OK IL girls. I thought you were talking about the last Friday in July not June. I cannot go next Friday. I have a follow up for these dumb veins and we are leaving for the weekend.

Whew!!! And I was the one feeling like a dope for having to bring DS!!!! I vote for picking another date so I don't have to bring him!! (Moving a Thursday back to the top of the heap again!!!)

Mandy~ Yep- that is the one where they inject the saline. I had 5-6 viles injected all over. It was just uncomfortable pain with a lot of stinging. I have some really bad veins on the backs of my legs. It was to the point where I really needed them done. I am supposed to keep them up for 48 hours and then no excessive walking or lifting for a week. You also have to keep them bandaged and no baths for two days. STINKY!!

Well...I changed my flight for like the 50th time. We fly out Tuesday July 1. One day less than two weeks!!! (It works out better with the kenneling and other running around stuff...DH can work from home on Monday etc) I would have loved to shop before we go though!!! When I get back I will be broke and chubbier from vacation.

No problem....I have a free and easy summer. Most days work for me.

I am gonna go change my countdown thingy.....NOW!

OK, explain the SW credit thing to me. I know if it goes cheaper I can change it, but how long is the credit good for?? 1 year from the date of the credit or 1 year from the date of purchase??

I was playing around with some random Sept dates and the PRICES STILL STINK!!!! ($319 pp) When they release the new fares, what are the chances of a DING or some kind of promo to help get that fare down?!

My dd age 8 was premature and had reflux. She ate NOTHING but carnation good start in whole milk for years. (I guess you drink this) She has finally started eating but not much. She just eats several times a day. I think you have to overlook the entire 3 meals a day plus two snack thing. Let them eat when they are hungry and what they want. While they are eating try and introduce new things. Lexi loves fruit so I try to put peanut butter with apples, bananas and peanut butter, lots of strawberries with sugar free cool whip etc.

We used to have to give her Pediasure ( I never tasted it). YUCK

I would also like to know how this works Channing. If you get a Ding- do you get a credit if you fare you have is higher??

We are going on July 5th to White Sox game and my son the only Cub fan in the fam will go with us and wear his Cubs crap....when the guys went to a token Cubs game for him, my other son bought a shirt and wore it that night that said"Choke..the official drink of the Cubs"...I told him he was going to get beat up

I believe it is good for one year from the original purchase date. I purchased my first tickets on April 25...so no matter that I changed them a dozen times...even as late as last week, April 25 is my original date...I have ONE YEAR to travel from that date....BUT...this is a new one and not sure that it is correct...DH said that he thinks you can buy SWA gift cards with that credit and then it will be good forever. ALSO, it is transferrable. You can buy a ticket for a friend, parent, whatever...the credit is good for anybody's use.

Vanessa..on their SWA homepage, it should say when the new dates will be released. Did you subscribe to their news letter emails?? Those will alert you, too.

YES!!! If you buy your fare at whatever rate you can stomach, if it drops, you can rebook and cancel and get a credit. YOu have to be smart about it and not cancel until you have almost gone thru the whole system of rebooking so you don't lose out entirely on seats....then CANCEL and use that credit to pay for your new flight and you will have extra as a SWA credit for future travel. Also this time I made it easier on myself and used Travel Tools...CHANGE FLIGHT. That way it's less steps. I saw my $149 one way was down to $99..so went into change flight and basically rebooked the same fight for the rate decrease and they had my info already typed in so it was quick and painless. OK...was that a confusing mess or what? Sorry.....If you go to SWA and check out their "Travel Tools" section you'll see what I am talking about. It's super easy and I am NO computer user friendly person haha....

Hey! Now I have to find out WHICH day Lucy's summer band concert is...I think it might be July 24....I will find that paperwork tonight!! July 17 sounds like good to me!

Too funny about your son. We also have tickets for July 6 (DH is excited- its 80's hat day ). We were just there on Father's Day and the Sunday prior for DS's bday. It is quite a month of Sox games for us!!!! Other than the upcoming fan deck tix we have been in regular seats (anywhere from 8th row to 22nd row). Some of the better "scores" have been sky box tickets (went to 4 of those last year), Scout seats behind home plate (3 last year) and 1st row on the corner of dug out DH is always able to get AMAZING seats for most sporting events around here. I just hope he can pull in some Ice Bowl tix for Jan 1 when the Blackhawks play the Red Wings at Wrigley (the ONLY time I will set foot in THAT place voluntarily!!)

Vanessa and Kristin I have been looking everyday for SW fares to be released and they still say June 26....right now though through end of Oct it says $69.00 fares to Orlando to visit WDW...Chan did you know this???? I know ours is going to be alot since it is over a holiday period..but better than United or AA

We get our tix from a friend at school who has season tix...3rd row from the field down the 1st base line....we always get autographs and foul balls! July 5th is also fireworks night which is the best

Thanks to everyone for their tips on my picky eater. Tonight for dinner she had a piece of garlic bread and a bowl of ice cream. That is what she wanted tonight so that is what she got, at least she ate something today. I have tried the pedi-sure and she refuses to drink it, she likes just water. I gave her some orange juice the other day that had quite a bit of pulp in it, and she did not like that so now she refuses to even drink juice of any kind. She likes her fruit plain, doesn't like any sugar on it, or peanut butter. She won't eat ketchup or ranch or dip anything. She is just super picky and knows she is driving me crazy.

Have you tried a trail mix like just peanuts and m&m's. Just wondering if she would like something like that.

At least she ate ice cream and garlic bread. It is something. I would also do a multi-vitamin daily. Good luck!

Natalie was always a picky eater too!! The doctors told me that her tastebuds were super sensitive like her hearing, due to the lack of her vision.

They say when one sense is low or missing the others get stronger, so it made sense. Anyway, she has gotten soooooo much better and is not so thin anymore. Now, I actually have to watch her intake so she doesn't become overweight. But she is sooooooooooo tall for her age, she'll probably be fine.

My DH just came home from Chicago, I don't know how close you girls are to the city. He goes pretty often to work with the CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange). Maybe one day I'll go with him!!
