let me get youse guyses opinion on this.... DH and boys reeeeeally want to do that car stunt show at DHS. We missed it last time. What is something that I could do with Alex (my 2 year old) while the older boys do the stunt show? Any good shows or attractions for little kids (besides Playhouse disney)?

Lesley- take him to see it!! My DS loved it when he was 2!! The cars zooming around, the jet ski etc. If not, the Muppet 3-D show is near there.

No news yet... another meeting tonight I guess. The meet and greet went well (except we got ANOTHER school supply list!!!!!!!! ) Teacher seems nice. Now we just wait...

You gals have fun running the marathon!! I am so NOT in!! The only thing I run after is the icecream truck!!!

We are hading up to the Dells bright and early tomorrow for the weekend. Staying at the Wilderness Resort. We haven't been to the Dells in over 10 years so this should be interesting. The hotel also has an indoor waterpark in case it rains.

hey!! back from Woodfield...didn't read any posts but have to say SWA opened up their booking thru March 6. Just an FYI...not sure if it was posted. I checked the 5th (thurs and also the 6th Friday) and they are at $159 all flight times.....I know there were some of us DAWN...that want that day!!!

When will we know for sure???? If I talk to Kelly I am gonna have to find out what those weekend dates are.....

OMG....alright...so I skimmed thru what I missed.....seriously?? You guys are doing the Minnie Marathon?!?!?!?! It wasn't full??? I'm sorry for giving you bum info. I thought I heard on a podcast that it was already full for 2009. AWESOME!!! And NO, Princesses!!! If it IS THAT weekend, I will be on the sidelines with Dawn and a fluffy drink cheering you gals on!!!! THAT is exciting!!!! Are you guys REALLY signed up V & E??? VERY cool!!! And Princesses??? ARe you, too?!?

We need to hear from Kel.....Did we decide THAT weekend??

Mandy, I am glad it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Hang tight! The sun will come out...tomorrow...

Lesley....I was thinking either the Muppets or that Honey I shrunk the kids playground area, too. The only thing with that is it's hard to keep track of your little guy there and with you being pregnant you most likely aren't going to want to be climbing all around.....I haven't ever seen that stunt car show...dH and DS did, though. I don't know if your little guy would like it....very noisy and HOT in the sun. Yep...that arcade is a good option...indoors,, A/C and we all know boys and their lots and lots of buttons and lights. THey love that stuff!! HAve a GREAT TIME!!!!

I thought I heard on a podcast that it was already full for 2009. AWESOME!!! And NO, Princesses!!! If it IS THAT weekend, I will be on the sidelines with Dawn and a fluffy drink cheering you gals on!!!! THAT is exciting!!!! Are you guys REALLY signed up V & E??? VERY cool!!! And Princesses??? No , I haven't signed up - It wouldn't be any fun by myself! I could only handle the 5K though - it's only 3 miles! I would keel over if I tried to do the Half Marathon! C'mon - if I can do 3 miles you can,too! We have 6 months to get going!!

I wonder if they'd let us run with fluffy drinks? That may be the only way I could be able to cross the Finish line!!

Thanks for the suggestions guys.... I think I will see what the weather is that day. If it is super hot, I'm not going to sit there with Alex at the stunt show... maybe we can go on Toy Story an extra time or something. He really liked that ride!

Yep..March 6th through the 8th....OMG what a great excuse to go Vanessa Evie and Wendy!!! Woohoo more gals in!
Chan we will start with the light stuff (grasshoppers and pink squirrels) and work our way up to the hard stuff like Cosmos and Choc Martinis!!!!

School was very light today...Monday is when the real fun starts! I brought cards and chocolate for the secretary and my cooperating teacher..(i know who to suck up to) LOL!
