I am cooking dinner and my 3 yo asked what I was cooking and I told her i was baking fish ....... My 2 yo comes running in and falls down on the kitchen floor wailing "no not fishy, no not fishy"

We take her to walmart every Sunday night all alone while my other 3 are at AWANAS and she spends almost and hour watching the fishes. In fact all she talks about is fish these days........ I think i just traumatized her so I better tell her it is chicken!

Reminds me of when my sister told my dd5 that the chinese was kitty cats and doggies....... guess what she wont eat WE call it oriental food now to get her to eat it!

You're right about the weather...there are really basically 2 seasons...and it dose s**k...!!!

Mandy, I tell Jojo everything is chicken. It's all the same. SHe is the mega picky eater....but she eats "chicken". I HATE FISH...don't want them near me....swimming near me or dead on a plate. Can't stand the stuff.... OMG about the CHinese food!!! That would turn me off!!!! I do NOT TOUCH LAMB EVER.....when I was like 5 yrs old my cousins had a farm and they only had two sheep...."Mary and Joseph"...and they were slaughtered for Easter. How disgusting.

Chan......I was just kidding .......I know you're not a troublemaker . I just can't believe how NASTY some of them got over there.......WOW . But it was funny.......I couldn't help but laugh after awhile because of how crazy it got .

DH always used to tell DS that EVERYTHING was chicken because he's sooo picky . As he got older he realized that wasn't the case . But we also like lamb.....especially DH and DS13 . I'm half Greek and lamb is a BIG thing with Greeks . My mom usually makes lamb for Thanksgiving (along with turkey) and DS13 can't wait......he just loves lamb . DH can't have lamb without Feta cheese......which is always a must at holiday dinners. I told him he acts like HE is the one who's Greek and not me .

That sounds like Chicago's seasons......I think that goes winter, summer, and road construction .

I'm trying to figure out what BTTBC means but I'm not having any luck .

Speaking of a comedian.....do any of you gals watch Jeff Dunham???? OMG......I just love him.....he is absolutely HILARIOUS . He was on Comedy Central last night and the show was a riot .....although I didn't see all of it because it was on the same time as the Dallas Cowboy game......and I had to watch my Boys . I have 2 of his DVDs and I can't stop laughing for hours after watching him .

Evening everyone!

I've been so busy today, shipped off a box of baby supplies to WDW, had to take DS1 to the doctor for a check up, then had to buy him new shoes - those little feet are growing so fast!!

I just have to tell you this quick story:

DH decides NOW (7 days away) that he wants to dine at O'hanas. Well, I had an ADR back in July for it, but he told me to cancel it. So now, at this late date, he wants to add O'hanas. He's decided he doesn't want to go back to Liberty Tree Tavern (does not care the characters are leaving) again as we just ate there in June. Well, I've been calling and the CM's practically laugh at me when I ask for an ADR at O'hanas!

So I just sent the BWI-IPO office an email asking them to "work their magic" Within 15 minutes I get an email they got me an ADR at O'hanas at 5:30 pm !!! I'm convinced it's worth to stay CL just for the IPO!!!!

I'm also starting to think the restaurants are not "completely booked". This is the second "sold out" restaurant they got us into.

When I booked DH and DS4 on the Discovery Wildlife Excurison in AK, I wanted the 1pm tour, but it was sold out. There were only 2 seats left for the 10am so we took it. But 10:05 am we had an ADR at Tusker House that I did not want DS4 to miss. Galo, from the BWI-IPO, called me within hours telling me he personally called the manager of the Tusker House and was able to move our ADR to 8:30 am.

Seriously, how do they do this??? There has got to be tables just for CL guests. I've read posts from people who always stay CL and make no ADRs ahead of time and just play it day to day. Well, if I knew the CL had access like this, I would have too!

Ugh, my munckins are still up! I got so excited seeing that email from IPO I "forgot" about the little ones

Mandy: That's too funny about the fish!

Chan: I should start telling my DS4 that everything is "chicken" he'll only eat chicken nuggets!

Oh, Chan, did you happen to get your gingerbread house recipe from the GF? Someone posted about the GF giving out recipes on the other GF thread. I immediately thought of you! If they're giving it out, I'd love a copy. My DS4 would like to build one from scratch - maybe next year! When I have a large kitchen to spread out in For now, he'll be happy with that Gingerbread Train from Bed Bath (that I have yet to buy!!)

That is some old news - how did that get brought up again? It did go on for about 6 pages! My one post about it was that I'd check out the cabana prices when I got to the GF! We don't rent the cabanas so not much to say about them..

LOL...or you could probably find out thru IPO but I will email. *sorry* That is sweet of you thinking of me and my gingerbread. I probably have that recipe buried with a bunch of GF stuff & info. I have a really REALLY good one though that I love & works well for the house building.

It seems strange....I think this day last year Lucy, Jojo and I flew out...or..checked into the Grand...I know we spent the first night at the Dolphin and the girls gasped that they'd be sharing a double bed. So I shared with JOJO! omg...the stuff moms do......And then we hightailed it over to the Grand in the morning to check into room 4301. It was on the end....but with a great corner view of the monorail zipping by....and the castle. That was the freaky stalker trip though... But it's so clear...I remember it like it was yesterday. The year has flown by.

Morning Gals


Well.....it's 5:40 a.m. and I'm sitting here looking at about SEVEN INCHES of SNOW on the ground . I got up at 5:00 thinking I'd see a dusting if anything.......but I sure got a surprise when I looked outside and saw a winter wonderland . Of course DH and DS are THRILLED about this .....me not so much . It is pretty......but I'm just not ready for it . I just got a call from the school with a recording that there is a 2 hour delay this morning . We get those sometimes out here when the fog gets bad.....so I guess they're playing it by ear as far as the snow......but I KNOW they weren't ready for this . DSs may be looking at a day off . DH wasn't prepared for this either as him and DS are in the garage right now hooking up the snowplow to DH's truck along with getting the snowblower put on the tractor . And according to the news we're not done yet . They said the snow machine will start back up tomorrow into Thursday which could accumulate another 4-5 inches . I guess 80/94 and the Indiana tollroad are pretty bad as far as ice.......and as you get closer to Michigan is when you hit snow . The sad thing is that this is only the beginning .

Have I mentioned that I hate winter We have snow flurries this morning but nothing more....
