Morning everyone!
I have to tell someone what I just read on the food picture thread. Someone was actually asking about bringing baggies to a WDW buffet!

Now I have heard everything.
I bring Ziplock bags everywhere, especially to the buffets in WDW. The waitstaff actually encourages us to take snacks for the kids. The first trip (I didn't have a ziplock with me) the waitress filled two large soda cups with cheerios for my son. Ever since, I always bring ziplocks and take a banana, apple, some cereal and cookies from the buffet. I'm very discrete. I'm not shoving platters of food into extra large gallon size bags

I would have never of thought of this had the waitresses not encourage it.
Here's a question for you ladies... what do you use to carry stuff around at the parks? A backpack? a purse? I am looking for a super small purse thingie for essentials. Any suggestions?
Last few trips, I used my Coach Swingzip or Prada bag (very similar, just more roomy). This trip I bought a LeSportSac Tessa bag with tons of pockets yet it's lightweight and "smooshable" to get into the stroller basket. Make sure to carry a change of clothes for the kids (lots of sprinklers around). I also bring a small receiving blanket to use as a towel or blanket in a restaurant.
Hey Brook, are YOU packed yet??????? Make me feel better and say no, please!!!!!
I leave in 10 days and I'm sorta packed. I've been buying the boys Disney Shirts and new shorts and swim suits so all that's packed. I have three boxes to ship to the resort Thursday. I just have to pack DH and my clothes, but it's stuff were wearing. I bought all these cute disney shirts that I had saved for vacation and now with days to go, I'm wearing them!! Why??
At our
walmart you can get the cheapy ones for .99

.
Brook, where in Walmart can I find the ponchos? I saw some for $5 but not the 99 cent ones.
My DH would never wear a poncho (he won't even wear flip flops!) I bring a small umbrella for him. I'll wear the poncho, I don't care! I bought DS4 the Cars rain jacket that's very similar to a poncho but is a jacket. Target sold them for $7.99. I know I'll never be able to fold that thing up again! Thank goodness for ziplock bags! I also had to buy the rainshield for our double stroller so DS1 is covered.
Lesly, I found it very handy to have a foldable totebag or some sort of bag for all the stuff in your stroller basket. On some boats and on the buses you have to fold your stroller and empty out the basket. Please do this prior to the bus arriving or you will get looks and stares!

I have a small Totes foldable shopping bag that I keep in the basket and when we approach the buses I shove all our junk from the basket in there.
I just found at CVS, they have clip on battery powered fans for $4.99. This is a must for the little one. I just use it when they nap it keeps them cool. Don't forget to bring extra batteries.
Annette: Happy Anniversary! Ours was 9 years this past Saturday!
Have a great day everyone. It's going to be 80 degrees today! I'm taking my little one to the playground. Hopefully the sprinkler will be on.

PS I forgot to announce my DS1 (who's almost 16 months) finally starting walking on his own this weekend!!! He just wouldn't let go and all of a sudden he's walking everywhere!! I'm so happy!!! I was getting worried he wouldn't be walking for our vacation. I really want him to be able to walk to the characters, play in the sprinkler etc... I'm so happy!!! That's why I'm off to the playground!!!
