Hey all - We just got back from HSM3 and we all really liked it! The girls said it was their favorite one!

It can be a little corny, but it's nice to take kids to a movie where you don't have to worry about cursing, gross things or people making out every two seconds......

Wow, you gals are on the ball. I am nowhere near ready to decorate for X-mas...but then I have been known to throw the tree up on the 15th and not do anything else. I love beautifuly decorated holiday houses, but I am just not the decorator.

I have started shopping though. I have the 2 older boys DONE! All I need for them is stuffers and then they are 100% done!!!

The younger 2 are a different story...I have almost nothing for them yet! 1 talking Elmo and a Barbie doll...that's it! I have no idea what to get them. They already have too much crap and they don't NEED anything. GRRR!

This would be a lot easier if they weren't spoiled rotten! When the oldest 2 were babies we were broke, they were thrilled with small stuff at x-mas, because they didn't have much. My youngest 2 have everything, it is awful hard to find anything new and exciting for them. (not really complaining, just frustrated with the search for the "great amazing gift idea!"

Good Evening everyone!
Cute night last night! Glad it is over!
Well I had the same morning that I have had for the last 3! Yup...:laundy: DSs blankets have never been washed sooo much! What am I going to do??? :confused3 I think he has post nasal drip that is making him cough? So today I started him on allergy medicine and then I will give him a cough strip before bed. Please pray that it works because I can't take it any more!!!:dance3: I use this smilie because it reminds me of going looney x3! :rotfl:

Busy day...DD started her art classes and then had a birthday party. Cut art class! THey are decorating the set for a play in our area! DD is in heaven! :cloud9: Wait til she sees her name in the program! :goodvibes

I would say I am a good 75-80% done my shopping! I say this every year and then Black Friday comes and with all the deals, I buy more...that they dont need! Shel isnt DD going to need bedding for her new bed? Hype that up and give her magazines and have her pick the one she wants and give that to her for Christmas...That way it is killing 2 birds! Well it is not toys but if you play into it she might go for it!
I am getting off easy this year with DD...She wants Easy Bake oven! :rotfl: I did get her that great deal on AG Mia but only because it was such a good deal! Sorry you missed it Chan! DS is getting the monorail from WDW this year. I actually picked it up last year but I thought he was still a little too young...Actually I still think he is too young so it might get put off another year! :confused3 I saw those great remote control cars on J&K+8 (by the way I have no idea what the big thing is on that show). Those looked cool so I think I might pick one of those up??? :confused3

Going to brunch in the AM! Looking forward to it! Then maybe I will start my "life style change", not diet, on Monday! :rolleyes1

Shelli You really are ahead of the game with your Christmas shopping...:thumbsup2 I have a little bit done for each kid...but I'm getting there...the worst part is sometimes I forget what I've already gotten and put away and when I'm wrapping I think Uh Oh bought too much stuff!!! And I vosw not to do the same thing next year...

Siobhan Sorry to hear that your DS is still sick...poor guy:sad2: poor mommy having to do all that clean up...the allergy meds are definitely worth a try...good luck:)

Kel I'm voting!!

Goin to watch a movie with DH maybe he'll let me choose this one...

Have a good night all:flower3:

Evening Gals :)

OK.....all you gals and your Christmas shopping.....especially Siobhan being 75-80% done and Sheli having 2 of hers done.....STOP IT :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:!!! I've just begun THINKING about ordering a few things for my FIL....but haven't actually done it and some of you are ALMOST DONE :scared1: :scared1:. You gals are really scaring me :lmao: :lmao:.

Siobhan.....sorry DS is still sick . Good luck with the allergy meds.....hopefully that will do the trick :thumbsup2.

Hey.....wonder if Traci is back :confused3? I'm anxious to hear how her trip was :rolleyes1. I'm sure she had a FABULOUS time :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2.

Deb :)

Just had to check in and let you all know we had a FANTASTIC vacation!! MNSSHP was so much fun! The GF was amazing! We had a beautiful lagoon view from Conch. My son LOVED watching the monorail. I swear it was so quiet that the first night I was turning on the ceiling fan trying to create some whitenoise because it was sooo quiet (that's a good thing, I know) but I kept laying there thinking, Man it's quiet in here. The fan was even quiet :) It was like that all week. So peaceful. We can't complain of anything. Seriously nothing. Housekeeping was perfect. I never once had to call and request towels or anything. I did ask for 4 additional pillows our first night and those, plus bedrails for the kids, were delivered in minutes.

Halloween night the parks closed early and we didn't want to do MNSSHP...we had done it Tuesday...plus we figured there would be crazy crowds...anyway, the GF was hosting Trick-or-Treating so we decided to hang around the hotel. It was so fun. Mickey and Minnie showed up and the kids got to hang with them at the beach Halloween party. The GF does it right. Mickey and Minnie. Wow. In costume. It was such a neat surprise!

I will post pics in a couple of days - we just got home and I have already started the laundry. I already want to go back. Now it's back to real world. I need to book another trip so I can start a new countdown!

Oh, and I got to meet Channing when we arrived. Can I just say this woman has the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. So polite and so pretty. Chan, you are adorable too...I can see where they get it :)

I'll catch up more later :) For all of you counting down! Enjoy the anticipation! That is part of the fun too!! :yay:

Hey, Traci :wave2:.....WELCOME BACK!!!!!! I'm glad you had a great time....I knew you would ::yes::. I can't wait to hear all about it and see your pics :yay:. I think it's neat that you and Chan got to meet each other :goodvibes. Glad you enjoyed MNSSHP :). Don't feel bad about wanting to go back already......I always want to go back before I've even left to come home :rotfl: :rotfl:. That just means it's time to start planning the next trip . Glad everything went well and you and your family are home safe :). Have a good night.....TTYL ;).

Deb :cutie:

Good Morning everyone. 138 days til spring. It was only 29 degrees when I got up this morning. brrrrrrrrrr. Did I ever mention that I hate winter.:rotfl:

Kelly Your kids are so cute. Love the costumes. Did you tell santa about the dino yet? It is never too early to get your list in.:santa:

vbarry How was your party? Hope your IL's go with you for Christmas. I know what you mean about not wanting to leave them, but if you have to don't feel guilty about it.:goodvibes

Traci Welcome home. Glad you had a great trip. Can't wait for the pics. That was awesome that you got to meet Chan. Stop doing:laundy: and tell us more.

Good Morning!! Well it seems my medicine worked!!! A clean bed this am!!!! Now maybe I can get back to me regular laundry! :rotfl:
I am glad because I dont know if I could have handled it this morning! It is my person least favorite day of the year! Sun set this evening is 4:36 pm :scared1: Can I say :scared1: again! Really, I hate it! It's a strong word but I really mean it! It is getting better as my kids get older but can you imagine having your first child and then coming home from the hospital and DH goes to work on second shift and low and behold it is dark at 4:30??? :sad2: It was not good. I called him crying every night to come home because I was alone and it was terrible! Well now she is 7 and this is the first year DH will be home at night so I am hoping for better days!

Traci! Welcome back! Glad you had a good time! IKWYM about the white noise thing. I packed a sound machine a few times but it was taking up too much room so I had to settle on the fan in the bathroom with the door closed! Glad you had a nice time!

Off to get ready for brunch! ttyl!

Siobhan- Did you decide to go at Xmas? Did I miss that??

Traci- Glad to see you back and I cannot wait to see your pictures. We are flying out of St. Louis for the first time in a long while and I was just looking at their parking situation. Where do you guys normally park? Thanks for any info.

The party was good. I was exhausted. My oldest dd did not even go. She had a sleep over the night before and she was completed worn out. Evie looked very cute. They had a very good turn out and a lot of cute costumes. They did give awards and then gave anyone who did not dress up a costume. It was totally hilarious! I was home early. Just not the same when dh does not get to go along. He has already left this morning. I cannot wait for harvest to be over with. He is in much need of this vacation.

I do hope my inlaws go but they will not make up their mind until the very last minute. It is going to depend on how my FIL feels at the time. They will not fly so they have a very long drive. My SIL will drive them down and they will not arrive until the 26th and will stay off site in a condo with her. I am very excited about getting to spend Christmas with just dh and the girls but worry it may feel a little wierd. I have been in charge of hosting the big family gathering on Christmas Day over the last few years and it totally wears me out. I love Christmas but the few days before are always CRAZY so this year it will be nice to just relax.

My Xmas shopping is about done. The girls have suitcases full of new clothes, Mia doll for each, the American Girl Xmas outift and they both got an American Girl Doll bed that Santa will leave at home instead of shipping to the GF. I have all the teacher's gifts bought and now I just need to shop for my nieces.

If my inlaws end up going we are getting them their park tickets...EASY!

Sorry for the book I just wrote. Have a great day!:santa:

I know what you mean about the time change. I love it today because I get an extra hour before church but tonight it is going to be soo dark soo early! It stinks!

Good Morning Gals :flower3:

Maxie ~ I look forward to your spring reminder every few days :). The weather has been very nice the last couple days but I know the COLD is fast approaching :cold:. But knowing there's only 138 days until spring helps :goodvibes.

Siobhan ~ That's great that the allergy meds worked :thumbsup2. I know what you mean about it getting dark so early :sad2:. It is very depressing when DH gets home from work at 4:00 and it's already starting to get dark :headache:. It makes for some LONG days!!!!! When I think it's time for bed I look at the clock and it's only like 7:00 :scared1:........I'm an early bird to bed, but not THAT early :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:.

V ~ Glad you had a good time at the party :). You are going to have a great time on your trip :wizard:. Don't work yourself up about your inlaws possibly not going......think positive ;). But don't feel guilty if they end up not going :rolleyes1.

Do any of you gals know when AP rates come out are they released for the whole year or just a few months at a time :confused3? Also.......if I don't have an AP but plan on getting one upon our arrival in July, can I still book the AP rate now (if there is one for our trip) and just purchase the AP before check in since I'll have to show it in order to get the rate? Kristin.....is this what you are doing for your December trip :confused3? I could be confusing it with something else but I thought you mentioned a while back that your TA booked your December trip that way with the DlxDDP .

Thanks gals :goodvibes.

Deb :flower3:

Sorry if these are too big - in the midle of laundry....my OCD wont let me rest until it's done. Haven't had time to really go through, but here are a few. I tried to quickly locate ones with the Grand Floridian in them. Sorry about the kids...I know what you all really want to see..the GF!!!
