We have the Plaza scheduled for Christmas week

Mare, we went to both BB and TL lst August with DS (who was 4 at the time) We MUCH preferred BB to TL. TL is great for the really little ones and the older ones, but the 4-7 year olds kinda gotta shafted. BB is much better for that age group.

We've been to TL (DH and I) it was very relaxing. I think BB is more about the slides - right? More action? Anyway, TL is closed for rehab, BB is open so we don't have a choice.

It looks like BB has a lot of family tube rides, which would be nice. I would love to be able to stay together. DH is more of the lazy river type. I'll be the one going on the slides with DS4!

I'm a coffee addict and this trip I'm doing what Praline suggested and bringing my own coffee pot with some Starbucks coffee from home. There are a few "good" places to get real coffee listed in the article. I seriously took notes!

I am admittedly a big Starbucks brat! Every morning, DH and I get a venti coffee to go and every once in a while for a treat, I sometimes stop in for a grande iced hazelnut! I wish they never invented Starbucks - before they were around, I never even drank coffee! DAunt calls it "jet fuel," it's so strong! I often wonder how much money we waste on coffee each year - scary!

I have photographed my children and family so much that they are so used to it. You really can't imagine how I have captured EVERYTHING on kodak, their not models and I am not a photographer but its just something I love and they love. Everyone, including our family loves that we always have MILLIONS of pictures everytime we get together.

I have to fun the funniest one they took, it was at the GF!!! Now that I am looking at them we have to have 20 or more shots with hats!!!

Ok!! This one makes me laugh because my son COULD NOT keep only one eye open!!

So, thats how you get kids to do whatever you want, whenever you want...at least with a camera. I can't get them to do ANYTHING else.

On to the Plaza! We love the Plaza for the first day, usually its dinner but its kind of early and we're really tired. Sandwiches and ice cream is exactly what we need to move on to a few more rides before heading back to hotel to unpack!!!

Mare - Gaspies had the huge Disney bags, maybe after you left they realized people really needed them (actually I got one everyday). Besides it rains off and on so much they have to have bags!!

Ok to multi quote press the middle button on the bottom rt side of the screen, it has the " + signs. The button will turn red. Then when you are ready to go to the screen and add your comments press quote on the last post you woant to quote or reply .

To only quote part of a post quote as normal and then highlight and cut the parts you don't need. just make sure you don't erase the bracketed [ ] stuff a the beg and end or it will no be in blue.

To all - these boards have made my "cleaning day" go much quicker! Every time I finish a chore - I pop in and have a little Disney fun! Missing DAunt today as she took DTwinCousins to Boston to set up their college apartment this w/e!

Okay, you and Channing convinced me to go back to the Plaza. I canceled Tony's for lunch (which DH was not looking forward to!) and got an ADR for The Plaza. The menu has a nice variety.

Our first and last day ADRs have to be with the characters. Ugh! I'm looking forward to 1900 Park Fare for dinner on our first night. Our last day we're having lunch at the Crystal Palace. I know it's hit or miss but it has Pooh which is all the boys care about!

Well, I must have complained enough for them to appear! In June, they had NONE! I didn't mind using the tray for breakfast when I was alone, but with the kids and the stroller I needed a bag - a big bag! I had to remember to bring my own. I'm glad they actually listened to my suggestion.

Annette: What did you think of Mama Melrose and Tutio Italia? We haven't been to Mama Melrose since 2000 and back then DH hated it. I've heard good things, so we're going to try it in Nov. We also tried Alfredos years ago and that was horrible! But we had so much fun with the Italian waitstaff since my DH speaks Italian. THEY even thought the food was gross and made fun of the americans ordering noodles in white sauce! Tutio Italia is supposed to be better than alfredos. But as another NYer, I'd like your option since we have great Italian food here and your family looks Italian

I think this is a cute and healthy alternative to the cakes. They also have the Disney Princesses.

WOW! I haven't stayed at the GF during Christmastime since 1997!!!!!!!! I think 09's trip may have to be in December!! That gingerbread house looks amazing!

I was THERE!! (well it says added Dec 26.2006...so maybe not if it wasn't REALLY filmed in 2006) but if so...that was our GF Xmas year.

Don't you remember World of Disney?! It is the Disney Store on steroids!!!! We go every trip just for that store and some Ghiradelli ice cream

We have never been here. We go to DTD and that other toy store (Is it Once Upon a Toy??), but only stay on that one side with the Christmas store, etc. Is Ghirardelli comparable to Beaches and Cream in terms of ice cream? We have never been there either. I would try to try to plan it for Feb, but I have trouble seeing us venturing to Beach Club just for this ... Well, I would do it, but I can see having trouble convincing my parents and sister this is worth it.

DS will go bananas in that store! And he will love going for ice cream of any kind! He has a serious sweet tooth!

Do any of the stores in WDW sell Giselle costumes, other than her wedding dress? DD loves the movie "Enchanted" and Giselle and was asking!

I did not see any Giselle stuff when we were there in Feb. Others have been more recently, of course. Actually, my DD5 has a Giselle dress that I found online from Marks and Spencer. My sister lives in the UK and sent it to her! It is reversible; one side the blue dress she makes out of the curtains and the other side the pink dress she is wearing during the animated part in the beginning. I don't know why Disney didn't make a version of this. Makes no sense to me considering the success of the movie!

Mare~I use the tub of body butter ummmm! Yes! Basin and Basin White are different...Basin White at GF is suppose to be more upper scale.. i dont see much of a difference except for the smells!

The Plaza is down at the end of Main Street on the right toward Tomorrow Land...where the yellow umbrella tables are out facing the castle. It's yummy..more basic homey food. I get so sick of restaurant food...it's good.

I didn't know they were diff companies....interesting. I bought the Pink Sugar Body BUtter....Yummo!! I could just about eat the stuff.
