I'm all caught up.
Amy: 2 weeks.:woohoo: :yay:

Lcaemom: I'm thinking we need a wii fit, but I'm afraid of what my mii would look like.:rotfl2:

Mare: My DS's birthday is Feb 5th too. Fat free half and half, you are good. I can't give up cream in my coffee. I'll eat WW and Lean Cuisine dinners forever, but don't mess with my coffee.:lmao:

Marvel: :scared: Guess I'll cross HRH off my list.

PrincessPaczki and Kristin We can all wait together for Mickey mail. 40% off would be nice.

Deb: Thanks for the PD. I haven't given up yet. I'll keep watching my mail.

Chan: I hate the treadmill too. Mine has been folded up in the guest room since Oct when my sister came. We were getting more company in Dec, so I figured I may as well leave it folded up until they left.:rotfl2: I can't go fast on the treadmill, I get dizzy. I can put the incline up, but I have to go 2mph or less and can't stay on it long. I do ride my bike a lot though.

Kristin, feel better soon.

Hi everyone
we are finally home! The drive back wasn't bad except for some traffic in GA that lasted about 1.5 hours.

Its crazy busy at work but i just wanted to say hi.
Welcome Home Marvel! Can't wait to hear all about your trip!
Hey, did you know they let dogs stay at the Hard Rock Hotel?
I didn't.
:scared1:
Did you know some of those dogs urinate in the hallway?
I didn't but i got to see it.
:scared1: :scared1:
Did you know turn down service knocks at your door after 10:30 pm?
I didn't
:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
Did you know there is on demand tv which includes tv shows and movies? Oh yeah and also p.orn movies which have titles and descriptions that were ...just....pretty bad.
I didn't
:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
oh yeah almost forgot...
Did you know the minibar contains an intimacy kit which contains a clean up towellette
I didn't.
:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

:faint:

Wendy......I'm with you.....too weird about all that stuff at HRH :scared:. I was just thinking today that I should price the HRH for 2 nights prior to our week stay at the GF in June.....but it doesn't seem too appealing to me after hearing Marvel's report . And wouldn't ya know that I can get airfare for $83 per person on 6/17 when 6/19 is $159 :scared1:.

Maxie......I'm sure you'll get your 40% postcard :cool1: :cool1:. Have you tried calling Disney :confused3? Some people have posted that they've called and a 40% off code was attached to their name .

Does anyone know if a TA can inquire about codes attached to names or does the person themselves have to call for that?????

Deb :upsidedow

All you pass holders waiting on postcards check your email in box! My sister just called and said she got a email with the 40% offer...... I checked and I got one too! She has not gotten a post card AT ALL and her last name begins with "A". Oh and the email has a Pin # on it so it is not a general offer.

SO now I have a post card AND a email with two different PINS! Does that mean I can book two different trips????? :confused3

BTW: The card came in my husbands name too CHAN.

Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. You got 2 and I didn't even get one. Did anyone else get an e-mail? Were the dates the same? Sounds like you could book 2 trips if you have 2 different numbers.:confused3

Hey I want a 40% off code...Come on Disney PICK ME, PICK ME!!!

Kristin...I hope I didnt get you sick!! :scared: Get better soon:goodvibes

Chan...maybe a Teensy Weensy Itsy Bitsy

Wendy...I watched the SNL last night...the Payton Manning one was one of my favs!

ok i have to finish catching up.....

Mare: My DS's birthday is Feb 5th too. Fat free half and half, you are good. I can't give up cream in my coffee. I'll eat WW and Lean Cuisine dinners forever, but don't mess with my coffee.:lmao:

Wow! his first birthday buddy!!! Don't you hate that it usually falls on or around Super Bowl Sunday! :headache: We could care less, but inviting friends and family over for cake always turns into a superbowl party. We don't follow football, DH is Italian and watches Soccer :rotfl2: We watch the superbowl for the commericals! :rotfl:

I found a good ff half and half that tastes like the full fat version. :thumbsup2 I had a WW Swedish Meatballs entree for lunch! :rotfl2:

Mandy: I love the way you posted :scared1: !!! That was so cute!!! :cutie:

Deb: Wow! You can still find fares under $100!! Way to go!! I'm happy I grabbed $104. I wish Jet Blue would allow us to be flexible and change flights without a $100 fee per ticket. I booked our return on Friday and now wish I booked Sunday. DS4 asked me where does Diego live "which he really means is in which park can we meet him :rotfl:" I think a night or two at the Nick Hotel would have been fun. The boys are such big Diego fans. He also asked where Elmo lived so DH wants me to look into Sesame Place for a weekend this summer!! :rotfl2: Let's not even discuss those characters that cannot be found at a theme park! :rotfl:

Wendy: What I meant was the Hard Rock in Vegas is known for being wild and crazy. You'd think that the Orlando HRH would be more family oriented being in a theme park. But it doesn't sound like it is. I was there 8 years ago, I have no idea what's the same and what has changed but when they told us it's supposed to be a replica of a rock star's mansion, everything then fit into place for us. We didn't get that Disney-family feeling from them at all. We've never returned and have no plans to in the future. Just didn't care for it.

Anyone ever stay at the Hyatt Grand Cypress? We saw it on the Travel Channel with Samantha Brown. The resort is huge and looks very relaxing. There's a ton to do onsite. It looks like a great place to stay a day or two to relax away from the parks. I think it's located right behind MK. They say you can see the fireworks from the balconies.

Okay, one kid down for the night, one to go
Mare

Oh Wendy I saw that last night!!! OMG...we were laughing soo hard! The Adam Sandler and Chris Farley "beer" commercial had me having to tinkle!!! I do want to see that reunion of Charm School....Must look into it! I saw some of Confessions of a Teen Idol on repeat today....How sad for some of them...Christopher Atkins...ahhh and he still looks great! What I dont get is why Scott Baio hosting and not a participant??? :rolleyes1 Sorry....meam..the claws came ou!

Yes they can and I bet your TA emailed you :rotfl:

She's the BEST.....can't get anyone better :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2.

Mare......I know.....can you believe $83???? That is way more than we've ever paid in all our times going to Disney but in today's economy and the way fuel prices were, I'm surprised to see them that low :rolleyes1. Of course that's leaving the 17th rather than the 19th (which is our arrival date)....so hopefully Friday the 19th along with the return of the 26th will come down from $159+ :wizard:. We still have time but I get antsy to get my airfare early because I like everything to be done and planned far ahead of time . We've got my parents, brother and sister going with us but they've already given me the go ahead to buy when I think it's a good deal.....I'm always the one everybody calls when it comes to finding good airfare :rotfl: :rotfl:. But your $104 is still a great deal from some others that are out there . We've only flown SWA once and that was this past March.....but you can't beat their no fee policy as far as changes go :goodvibes.

Dawn.....Are you trying to say we TALK TOO MUCH :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:. Are you feeling any better :confused3?

Mandy.....WTG on the passholder codes :woohoo: :woohoo:.

Deb :)

Oh yeah...for anyone interested....I called the doctor again and they said to take Mucinex DM for a few days and call back if I wasnt any better....:confused3 I will give it a try

My doc tries to pull that same thing...take this OTC that will do no good and then call me in 3 days.
Now I call, and lie! I am SO SICK! I HAVE BEEN SICK FOR XXX WEEKS! whatever it takes to make them see me and fix it. (I know that seems wrong but they tick me off. I swear it is all about insurance and billing bs.)

I hope you feel better soon! No fun to be sick, especially when it is 22 dergees out. UGH!

Mare

The birthday party falling on Super Bowl Sunday was only a problem when he was little. Now we just go out to dinner and it is great because the restaurants are empty, no problem getting a table.

I had a WW bagel for lunch and turkey Lean Cuisine for dinner, but cream in my DD coffee.:rotfl2:

Evening everyone. Just heard the news, Julie from the Podcast had her baby. His name is Ferris Patrick Martin. Congratulations!:cool1: :thumbsup2

good morning everyone!
I am getting Shawn off to school. I have to start more laundry and do some work.

Good Morning Gals and Marvel!

I am an early bird today...Went to bed last night at 5:30!! Woke up once watched tv for a bit and back to sleep...I got an awful headache on Sunday night...still had it yesterday am...but did some running around anyway:sad2: and by about 3pm I was in agony...full blown migraine:headache: ...feeling better today but its still not gone...

Now i'm just relaxing enjoying my DD coffee with regular milk:rotfl: :surfweb: and chatting...hopefully staring a the computer wont make me feel worse:confused3 I'm almost out of tylenol!!!

Mare What kind of ff 1/2 &1/2 do you use...anything that I've tried has tasted pretty yukky...

Marvel What an experience:scared: I stayed at the HRH last year for just a few days didnt see any dogs...and must have missed the other stuff!!Maybe they dont have the extra "amenities" in the cheapo regular rooms:confused3

Maxie I want a code too(so I can justify booking another trip!!!)...acutally though for anyone who has already booked with the 4/3 package the room discount equals about 42% so if your planning to go for the 7 nights its a real good deal...I have a treadmill...I use it SOMETIMES:rotfl: I dust it ALOT:laughing: maybe an exercise bike would be better...not sure...do you like the bike better?

Kristin Wondering where you were..strep throat hurts like he..!!Glad you are on the mend...

Mandy TWO discount offers...they want you back!!

Deb I have not gotten my airline tickets yet:confused: I like to wait just a little longer...because for most airlines once you buy the tickets as we all know you are locked in unless you want to pay a huge change fee:mad: except SW of course...I have been checking theirs too...nothing great yet...

PrincessPaczki How nice for Julie..congrats to her...:goodvibes

Shopping gals did anyone get the new LL Bean home catalog... lots of great bedding and decorating accents..throw pillows...very nice:) and RL sale too got a flyer...winter sale event...in stores and online...up to 65% off!!...No shopping for me I'm sticking to a budget.... ;)

Going to take it easy today.. want this darn :headache: to go away...talk to you all later:flower3:

Chan isnt gonna be happy

Craig Ferguson Announces His Secret Wedding

Craig Ferguson made a surprise announcement on his CBS Late Late Show Monday night: He got married over the holidays.

Ferguson, 46, wed his longtime girlfriend Megan Wallace Cunningham, an art dealer.

"The wedding took place in Vermont, where they have legalized gay civil unions – and I married a woman," said the astounded Ferguson, who showed off his wedding ring and announced, "It's not just bling."

"But," he joked about the ceremony, "I am European, so I was both the groom and the maid of honor."

Looking for Nickname
On the show, Ferguson showed off a picture of his new wife and himself (wearing a kilt) from the wedding, whose backdrop was layered with snow.

He also suggested he and Megan get a trendy nickname, like "Cragan," the way Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are sometimes called "Brangelina."

The Scottish comedian has been married twice previously – briefly in the '80s and also to a gym owner, Sascha, whom he divorced in 2004. The two have a son, Milo, 7.

Now that he's married, Ferguson said during his monologue, he is being informed that he needs to live by a new set of rules. "People are telling me I can't flirt with guests anymore."

Taking issue with the edict, Ferguson said that simply wasn't true. "If we ever get George Clooney on this stage, all bets are off."
