I took down my xmas lights from the attic this morning and the tree that disney left in my room at the YC last year. I am gonna start setting some stuff up.

Morning All

Too many early birds on a Saturday morning . DH left at 3:00 this a.m. to go hunting . I don't mind being the first one up during the week to get DH off to work and DSs off to school.........but I draw the line when DH chooses to get up at an insane hour to go sit in a field and wait for ducks .


Kelly - Not only are you up so early on a Saturday morning......but you've already been out shopping . And have already done laundry . Have fun at the last football game .


Sheli - What a beautiful bed for your DD .


BlueSKies - I told DH I have to go to work just to afford car insurance for DS . I got a quote (just for the fun of it ) about 6 months ago to see what I'd be in for..........without any discounts (good grades, etc)........it could be as high as $1100/every 6 months !!!! So needless to say I'm freaking out just a tad .


Chan - YOU MADE IT .......WOO HOO . Boy what a night for you, huh??? But it is over and like you said........it's worth it for your girls . That's how I always think of things like that.....if it makes my boys happy, that's all that matters . They're only kids for a short time so we have to take advantage of it while we can .

V...Zack did that in about 6th grade...he was so funny....it was a last minute throw together...but he always comes up with the craziest stuff and wins the costume contests.....

Kelly ~ Your boys are so cute . I can't believe you're getting Christmas lights out already . I guess I just have to keep telling myself that it is November 1st and Christmas is right around the corner whether I like it or not . Have fun decorating today .

If Santa is thinking about giving it to Anty he better be quick on the draw....I bet it's gonna be a hit like that big Butterscotch Pony was. It is very cool. That looks like an awesome gift for a little boy.

I just put out my Halloween stuff.....I can't think Xmas yet ...plus there are beautiful gold and red leaves on the trees....i don't think xmas until the leaves are down...the trees are brown...the grass is brown....For now it's scarecrows and pumpkins and that stuff....

When I went to Target yesterday I noticed the Christmas Kleenex and paper towels and all....and they were clearing out Halloween to make room for the Xmas stuff......It's exciting but it doesn't feel right yet.

Do any of you guys have the Rosie Christmas Cd? I LOVE the song she does with the Dixie CHicks. That CD has some of my favorites on it!! But I love any Xmas CD....I have tons.

. It's bad enough Target had Christmas decorations out at the end of September......but trees decorated with lights on in the lobby already ????? Christmas is going to sneak up on me faster than I think .

Christmas is my favorite time of year.......but it has creeped up way too soon . I have one of those calendars with the tiles and different figurines for each month (a Mickey one, of course ) and I remember thinking how long it would be before I had to put the September one up there for school ......and now that's long gone . It seems like I JUST changed it for Oct/Halloween.....and now we're already into November .

Channing I cant function in the morning with out a big old cup of coffee-preferable Dunkin' Donuts just love my coffee could drink it all day long....maybe add a few cookies..some cake...

I have alot of Xmas CDs too my favorite is an Elvis one...so nice..

We usually try to put up the tree and decorate the Saturday after Thanksgiving too....but I think this year we're going to try and get it all done the Saturday before Thanksgiving . Last year we did everything too late when it was already into December .......and it seemed like so much work for such a short time of enjoying it . So I told DH that this year we're going to do it a little earlier and it enjoy it a little longer .

I LOVE "Everybody Loves Raymond"......that is one of my favorite shows . And Marie is HILARIOUS . That show gets you rolling from the beginning .
