Good Morning fellow cheeseballs!

I am dealig with the boys who are running around and raising you know what.

Chan, I think she means H-E-double hockey sticks! :lmao:

Kelly, Hannah is driving me nutso as well. SO I am making her go swimsuit shopping with me. I must be looking for trouble today ...

Morning ladies!

Andrea~ good luck finding a great suit! I hate swim suit shopping! I went to the beach when I was pregnant once in a bikini thinking I was all cute with that huge belly! NOPE, only flat belly's need to be exposed! :rotfl2: I am still horrified by those picture! Ughh, what was I thinking? Young and dumb! ::yes::

Kelly~ my kiddos are not being very good today! I need to check if it is a full moon! :confused3

Chan~ Yay, your trip is soon! Congrats on Z and the new freedom, although the insurance cost sucks!

Have a great day ladies!

Morning GF pals!!

I am out trying to get our camper ready for this weekend. We are taking off Friday and camping and going back over the 4th of July.

You got it...campers in the summer and the GF in the winter!!

I am ready for a little relaxation by the fire and the girls are completely excited! They have a pool and kids activities so it should be fun!

My Pop=Walmart author pal is going along with her 4 children so it should be a blast!

I have been so busy looking over B's photos and trying to get my trip together this morning that I have not even looked over here. I wish I had waited to plan until she got back...now with some of her advise I need to change up things a little!

Thanks for all the info B...it has been great and I cannot wait to use the VIP guide.

Congrats to Zach on getting his license!! :woohoo:

Welcome home Brook and Mare!! I totally get being Disneyed out when you get back. I am just now getting back in the swing of it and we have been home for a month!!

Has Lesley posted yet about her trip????

Congrats Mike on choosing the Poly! But keep looking for the GF- ya never know!

See ya!
Kristin

hey all...

Mandy! lol..thanks for the insurance reminder...I just called col to remind him...CALL the INSURANCE CO. :faint:

Andrea.
..OMG..I ordered a tankini top with that special order...It was AWFUL. I hope your suit works out better. Just an FYI...I'd keep looking iif I were you.:rotfl: Don't waste time!! And you goof...I KNEW she meant they were raising H*LL.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: That's what boys do.:rotfl2: :thumbsup2 I was just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.:rotfl:

Can I just say my daughter is a witch?:stir: So...I have tons of new clothes for vacation...You won't catch me in my yoga clothes...(which I don't own BTW) But anyway...so here I am thinking I will take an outfit for a dry trial run today to make sure I like the way I feel in it. Well...I say to Lucy..."Hey, Luce...How does this look?" She gave me a funky face:worried: and said....OK...and I said, "Well...is it my arms?" (I have always had arm issues, haha) And she says, "No...you look ....OK"...so I am like...."Well..why the funny face?"...and she giggles and says.."You LOOK OK"...(you know, like "get off my back".."you're annoying me"..kind of answer...SO NOT WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR!)..So I said, 'It's ok to tell me WHAT looks wrong.....I would prefer to know"...and she just laughs in a total Smart A@@ way and says "Mom...you look fine. OK?"...and I got ticked. SO now I feel like a total FAT LOSER in new clothes that make me look in an unmentionable way.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: And I am thinking to myself..."I should have let you wear that Eeyore clown skirt all over the parks every day...all day, Lucy, you brat.":rotfl2:

Anyway....talk to ya later.

Chan :headache:

Channing~ You crack me up!! I am sure she would just hate you if you made her wear that skirt daily but it would be funny! They do not realize all the time we put into planning their perfect outfits for their trip and how little time we plan for ourselves! I am sure you look great!

:rotfl: I have long since given up asking ANYONE in this house how I look. If I wanted an honest answer I WOULDN'T ASK!!!!! I want a great big smile of "You look great!"

Seriously Chan, if you like how it fits then GO FOR IT!! Your opinion is all that matters :thumbsup2

I LOVE those shoes, I was thinking about getting the brown too!!!!!!!

I ordered the Aerosoles in tan pearlized...ooh do i love them...comfy and stylish. Good to know you can walk all over WDW wth them!

I'm really surprised that I walked ten days in those shoes without ANY pain whatsoever! I did use the Blister Blocker that you recommended a few times before I broke in the leather. I wore them down there on the plane, then stayed in them for dinner and a few hours in MK. I figured it's only a few hours and we're not walking the entire park. I was shocked that they didn't bother me!! After that, I wore them religiously the entire trip! I wonder if they're out the outlet yet?? Considering we all got them on sale???

I did where the Havianna Flip Flops around the resort, they didn't bother me. But I didn't go very far in them. I learned my lesson the first time. They are not for walking miles in!

I am glad you enjoyed the cabana, I don't know if I referred to it as AC or a fan but it feels good!! We go in July every year and I guess we're used to the heat and spending the day at the pool. With kids the ages they are there is no alternative with school.

I think it was more my little one that got to us. Since he's only been walking a few weeks, he wants to walk everywhere! He made the trip a little more hectic. I had to trap him in the cabana. I was able to move the furniture around and close some of the curtains to trap him in. They also had a cushioned mat to put on the floor for him, which was nice. He was such a little terror at meals too. He just didn't want to sit. He had no interest in the characters, unless they really interacted with him. He just wasn't an easy traveler like my older son was at his age. I think we need to wait for him to get a little older, hopefully a year will make a difference.

It was also a pain that certain rides scared him and never scared my older son. My little one was terrified of Peter Pan, while that was my older son's favorite this trip. So one of us went on Peter Pan, while the other had to ride Small World. We figured it out that 2 spins on Small World equal one Peter Pan with wait time :)

Mare, they were probably going to CR or WL, I would guess?

Funny thing was the driver announced only two stops when we left the airport. He said loud and clear, first stop Poly, next stop GF. So, where was everyone else going??? It was just odd.

The driver on the return trip to the airport never announced which airlines were at the terminal. So we're sitting chatting with people sitting near us. Then the driver screams the airlines and yells at us that this is our stop. He had our stroller and stuff waiting for us. No one heard him make the first announcement. He was a jerk.

I do have to thank you all for recommending that I save the expired fast passes. I have a funny story: One EMH-AM in MK, the boys and I covered all of Fantasyland in an hour. I went to get fast passes for Mickey's Philharmonic then realized the line was empty so we went right on it. (Both boys didn't care for it, I thought it was cute). When I went to discard the fast passes, I noticed I made a mistake. I had gotten Peter Pan instead of Mickey's Philharmonic. Wow! DS4 loves Peter Pan!! Well, we never made it there that day. That night I was going to throw them out but remembered what you all said about using them. So I told DH and he said let's try it. So the next day we go to Peter Pan and I explain to the CM (a very very elderly man) that my son was sick and we never made it here in time (white lie) He just said "no problem, welcome". Bingo, we're in!! The fast passes were from yesterday!!! The cm collecting them never even looked at them! DH was shocked!!! I only did it that once, but believe me now I'm tempted to pull that one again!! I know this won't work everywhere. We were in the Fast Pass line at the Jungle Cruise (within our time frame) and the CM was checking each pass very carefully. She was young and maybe a new hire. She said to people in front of us that you were allowed to be 5 to 10 mins off, that's it.

I also got a tip from a mom at Epcot during Illuminations. DS4 was dying to ride Test Track. Every time we got to the ride, the fast passes were gone for the day. So on our last Epcot EMH-PM, we headed straight to Test Track. The wait was 90 mins. DH said, just take him. I'll wait with the baby. So he went to sit on a bench and watch Illuminations while I waited in the LONG line. As the line started to move, we were in a holding quo within 15 mins. I asked a mom in front of me if the ride was nearby. She said it's just mins away. (Test Track virgin here). I told her the wait time was supposed to be 90 mins. She said during Illuminations the times are all off. Many people walk off the line (which I saw) to go catch the fireworks also many people don't return with the fastpass that late. We had gotten on line at 9:10 pm and were off it by 9:40 pm. She said that Soarin's wait was 120 mins and they did it within 45 mins. Just good to know, don't go by the wait times during the fireworks. We didn't get to Soarin. Same thing, fast passes were always gone for the day. It was getting to late for the boys that night so we did Nemo one more time (Nemo and Small World I never knew I'd ride so many times!!!) then we called it a night. Oh, DS4 also loved the Mexico boat ride with Donald Duck. He called it the Mexican Small World. :)

I did get to try the Grey Goose Lemonade Slushie in France, that was refreshing! I could of had a few of those!

Surprisingly, we had a great character meal at Liberty Tree Tavern on our final night. After our three horrible character meals in the beginning of our trip, we really gave up. DH didn't want to go but I sorta insisted since it was the last character interaction for the boys. We waited LONG. We got there at 5pm because of a rain storm and they didn't seat us until 6pm. Our ADR was for 5:45. Thankfully, the food was good. We both had the turkey. DH said he didn't care for the ham or the steak. I didn't try them. DS4 had chicken fingers which he loved. DS1 enjoyed the sweet rolls and mac and cheese. The character interaction was the best we ever had. Chip and Dale played around with all of us. Posing for pictures with DH and me. They're idea. Goofy, Pluto and Minnie came by our table so many times during the meal. The kids just loved it. I really thought this meal was going to be horrible and it was really fun and the food was good (good for a character meal). Right after dinner we were able to ride Pirates with no wait time!! It had just reopened the day before and the lines were crazy! Somehow, there were no lines this night. Maybe the rain scared everyone away?

Narcoossee's was fantastic. The service was really topnotch. DH was just a little disappointed with the size of the lobster tail that comes with surf and turf. He said it should have been a little larger. He also wasn't crazy about the calamari appetizer, it was very spicy. He wished he would had ordered the soup that I had. I also had the tilefish which was delicious. The potatoes were really good. The almond cheesecake was amazing - and at no charge even better! The waiter said please have dessert on us since it's you're birthday! The pot of pressed coffee was heavenly.

For my birthday DH got me 2ct diamond stud earrings, the GF "bling" t-shirt from Summer Lace and the birthday soap from Basin. He shopped all by himself!:)

You'll be happy to know I didn't use my ziplock bags in the restaurants!! Just for the boys crackers. I did stop at the Wilderness Lodge to pick up some Thomas Bagels and in the mornings would toast them at Gaspies and grab some butter. My boys love their bagels! For the price of one disney bagel (which are yucky!) you can get a whole sleeve of Thomas' bagels!

Oh, I did notice that grilled cheese is not listed on Gaspie's menu, but it is listed on the order form when they take your grill order. My DS1 is a huge grilled cheese fan. It's not a kid's order, just a regular sandwich on sourdough bread. I think it was $3.

That's all I can think of for now. I have our suitcases lying in the middle of our living room! I'm just not in the mood to deal with them!!

DH has an entire mickey bag full of the h20 GF products! He loved them. I think that's why one of our bags were 3 pounds overweight at the airport!!

Mare

So Sweet Mare!

Good lord girl! My earlobes would droop if I had a caret in each one, but if DH got them for me I guess I would *have* to wear them so I didn't hurt his feelings!:rotfl2: Good for you :thumbsup2 I have 1ct TW princess cut earrings that I refuse to wear because I am afraid I might loose them or someone might kill me to steal them! :scared1: I got good knock offs CZ's from QVC that are identical that I wear all the time now, makes me feel better and not so paranoid I am gonna loose one! I have the worst luck with earings! :rotfl:

My DH got me one of those blingy shirts as a surprise for when we got home! I have the turquoise v neck one! That is my COLOR! Love it! Everyone compliments me when I wear that shirt!

Glad you had a great trip!

Hey, everyone. I never made it out today and then I just read about your suit from LE ... Yikes! I seriously am going to wear my cover up the whole trip. Hannah can swim efficiently enough for me to sit by the pool and watch her ... :(

Channing, if YOU feel good, that is what matters. Seriously. Hannah was rude beyond belief to me when I was in the dressing room trying on suits last week. And I didn't even ask her opinion!!! And she is 5! I was so depressed.

Argh. Mare, I am with you on the character meals. With so many places to eat at Disney and the crappy character meal food, I am so over them. To bad DD5 loves them so much ... :rolleyes1

You are the zip lock queen! They announced at church they need zipper baggies for our mission trip and I though of you! I though "I wonder if Mare know if we can get them in bulk" HA HA ;)

I am a H2O convert! I got a bunch from marshalls. I LOVE the shampoo and conditioner that is in the GF room! I had a bunch from our trip and I ran out of my regular shampoo and had to use it and now I am hooked! I am a shampoo snob and use the good salon stuff and my hair has never looked better with the H2O, my hair girl even said how healthy my hair looked! Crazy, normally hotel stuff is junk and I just leave it but I LOVE H2O!

Good morning all you GF partiers!!!! WHERE ARE YOU GUYS????:confused3 This thread was down LOW! Wake up!!!! Come out to play!! It's summer!!!

Marci!! I wondered where you have been?! So you've been in Chicago!?! Very cool! YES, next time you come you need to let us know and we can meet! That would be such fun.:goodvibes I know you're super busy. I hope you are able to have some fun this summer with your hectic schedule. But sometimes THAT IS fun!:) You need to get serious about your ADRs. During that busy time I do that too....make ADRs for all meals just in case...we don't usually do bfasts either. We aren't big on bfast food and the lounge is nice. I hope RPC opens up for you and Mike. That would be the most convenient (and best) thing. It's good to see you around again!!

Well...DS took my car out by himself - with a friend - yesterday for the first time....I was sweatin it believe me but it was fine. I need to start TRUSTING haha...that is gonna be tough.

I switched my flight to leave on Sunday vs Saturday. Extended one more day...I also looked at the AP website and for my days all YC room categories are still open so maybe I will upgrade when I am there...I am still kinda eh abut the YC CL. The only thing that gets me stoked are the KKs. Not sure if KKs are worht that extra nightly cost.:rotfl: OH..Ya..I know they are:love: , but still...... We'd have to eat a lot of KKs.

Talk to ya all later, I'm sure! WAKE UP!! THE COFFEE IS READY!!!!:Chanpopcorn::

Ahhh I was up until 2am last night:faint: I couldnt get to sleep!

Hey, everyone! Channing, I am AWAKE over here. I am online shopping for bathing suits! :scared1: I have tried on sooo many in the stores over the past month and NOTHING I like/want ...
My fav suit is worn out after 3 years of use and I need something just like it with UNDERWIRE, please.

I may go out in a bit to look at TJMaxx and Marshall's ... AGAIN. We are going to the beach for 10 days next week and I am desperate need of a decent suit ... I am beginning to think that may not exist. Maybe I should just go eat some KKs and wear a caftan or a moomoo on the beach. :rotfl: With my huge sunglasses and a huge hat. That will work, right? :rotfl2:

Hey that works for me;)

Morning GF pals!!

I am out trying to get our camper ready for this weekend. We are taking off Friday and camping and going back over the 4th of July.

And you goof...I KNEW she meant they were raising H*LL. That's what boys do.:rotfl2: :thumbsup2 I was just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.:rotfl:

Can I just say my daughter is a witch?:stir: So...I have tons of new clothes for vacation...You won't catch me in my yoga clothes...(which I don't own BTW) But anyway...so here I am thinking I will take an outfit for a dry trial run today to make sure I like the way I feel in it. Hey its those teenage hormones!!!! "mom leave me alone!"

Hey guys....I knew you would all laugh with me about bratty kid opinions.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Well, I wore my outfit around here, vacuumed and cleaned the kitchen...and I LOVE the skort. It is from Eddie B (MY store:goodvibes ) and UPH or whatever...sunblock fabric and it is light as a feather. I bought it in all colors available..haha...SO anyway...I love it. Now I htink I just am SO not into tank tops. NEVER EVER WEAR THEM except FL in summer.:rolleyes1 I do not like the flabby arm look ( )but I am worried I will be too hot in tees. :confused3 I have cute longer shorts, too, and some in linen which is nice and cool. I just thought "What a butt head to just leave me hanging and feeling insecure!" I will ask Colin what he thinks. He always is truthful without being creepy.:rotfl: All I want is the truth...no funky faces needed.:cool2:

Andrea....How about some of the LE halter tankini tops?? They come in DD and they are great. THey come in lots of prints to match your choice of bottoms. I think I'd use that code if I were you and order a few more things JUST IN CASE. You want to feel good. I know you do...I am right there with ya.:rotfl:

Mare - that is sooo nice of your DH. What a great shopper. I never get anything for my bday anymore. I get my WDW trips and that's good enough for me....but some bling would be nice.:goodvibes

My DH loves the H2O stuff, too....he just ordered some shampoo and conditioner Sat night...they have a great offer with purchase, too...I got a "beauty kit" with some diff products in it....$30 value FREE. DH is the most low maintenance guy but he loves how the shampoo/conditioner leave his hair. I sometimes get lucky with finding it at our Marshalls, too!!!! Not lately though. I have colored hair so I stick with my own products, but I love teh H2O body wash and minty rubs.:thumbsup2

Talk to ya all later!

I have 1ct TW princess cut earrings that I refuse to wear because I am afraid I might loose them or someone might kill me to steal them! :scared1: :rotfl: !

I have 1.5 ct princess cut studs that I got on my 30th bday. He gave them to me in front of the castle in MK. I was really surprised to get another pair of studs. Hey, I'm not stupid. I'm not questioning or refusing diamonds! :rotfl2:

My DH got me one of those blingy shirts as a surprise for when we got home! I have the turquoise v neck one! That is my COLOR! Love it! Everyone compliments me when I wear that shirt!

Glad you had a great trip!

I got the coral pink one. It's not a v-neck. I would have liked that. I did receive many compliments on it. It was a nice surprise!

Argh. Mare, I am with you on the character meals. With so many places to eat at Disney and the crappy character meal food, I am so over them. To bad DD5 loves them so much ... :rolleyes1

I know, we do it for the kids. I'd rather do a character meal than wait in those long meet and greet lines.

You are the zip lock queen! They announced at church they need zipper baggies for our mission trip and I though of you! I though "I wonder if Mare know if we can get them in bulk" HA HA ;) :

Does your supermarket have a dollar section? Mine near the country house does and they have three boxes of ziplocks for $1. Depends what you're using them for. This trip I used target brand freezer ziplocks sandwich size for filling up with ice and putting it in our cooler for the baby's sippy cups. They're really strong and never leaked.

I am a H2O convert! I got a bunch from marshalls. I LOVE the shampoo and conditioner that is in the GF room! The funny thing is I went down to the Sandy Cove to actually buy the shampoo and conditioner and here with out me knowing DH is over tipping the housekeeping staff and managed to fill a dresser drawer with toiletries!! :rotfl2: He was so proud of himself!! So I think we're good for a while! :thumbsup2

Off to make dinner. I'm dying for a home cooked meal! I'm making spaghetti and meatballs and shrimp scampi - yum! :cool1:

Kristin....it was not a pretty house last night....The Cubs fan rubbed into the Sox fans face..and put a broom in his room!!! :stir: OMG..my head hurts!
