Every time it clouds up or looks like rain I think, "Oh I hope the weather is better in Orlando" because you are there! Here's hoping the weather stays nice!

Chan- is it true that 12+ year olds can now take out a mouse boat by themself? DH would be with the boys but they would love to all get their own boats for an hour.

Too bad that all the cabanas are bring upgraded, I was hoping to use a free one for an hour or so since I packed our trip so full there is no time in the days to use one for 4+ hours...and I didn;t need the fridge, just shade

Hey!! THANKS guys for thinking of me!! Mandy and you with the weather!!! It started off ugl& y here when we arrivd, but it's been pretty decent...HOT during the sunny days, but then fairly OK in the eves or when it's cloudy. No really nasty storms since last week.

ANDREA!!! I measured the cute pink sequined pants!! OK...the 7/8 waistband is 21 inches. The length is 25 inches on the outside...top of waist to hemline..they are called "gouchos" but they fit Jojo like cropped pants. The weight for 7/8 is 46 to 68 lbs...i know - big span, but htat is that...the height for 7/8 is 47 to 53 inches. HOPE that helps!!!! Let meknow what size you think if you want me to see about size 6X?? With the Disney stuff I always go larger becuase i think it runs on teh skimpy side JMO. THey had the white wiht pinksplattered tank top that said something like "its;a ll about the princess"...and the pink tanks that said "crowns are always in style". I did this hours ago lol so maybe not remembering them exactly correctly, but I am the measurements!! made sure of that!!! I have seen the headbands around a lot but din't check the merc for them. Let me know what you want & i will buy it and send it to ya if you'd like.

i have to hit the hay!! going to get up and get jojo to the adv in cooking tomorrow at 10. that will be tough for us lazy butts.

Garada, I had a choice of this special room w/out the mk view or the mk view standard room. I thought for a week stay this would be great and then I heard the waterfall and thought...I can live with this! it's such a peaceful sound. It's a larger room on the 5th floor and i love it. I took lots of pics to post when i get back.

talk to ya all later!!! it was a busy but relaxing day. LTT was fun....Zack just about blew his crabby cover on HM with the girls....didn't last long but i saw a peek of the old Zack! Other than that one teensy glimpse he ahs been a complete pita. Total downer and this is IT. Last trip with a teen. It has been a real JOY having him with. NOT...so NOT. Unbelievably so not a joy.

Sheli, i have not been near the marina at all. I bet it is true though..I read it somewhere recently and then Princesses reported it.

Hey!!! Having a TA worked out great for me when YC overcharged us!!! Our FABU TA called the bozos and had it all taken care of. Saved me a bunch of aggravation.

Well....i have to go. I need to get myself ready for bed. I am tired.

On the cabanas...they have really "upped" the service! There is an assigned cabana hostess that does everything for you. EVERYTHING. She is your own personal almost butler type person. It is a very pampering experience...i hate that word haha...but it is nice. Everything is hassle free and just very relaxing.

LOL...i need to go!!

Hello all - I think you've figured out that I do visit this thread, but don't chime until I have something significant to say, so here goes...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHANNING!!!

I remember 42...when I still felt "wow, I'm in my 40's but I know I don't look it, right?!?!...Right?!?!?..." I recently turned 47, and I know it's starting to show. I'm just trying to forget that 50 (eek!) is just a few years away!

I'm going to keep visiting this thread as we continue the planning for our son's Wish Trip - staying at Give Kids the World for a week, then 3 nights at the GF...we're looking forward to going back for a 2nd trip as a family!

Hello All!! I (Evie) am a newbie to this thread. One of my best friends isVanessaand she is responsible for my disney addiction, along with getting me hooked on the DIS. I thought I would pipe in and say hi, because I do not want anyone to think I am a stalker (ha!!). I was laughing at her one day because I found her on this thread, and I felt like I was imposing on her conversations. I feel like I kind of know you ALL from her talking about all of you, she makes me laugh.
My story is, I am a Mom of 4 kids, my oldest is my only son(9), and the rest girls. There are days I feel very sorry for him, but he will make a good husband some day!! We recently bought into DVC at AKL, actually after our last trip in Feb. We decided to take a trip and bring MIL to help(her first trip ever) and get more bang for our buck, so we got 2 rooms at POP, and just spent a lot of time at the parks. Well, you can imagine where this is going, I have to admit that my husband was the author of the POP=Walmart post that got shut down. I know Vanessa said you all had a good laugh over that one. I don't think he has gotten back on the boards since, and leaves that up to me. Anyways, I think I called Vanessa on my way home from the airport and told her we were going to take the plunge because I could not vacation again like that, even though we had a great time. I just need to enjoy my surroundings also. I started my research on the DIS and have been hooked ever since
We actually leave for our summer trip in 2 weeks at the Fort, long story of why we are going there, but we are using our developer points. Our first trip to AKL is Jan 09 over MKL. We are doing the Deluxe plan this trip and are just doing the water parks, eating, and hanging out. We have 3 meals at GF, so I am excited. My first trip to the GF was when I was in high school, and I remember thinking that was the coolest place because I got my own robe, and I loved hanging out by the pool looking for boys. Oh, how times have changed!! Welll, good night all, and Hope I am welcome here.

Sounds like you are having a great time!! Cannot wait to see all of your photos. Dh keeps asking me why we keep going back to WDW and I say because there will come a time when the girls are going to be older and will NOT want to go back!

He will probably take his kids to WDW one day and I am sure he will never forget the memories you have created over the years even though he is having a hard time showing it!
