Hi Everyone!

No cooking dinner tonight... too much cooking for tomorrow to even think about it... its a sandwich night...

Deb peanut blossom cookies...mmmm sounds good...you know if you are going to talk about making something that sounds so good you a gonna have to share that recipe...please

I'm taking a little break from all of the preparations...a little time to relax (and Dis a little )

The kids are all home (making a mess )but I'm looking foward to the long weekend too...

Did anyone read about being Disney having hotel check in online from home I guess kind of like the airlines....less and less personal service or contact....not sure I like that...not sure when it is supposed to start either....

Hey all!

We bought the tree...it's super pretty 8.5 ft tall and Frasier Fur so it has the softy short needles & the retro Xmas tree look . Now to remember for a whole darn month to water it. That is where I bomb out. I turn a tree into a MEGA fire hazzard by the middle of December every year. I get scared to even plug in the lights.

My kids want 100% family time tomorrow *geesh...imagine* ....no me on the computer or reading or whatever I like to do ....I have to play games and we will decorate the tree and cook etc.

Have you guys ever heard of Special K cookies? OMG they are to die for....i haven't made them in about 20 years!! My roommate in college gave me the recipe...and I finally FOUND IT!!! It was STUCK to the back of another one ...sticky gooey cookies = sticky gooey recipe card. The girls and I are going to make some tonight after dinner. They are in for a TREAT. I am probably the only dork that thinks they are unique...you've probably all heard about them....but it will be interesting if I still - after 20 years think they are ALL THAT.

BlueSkies.......Peanut blossoms are yummy . I make them for my brother every year for his birthday and for every holiday....they are his fave . You may already know what they are......you can make them from scratch but I take the easy way out and cheat . I buy the Pillsbury peanut butter cookie dough, tear off pieces and roll into balls.......roll them in sugar......place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. When done, place a Hershey kiss in the middle .........very easy and VERY GOOD . I'm wiped out after all the baking I did today . But now I can relax .


Chan......You found a tree....YAY . Have fun decorating it tomorrow with the family . I'll only be around in the morning for a short time since we have to go to my inlaws and then to my family afterwards . Good luck trying to squeeze in some Dis time tomorrow . Have a nice family day .

I just finished making a cucumber noodle salad, now if I can remember to stir it every once in a while. The only other thing I've been asked to do are the eggs and the sweet potato casserole, and I'll do them in the morning. I hope everyone has a safe and fun Thanksgiving.

I've been busy (well excpt for my several DIS breaks ) and you know where my DH is... He tells me to let him know when I need some help...

Probably no computer time tomorrow-I guess its rude to be online with a house fill of company...

I just said to DH that I havent been on the computer all day and I am starting to get the shakes....quick someone say "wicked"! Did I mention I need a drink?!

Mando...hate to be Debbie Downer but my BFF had a weimerwhatever and had to give her back because he was WICKED hyper and not so good with her son. What I will say is that it wasnt a new puppy when they got him so maybe that is different. Real pretty dog though! Good luck with the decision!

I just got the most adorable outfits on ebay for my DD5 , i had a bidding war that when down to the last few seconds....... I am a ebay snipper so I won! When it is gymboree I play for keepsy! Now i have to go snipping for matching outfits for dd's 2&3! FUN!

WE put up our Christmas tree and the lights don't work but we got some wire cutters and DH got them off and we just strung our own....... why get rid of a great tree We like how we put on lights anyways, we really get them on and all the way to the back of the branch! The light on this tree were scarce so it is just better! I do wish i would have got a skinny tree until we are able to move! This is a big tree for our house...........

Where are you when i need to chat? Did you get my message.....i called the house and this time it was not from the GF! All systems are go, we are gonna be at WDW for 4 days!

We are still talking about it! The thing about those dogs is they need a lot of physical time outside........ they need plenty of fetch and running time to keep them from jumping to much and chewing up stuff. Can you tell we have been researching. We are gonna wait till after the 15th, we cant get a dog and then take off for 4 days........ so we have tome to think.

DH keeps telling me Boxers are the best for kids......IDK I cant fall in love with those faces....they are so ugly!

I will have to say I knew this was coming...... DH & DS have been pushing for a dog so i knew it was just a matter of time. I am kinda warming u p to the idea and I have even caught my self awing at cutie's i am looking at online from the SPCA.

No...I didn't even have a glass of champagne yet.....but I AM GONNA!!!!

NO! Special K cookies are not crack!! LOL...BUT....once you try one you might swear there is some in the recipe.
I didn't make them last night....so I will SOON....and I will share the recipe with you guys if they are as good as I remember them.

They are a sticky concoction of peanut butter, corn syrup, choc and butterscotch chips and special ks.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm......

Hi, Siobhan! HOw's the knitting?!?!? You done with that doggy sweater yet? I heard the same thing about Weimer whats too.

Mandy....CHECK OUT NEWFIES!!!!! I have NEVER EVER known such an amazing kind gentle dog. She even tries to feed my kids.....she puts her cookie treats under their pillows.....when I give her roast beef or chicken she offers it to Jojo first!!! She is AMAZING. Unreal AMAZING....Like Lassie AMAZING. Super smart...it is incredible. They are unbelievably smart and intuitive. Nana was a NEWFIE!!!!! They were used in Victorian times as nannies to kids!!! It's a fact.

Anyway.....so I LOVE LUCY is on TV and I got to sneak in a post.
