Hope everyone is having a good Thanksgiving. We have just gotten home from my parents and I'm stuffed.

I've tried to get reservations at the GF twice today already for next Saturday and they are booked. We were going to drive to the top of Florida, but DH said that we should just keep on going (what's 3 more hours). I called this morning, and then a few minutes ago. I'll keep trying each day until then, maybe something will open up. If not, we'll stay off site that night and drive to the Grand that Sunday morning. Have a good one - Lisa.

We had a nice dinner at DH's parents and then had a nice time at my parents afterward . Now on to shopping tomorrow .


Traci.......I LOVE the Dallas Cowboys . How did the Sooners do ?? Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving with your guests .


Wendy.......I didn't realize your trip was so close......how exciting . Only 4 more days .

Deb, They don't play until Saturday but I just had to put it out there! Thanksgiving turned out very nice. I ended up using real sweet potatoes and my casserole was so yummy. DH was even impressed

It's 6:05 a.m. and I'm up, showered, and ready to go shopping . DH and DS got up at 5:00 to go hunting so I figured I might as well get up too . I'm on my first cup of coffee but my second one will be in the travel mug so I can have me as much caffeine as I can get .

We had a very nice Thanksgiving. I wasn't sure how it was going to be since we lost 3 family members this year. DS's DGF's family came and that made it much easier and helped fill the table. It would have been very wierd if they didn't come. Anyway, all the fall decorations are down and I am putting up the Christmas decorations. It is panic time. I have less than 2 weeks to get ready for our trip and get all of the Christmas stuff done before we go. When I book these December trips it sounds like a good idea, and then when the time comes I say, what was I thinking!

Deb: Have fun shopping. DS and his DGF were going to go shopping at 5 this morning. Didn't happen. I knew he wouldn't get up.

Traci: Glad your dinner went well. I knew it would.

Good morning!!

LOL....I was on my laptop yesterday....just was going to say HI and check in....and Lucy came and pulled the plug. They all laughed at me and busted me......so that was that. I was in the kitchen ANYWAY so I figured what the heck..... But they all thought shame on me for being on the computer on Thanksgiving.

Lisa, I hope you get that day added. I can't believe there is NOTHING!

We did our tree yesterday.....omg what a project. ALL DAY AFFAIR.....and then today we have so so so much to do around the house.....I have too many Christmas things....tomorrow the lights outside.

I am NOT going to the store today....I didn't have coffee this morning and do not want to venture out....it's a green tea day.

Morning everyone
hope you all had a great day yesterday!

We had an almost quiet day...
at 6pm we started watching tv in the bedroom and that was it for me. I was out fast and woke up at 11pm and then did some shopping online instead of heading for the store.

Bought some new luggage for our trip..the ones we have now have been falling apart for a while

Marvel...have you been busy helping Mrs Marvel get everything ready for Thanksgiving...??

Hey all!

Well I am back....I have been up since 4:30 AM!!! I was at Walmart at 5 and got a lcd tv and then was at target....OMG! CRAZY MADHOUSE! I have never seen it like that...I think it was because the toysrus sale was crapo this year?! After that I met up with my step mother and went to the local toy store and hallmark and out to lunch. I didnt get a ton but still had fun! I need a nap!

S~OK we just got back from our morning shopping.....we were out at 4am at Carsons, Macys, Target, Joann, Kohls, SportsAuthority, breakfast at Egg Harbor, and back to Kohls...whew! Im toast! Got great deals and it was really dead.
Now DD hasn't been to bed yet..she went to the outlet mall all night then off to lots of stores....

Deb hopefully you had a good day at Woodfield and Maggianos....

Chan im getting yelled at right now for being on here! Hey I want to go to Bolt and no one will go with me here! WAAAAA

The decorating is almost done. I can't put out too much this year, Nala is helping. I had a few very small empty boxes wrapped for decoration and she opened them already, The tree is up, the lights work. I haven't decorated it yet. I have a feeling Nala will have a great time taking the ornaments off. Not sure how this is going to work.

BlueSkies, The energy came from sugar overload. I have more than one GF ornament.

Marvel My DH is very helpful too. It works out much better that way.

OMG!! TWIST SOMBODY"S ARM BECAUSE

BOLT WAS SO GOOD!!!!!

I would see it again!!!!! Jojo and I laughed and cried and cried and laughed.....I LOVED that movie!!!! It was one of the best family movies I have seen in a LONG LONG TIME!!!!!!! IT WAS SOOOOO GOOOD!!!!

AND!! You know what else was exciting?!?!?!!??! They advertised the movie "The Pink Panter 2".....and guess what?!?!?! It comes out February 6th!!!!! I WILL BE IN WDW FEB 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Evening All


Shopping was fun but Woodfield was alot crazier this year than in years past . I sure didn't see any signs of us being in a recession . Had a great lunch at Maggiano's .....I'm still stuffed . I didn't do much as far as Christmas shopping but I did find DS a suit for Homecoming next Saturday . We don't have football out here in the boonies so they have Homecoming for basketball . He needed it all.....suit, shirt, socks, shoes.....and I got a great deal on everything.........so I'm pretty happy .

Chan......Glad you liked the movie . That stinks about the Pink Panther 2 opening while you're at WDW . Hopefully you can catch it when you get back .

I used to work at a little boutiquey shop there about 20 years ago...Laura Caspari. It was upscale accessories. I know that place like the back of my hand still....I just don't like going there!!!!

LOL on the "Pink Panther"!! I don't care that I will miss it....I just LOVED that they are advertising movies coming out right when I will be at the GRand Floridian!! Makes it seem closer KWIM?!!?!?
