Well.....it's 5:40 a.m. and I'm sitting here looking at about SEVEN INCHES of SNOW on the ground

NO...NO....NOOOOOOOOO!!! I hope it fizzles out and doesn't come my way! That would also mean my DH is right....He said last week that in 2 weeks it would be snowing!!! I am not ready...Really, I am not! Okay enough whining...

So I want to add an extra day to my vacation and I can get a good flight price on the next day but DH is using a free ticket and he cant get on the same flight home.... Oh yeah I said no more whining....sorry!

Going to Target or Wal Mart today! I know you are shocked, Kel!

Ohhhh..he does anyone know if Sharpay and Ryan from HSM do a version of that "Workin' at the Car Wash" song?? My DD is doing a really CUTE Acro routine to it and I want to get it on my ipod??? Anybody....Chan? I think it is them because it sounds like Ryan in the beginning of the song saying something about Sharpay??? Thanks!

I am right there with you Siobhan........I HATE winter and I'm NOT ready for all this snow . DS keeps saying they're going to call school as he's ready to take off on that snowmobile of his . DH isn't helping the situation any because he acts more like a kid than DS does.......thinking of any reason not to go to work when it's snowing . But the weird thing is that only about 7 miles west of us there's nothing.....maybe a dusting if that . But I guess the lines have to cut off somewhere . It's just too weird that a town so close has nothing and we're shoveling out .


BlueSKies.......That IS alot of snow to start off the season . I'm with ya on thinking about June and relaxing in my cabana at the GF . June actually isn't that far away and that may be the only thing that gets me through this winter .

Siobhan! hey!! Well....I'd have to ask Lucy or Jojo....they might know.....ok..Jo is clueless....I tried to sing it for her and she was confused. Lucy will know. Bummer about the flight.

I hate winter.

Deb...I saw Portage IN on teh news...OMG..OMG OMG...WICKED NASTY. That is terrible!! It's too early for that garbage. But you guys are right there south of Lake MI and you're gonna be hit like that often I bet. We are almost to WI and don't get that lake effect snow. Just cold brittle winter snow. Not as often as you guys. I bet the schools weren't totally prepared for taht this early. Do you usually have a lot of snow days? We hardly do...last year maybe we had 2 or 3. Crossing my fingers HARD that this is just a little tease and we have a mild winter. I don't even mind the cold as much as the snow and ice....but wind chills were in the single digits this am....but I'd take that over all the snow you guys got dumped with.

I used to love winter...I mean LOVE IT! Not sure what happened.

Mandy! OMG...sorry about that DH. I hope you & the kids don't get it. Hey! You are pretty close with that guess. That's my life!! Boring Chores.

LOL! More peeps added me as a friend on Facebook! I thought I had a lot of friends but then saw Denise has like 130!!! (OK..so then who's a loser? ) That thing is crazy. I posted more pics. It's not that much of a pita as I originally thought...but still...one more thing.

Hi All


OMG....What a morning . I Got DS on the bus at 8:40 and DH stuck around so he could drop high school DS off then head to work . It is 9:30 and I'm only on my FIRST cup of coffee . DH just called and said the roads are terrible and people everywhere are in ditches and off to the side of the road . Definitely NOT what everybody expected for today . But one good thing came out of the morning......while I was waiting for the bus to come I started searching for answers as to why I couldn't pull up recent posts . Lo and behold I had to clear out my cookies . I told you gals I was computer challenged . At first I was like "HUH???"......then I went through the steps to clear them and all of sudden I can get to the last post now . Funny how the little things make my day .


Chan ~ We don't usually have a lot of snow days......maybe 1 or 2....but that's enough for me because they always have to be made up which stinks big time . What we might have if the weather is crappy like today is a 2 hour delay....which isn't bad because they still get to school and don't have any time to make up . I keep looking outside and still can't believe we got dumped on and have 7 inches of snow on the ground .


Mandy ~ I'm sorry your DH is sick . I hope he feels better soon and nobody else gets it . Good guess on the BTTBC......I would have never thought of that .

Wow! Talk about nice dissers I just have to share this....I had posted on the theme park boards after we returned last month about trying to find a CD with the Boo TO You parade song. Anyway, one of the poster pm'd me and offered to send me a copy of it. When I received the package she also sent Epcot, Spectro and Wishes music. When I offered (on several occasions) to pay her or atleast reimburse for shipping, she wouldn't accept. She did it just to be nice Warms my heart That's all my kids will listen to right now. I think we are the only family listening to Halloween music before Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Don't the "tents" .....I mean cabanas.....sound fun??? I can't wait to do that in June.......I may even rent it 2 or 3 times ......I just think that would be a great way to spend a few hours .


I'm not sure how many days until spring but I hope not too many since I'm looking at several inches of snow right now .

Amy - is EXACTLY how I felt at 5:00 this morning when I saw the snow . I just noticed your ticker that your wedding and Disney trip are just 2 months away......HOW EXCITING . So many trips coming up.....how very exciting for everyone getting ready to leave .


Chan - Being goofs is what helps us keep our sanity . DS can't wait to see the Grand 1 pics . You will have to tell me all about the Grand 1 and renting it because I'm thinking of doing that in June as a surprise for DH, DS, my brother, and my parents when we're all down there together . I just love doing surprises . I did tell DS13 yesterday that I was thinking about it but he's very good at keeping secrets.....so I know I can trust him .

I hope Lucy is feeling better . This nasty weather is going to make everybody sick . DH and DS started in last night about how they felt a cold/cough coming on as soon as they heard that snow was on the way . Boys and their toys .

Here ya go Deb....now..these are not great pics!!! I just asked this nice guy if I could take the pics and he let me...but I had two squirrely kids with me and I was like DON"T TOUCH ANYTHING!!!!! All the wood was so polished and shiny...and I know Jojo was dying to just climb into those beds and lie down....so I was trying to hurry and take some pics out of one eye with my other eyes on my kids.....LOL..so the easiest thing was to get them in the pics. I should have just left them on the dock.

OMG...LOL..I just got somebody that added me as a Facebook friend that I don't know...well I think I don't. Have to see if maybe I do.... This FB thing is starting to grow on me. Kind of mysterious.

THe most important thing to Jojo....

AND...then....during the same trip...which makes me sad because it was this time last year...and I am HERE!!!

Mare....if you're here.....I heard back about the resort to resort delivery! OK..here's the deal. They will do it...but it's rarely asked for, and because it's rare they cannot guarantee WHEN it will get to the BWI. They say 2 days but can't guarantee it.
