Tinkaroo- we are booked for Dec.15 - 18th in RPC!We may change the dates around a little if I can get a bounceback deal but I've not ever been able to get one for RPC. Has anyone else ?

At this point, I'm just thrilled to have a AAA rate! Those seem to come out better on the CL level rooms, anyway, vs. AP rates, since the AAA rate is a % off, while AP is a flat amount usually.Welcome back Lindsay!!! Hats off to you and Kristin - this is the one area where I will most certainly fail my children. Like my mother before me, I think my kids will become their father's children where vomiting is concerned. 
Wow, I guess I missed a lot in a week. We are back and had a great time at the GF. We didn't get the lodge tower room.We almost didn't even get SL. When we got our parking pass it didn't have the C on it, and wondered what was up with that, maybe they changed and don't put it on any more.
Then we get out of the car and no concierge CM's to meet us.
After some checking said we had requested a MK view room. I insisted we booked SL, and they said no I didn't. Fortunately I had my confirmation letter that clearly stated outer lodge club level. I almost didn't take it since we have never needed it. I knew I was listed in the system right since IPO made our ADR's and booked the Wlidlife Discovery Excursion. After they saw the confirmation letter they went to the concierge room assigner to see what they could do. I was afraid they would up grade us to RPC and I would like it better and have to stay there from now on.
Maxie, wow....I would have been tense.I am glad they found you a good room in SL. That happened to me at the S/D. They got all huffy with me and insisted I was wrong
I ALWAYS bring my paperwork now. That time was just a fluke I had it w/me but now I make it a point. I have never heard of it happening at a WDW hotel though. Thanks for the heads up.
I KWYM. I will always bring all of my paperwork from now on. This is the first time I actually had the confirmation letter, usually only have the papers with confirmation numbers. That would not have done any good. They actually told me to go into the lobby to check in. They didn't believe me that I would not have booked an MK view room, and that I booked SL. They didn't even try to check into it until I gave them my confirmation letter, then their attitude completely changed.
Hopefully I'll get to see Liz and Siobhan when I am down there. Siobhan will be at 1900 PF 10 minutes after us, so I am pretty sure we'll bump into her )

It's a girl thing - some of us like to believe we wear a size or two smaller than we actually do - even in shoes. So in the movie, that character liked to SAY that she has a size 6 foot (dainty and petite), but is admitting that what she actually has is a size 8 foot.

I like to go to the Poly when i'm feeling 'common' I can be just a sloppy guy hanging out and letting the kids scream and run around. We all need that sometime...
I guess i'm only half-joking...I do enjoy the Poly its just nothing like the Grand
I also love when i hear families say the Poly is better...that means less crowds at the GF for us.
I had booked the poly but then conned her into the GF cause I told her princesses stay at the Grand
