Um well I could eat a whole bag in about 10 min..... especially when pregnant! I took the eating for two to a whole new level! :lmao: I LOVE oreos, esp. dunked in milk and slightly soggy! Um this is bad, I may make walmart run tonight! Thanks goodness for 24 hour super centers! LOL!

d@mn girl, when I was pregnant I would have eaten 4 BAGS of double stuff oreos!! :rotfl: Congrats on your will power!

What she said..... wait......... K how did you keep them from sticking to your a$$? You suck! ;)

i have not packed anything! I cleaned the house this afternoon.

I didnt tell many peeps but my gramps had a pacemaker put in yesterday and so far so good. Its been a crazy busy week and I am SOO GLAD its almost over.

Kelly, I hop he is on the road to recovery! My GF had a pacemaker for 20+ years! Actually had two, and they made such a difference in his quality of life! :thumbsup2

Ya, but does Costco sell the reduced fat version?:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Chan

Um skinny girls can afford to eat the regular kind! :rotfl:

See, told ya!

I eat one low fat Oreo and my pant size increases. :confused3 She eats bags of regular ones and still loooks great! :confused3

Ah, I know! I need to use lowfat milk too! Right?

Night girls, and thanks Lesly for making me crave O-R-E-O's! You suck too! ;)

Thanks! YOU have a great trip too! I would have LOVED to have stayed at the GF again but I with this being only our second trip to Disney, I know we need to try out other places. I am pretty sure that we'll always find our way back to the GF though. I've heard great things about the Poly pool and I think my boys will love it! I am not too familiar with the layout at the Poly yet. The Hawaii building is where the concierge lounge is, right?

Yes Hawaii is where the concierge lounge is located. I think I read you were staying in a suite I think that they are in a different building:confused3 Not sure though...Our second favorite hotel after the GF is the CR...my kids love it... (they love the GF too)the old game room was huge! (a kids dream come true:) The new one is nice too but not nearly as big...Very different from the GF but very nice:) We always find our way back to the GF too. Going to WDW is just a great family vacation...so glad we'll all be there soon:dance3: !!!

Blue Skies... we just booked the CR for next December. DS has been wanting to stay there ever since he first saw it when he was 2. I am OK with it since it is on the monorail, but DH doesn't care for it (he stayed there when he was a kid). I just wish it would feel more "Christmas-y" than it does :santa:

I havent been there around Christmas time in several years but it does seem that in the last few years they have taken things up a notch at the CR again...( when I was there at the holidays the lounge was nicely decorated-Xmas trees and all)...The new rooms are beautiful and well appointed (working computer right on the desk :) )...Was just there in May for a quick stay 12th floor Atrium Club. The new lounge has a beautiful MK view (they took out 3 rooms to do this) and has lots of comfy spots to eat relax and enjoy the Wishes and the EWP...also lots of nice pool activities...and in the evenings movies on the beach...overall very nice:) Cant imagine that you'd be disappointed...But as all of us GF lovers know you just can't help but compare...;)

cinderumbrella Just wanted to add that my kids enjoy the pool slide at the CR too and even though the pool isnt zero entry its very kid friendly lots of fountains etc.... but cant be sure about the:santa: holiday atmosphere...I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you choose:goodvibes

GREAT IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!

I love you so much right now for suggesting that!

Lesley - I have been trying to get and ADR for LeCellier for several days now and I finally got one today for a party of nine no less! Keep at it, and I'm sure you will get one for CP!

I'm with you, as I haven't packed a thing yet! We are supposed to head over to the MK the day we arrive - hopefully I'll be able to keep my eyes open after being up all night!! :rotfl:

Oreos with double stuff, YUM!!! :goodvibes I could eat the whole bag with a gallon of milk! :thumbsup2 I know what I'll be grabbing at Target tomorrow.

Morning gals!

Kelly~ I am glad to hear all is well. :grouphug: Ron's dad had a pacemaker put in 2 years ago and does really well with it. Enjoy your vacation and let us know how you like OKW.

I spent a lot of time yesterday catching up at work and switching some ADR's. I did book BBB for Christmas Day in the afternoon at MK. I am now thinking about changing to Downtown since I know MK will be super crazy. Anyone been to MK on Christmas Day? I know the girls will love it and they have been begging but if it is super crowded and we have to wait for an hour or more for our appt...dh is gonna be CRAZY! I just am not a fan of the trip to Downtown Disney. It seems like the buses are slow and it takes forever to get a bus to go back to your resort.

Has anyone ever been to both locations? Is one better than the other?

We have an ADR at 1900 later that day so the girls will be all dressed up.

I then snagged an ADR for Christmas Eve CP package in Morocco. This was about all they had left. I have never eaten here and it does not get very good reviews. I am going to keep trying. We may end up cancelling this but I wanted to have something just in case.

I wish I would quit changing things but that is what happens when you start planning so far in advance.

I just started planning next summers trip to BCV and Vero Beach. I am pretty excited about trying Vero.

Have a good day everyone!

I just read the posts on back to school shopping. We are going tomorrow morning.:headache: I am NOT a fan of this time of year. I am sure it will take two hours to pick out shoes for both girls.

I do have a lot of the school supplies. I have to agree the list is ridiculous. Last year the teacher was extremely picky and it took me forever. This year we have an awesome teacher and her list was short and sweet. I am pretty excited since I know Lexi is gonna have a great year!

Dawn~ Good luck with the student teaching.

Kristin~ That first day of kindergarten is tough but I agree with Channing...you will LOVE it and your son is gonna love it.

I did get an AP rate for the first night of our trip saving around $200. (thanks K :thumbsup2 . I wish they would extend the rates during our trip but I know it is wishful thinking. I am still on the fence about where we are staying. I have the one bedroom reserved on points at VWL but still have to pay about $2000 out of pocket for 4 nights that I was unable to get. (Dec 30-31 are impossible at BCV and I have to pay cash on the weekend) RPC is around $5000 (plus the $1000 for the two nights at BCV) and GV at GF would be around $3000 plus the $1000 for the nights at BCV. I am just at a loss here. I do like WL and I know I would love the one bedroom at Christmas and it is the cheapest but I really had my heart set on the GF. I guess I just feel bad spending an extra $3000-$4000 when I already own DVC. I can stay on points in July at the GF but I just do not think it will be the same as Christmas. (points are very high at GF during Christmas) Any advice??

Well~ I need to get to work so I can be gone tomorrow with the girls. I am excited about school starting but also a little sad. I love having them home but they have started fighting a lot and I can tell they are getting bored.

Boy...I am chatty this morning. Talk to ya all later! V :)

I missed so much around here yesterday!!! We went school shopping and errands running. I had 3 pairs of shoes to RETURN for Hannah because they "hurt" or "rubbed" somewhere on her feet. Yes, she was with me when I bought them. Yes, she tried them on in the store. Ugh. She is picky about her shoes and I hate for her to have uncomfy ones. She has a huge foot for a 5 yo girl, a size 1. :scared1: I made a huge Zappos order and none of those worked either. Finally, I ordered her some Merrells and I think those are our best option. Oh, and they have this black rubber mulch on their playground so I can forget about white shoes, fabric shoes, and any "cute" light colored shoes. They will be RUINED after one day. Seriously. The stuff stains clothes too. No fun.

One good thing is I don't have a supply list; all of that is included in tuition, as it SHOULD BE. :rotfl: K, I had to read your list twice! Foil! Glitter?! My SIL taught at a public school in New Orleans for a while and she had to bring her own toilet paper. The principal had a locked storage area that no one could enter. THAT's where all the supplies were, I bet. ;)

Dawn, you will do great with the student teaching! :cheer2:
Kelly, speedy recovery wishes to your Gramps. :grouphug:
Kelly, BlueSkies and Herecomesthesun, Lesley, Sheli, and M and P, ooooh, you are all so close!!!

Have a great day, everyone. Notice I did not mention all the Oreo talk. I am still on WW and can't just have 2 Oreos. I would eat the whole bag in 2 days. :upsidedow

I am pretty sure we are staying in the Tonga building, which has some concierge offerings but we will have to go over to Hawaii to the lounge for the full "concierge experience" I really need to study a map of the Poly or something! I'm gonna go look on one of the Disney sites to find a good Poly map!

REALLY????? This is SO encouraging to hear!!!! We still have a chance!!!!!!! Congrats on your score!

I agree Lesley. Keep trying. I just got Crystal Palace on Christmas Morning no less...so it can be done.

By the way~ I just called and switched ressies for the Candlelight Package to Teppan Eddo on Christmas Eve. I think we will enjoy this much more! We also booked this package the following Sunday when the entire family arrives. Oh well~ if we like the show I will see it again.:santa:

I also asked about BBB at DTD. There are openings the entire day. I kept the MK ressie just in case. I need to really think about this one.

Good Morning All!!

Lesley I bet there were lots of calories consumed last night with all of that oreo talk:rotfl: I know the Poly thread here has lots of good info but I think the most comprehensive Poly site is by Tikiman. It has maps and descriptions on each longhouse and alot of other info...Have you started to pack yet??

Arbonette god luck with weight watchers. IMHO that is a great program...Have done it myself...dosent just get you to lose weight, but how to eat in general:flower3:

Well its early I'm going to get some chores done before I start nagging everyone (again!!!) to get packed:rotfl:

Talk to you all later:flower3:

We have done the CP package twice :) The whole setting, music ,readers, it is just beautiful... and very moving...And to do it on Christmas Eve will be great...We ate saw a few countries and then went to see the show...

We are going to be a WDW during a few days of free dining which makes getting any last minute ADR's difficult, but we have been able to manage to get some...I say the same thing keep tyring:flower3:

Christmastime at WDW is just beautiful:)

Good Morning Everyone!!

The only thing that isn't a part of my kids uniform is the backpack so we shopped for them yesterday. Shoes, pants, socks, ties, sweater and gym uniform just all come in a box.

Kristin - I was sad when both my kids started kindergarten, but they had such a good time and enjoyed it so much it was hard to be so sad. Besides I got used to the free time myself.

Now I am so upset my son in starting High School!!! When did everyone get so old, while I never aged a day!!!:goodvibes

Kelly - Hope your Gramps has a speed recovery!!!
