I went out several times today and also did my trees.

Morning all! I had a very nice Thanksgiving and got up yesterday morning at 4:30 and shopped, shopped and shopped. Target was crazy but got some really good deals! We then went to the Galleria in St. Louis and had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Lots of fun. I did some damage at the White House Black Market. I love that store! I have to give that deposition this week so I figured I might as well be dressed well and then I always feel better.

Glad everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday Kristin!!

On a sad note...
I just read about a Walmart worker in NY who was killed by the mob when the doors opened on Friday morning. He was trampled to death. When they told shoppers they had to leave, there had been a death, some said "NO! I've been her since Thursday night!" Isn't that so sad

On a sad note...
I just read about a Walmart worker in NY who was killed by the mob when the doors opened on Friday morning. He was trampled to death. When they told shoppers they had to leave, there had been a death, some said "NO! I've been her since Thursday night!" Isn't that so sad

I saw that! DF and I were commenting how terrible that is. I can't think of anything on this earth that I would need badly enough to run over other people and trample them to death. DF said "wouldn't you help someone up if you knocked them down?"

Kind of reminds me when we went to see Tinkerbell. It was awful trying to get in line (we had been waiting at rope drop at Toon Town). Anyway my DH was putting up the strollers and saw this crowd swarm around me and the kids. I grabbed them tight and pulled my daughter up to my hip. I couldn't believe how stupid people were acting. It was gross.

Morning all.

OMG Traci that is SICK. Just unbelievable.......so sick and sad. I am shocked that people behave that way. I read the article you linked to...... It's really disturbing. Such a tragedy.

It's almost 11 here and my family is still sleeping!!! Zack worked til after 2 am last night...so of course I was awake until he was HOME. So I am a late riser.

I watched "Christmas in Connecticut" last night.....I LOVE THAT MOVIE. I love old Christmas movies. The house is still a wreck with Xmas stuff around and in bins that I have to put out. Plus with the kids home the place just gets messy anyway.....there are like 10 pairs of shoes and boots in the entryway.... Is it Monday yet?

Well.....it's pretty here today. Maybe a dog walk and lights outside.......

It's almost 11:30 and I can't believe I'm just NOW getting on the computer . I've been up since around 7:30 but things have been crazy around here this morning and I just haven't had the chance to check in .


Traci......I read that article from the link you provided.....that is quite disturbing . I can't believe how people can be so inconsiderate and ignorant to act like animals for a stupid sale and then have the nerve to say they're not leaving because they had been in line since the day before . That story is so sad .


Chan........I can't believe the deals I got yesterday either . Everything at Penney's was 60% off . I just didn't want to spend a fortune on a suit for DS because he is still growing and I know it won't be long before the darn thing doesn't fit him anymore .....so I really hated to spend alot......but I knew I had to get something so I'm glad I found good deals . It was just over $200 for everything.......and the suit coat alone was $200 regular price . So I think I did pretty good . I have thought about the SWA thing.....just not sure how doable it is . Did you decide anything ????

Hi Ladies!
Sorry I have been absent this week. Hubby is home for 5 days strait, and even though I complain when he is at work all week, he makes me nuts when he is here For someone who is gone all the time he sure can pick and pick at us about the "mess" we make here. "Um, you (husband) try 4 kids, alone, 6 days a week honey, lets see how messy it is!" (I can't wait for February 5th! Let's see if the kids even get fed while I'm gone.)

I can't believe the Wal-Mart staffer getting trampled, there is NOTHING I want badly enough to kill for it. People are disgusting!

Shopping yesterday was fun! I didn't neeed much but I still managed to go over my budget for the day LOL...never met a sale I didn't love.

Then I went to a local resale store and found the perfect desk for my 8yo. Solid wood, student desk with 4 drawers. It just needs sanded and re-stained. For $35 I saw an unfinished new one in the paper yesterday for $250. . He will love it, and I love the great price.

Gotta go grocery shopping now, back later. After I get the house clean- 6 people home, 24 hours in a row= messy house! UGH!!!

I just got done ordering some things online so my Christmas shopping has officially begun . I bought a few things for both my DSs, something for DH's niece and 3 out of his 4 nephews . I just love online shopping because the items come right to your door .

Just read that story about the worker in Walmart (this is why I DONT watch the news...) what a tragedy

Shelli I have a problem sticking to the budget too...hard as I try What a buy on that desk though While your DH is home complaining about the mess-just think soon he will be home ALONE with the kids and the mess and you'll be at the GF....

Hey all!

Super psyched! yesterday I went to Home Depot and asked if they by chance had any $50 trees left from Black Friday! Well they told me no but they would check another store. While she was another sales girl came over and said did you want white or colored lights and because I have small children, I said color and she said it is your lucky day! They had one more in color!!! Whooo Hoo! I just put it up and it is great! Even DH said it is real nice! Now to decorate it...

We have to go to a parade today! I do love a good parade! My kids get sooo excited!

I called Disney again this morning about adding a room for the GF this Saturday, she said she had something for $1,500 - I told her I'd have to pass on that. We will be driving in, probably get there around 7 or 8 so it was not worth it. I was able to book a 1 bedroom villa at Saratoga Springs for $427. Has anyone ever stayed there? I know we will just be sleeping there, then getting up Sunday and driving over to the GF so it should be fine. Hope everyone is having a good Sunday, it is rainy and yucky here today. - Lisa.

Maxie.....Keep that spring countdown going . The weather hasn't been too bad here the last couple of days but we're due for some snow either tonight or tomorrow and into Tuesday (I think) . The temps have been bearable but who knows what's coming .

Lisa I think SSR sounds like a great choice as opposed to $1500 for less than 24 hrs

tete WTG on the tree!! We have always had colored lights on our tree until this year -we tried white lights for the first time...I'm undecided on what I like best...I do love the way the colored lights reflect on the MANY Disney ornaments...

Kelly How many things have you done already this morning-while I sit here in my pjs....

It is rainy here today too....at least its not snow (sorry Marvel!)

Well the weather report is calling for 2-4 in of snow today..OH come on! Its not even Dec yet Last year was bad enough....we had enough snow on Dec 1 we had a snow day! Maxie we need that spring countdown!!!!
