there are quite a few of those codes going around they arent bad...

I have been doing files all morning and now I am going to fold laundry and start a new load

I have to go buy candy tonight for Halloween as I have been putting it off

Kristin......Siobhan is right.....get as much wrapping done as you can before you leave :thumbsup2. When we went to Disney in December 2003, we came home about a week before Christmas and that week went by SO FAST and Christmas was upon me in no time . I just realized that we would have overlapped a day if we had kept our trip for this December.....we were booked to arrive 12/13 and you're leaving the 14th :rolleyes1.

Siobhan......WTG on the airfare savings :cool1: :cool1:. I hope you keep your trip for this year......I love Disney in December :santa:.

I better get moving and get something done today.....especially if I'm going out to lunch later :rotfl: :rotfl:. TTFN :).

Deb :yay:

Kelly I have to go and buy halloween candy too...if I buy it ahead of time gues who ends up eating it...:rotfl: so to avoid the temptation I wait...;)

We tend to sell out early around here :confused3 I have had it for a couple of weeks, but hidden safely away in a closet! It has taken every ounce of will power I have with this low carb thing not to go in and DEMOLISH the entire bag of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups!! :rotfl:

ETA: I forgot to mention before, "Thanks Chan!!" about the French place. The french menu is what tilted us away from Italy to Chefs! We are REALLY looking forward to trying it!

Kristin The magic word... Will Power!!! The candy would just be calling me if it were here in the house...we're ok though many supermarkets around...plenty of candy around...I'd try to buy things that I dont like for good measure BUT I like everything :rotfl: mmmm peanut butter cups...

Yikes - Halloween candy! I have to hide it from myself. I can really do that now that I'm older and can't remember anything.....

Dawn!! I was wondering about Windy Thunder Flurries on the flip side!!
I'm glad sassyfras is back!!

BlueSkies - Glad you got a CR room! Even if its not GF - mabye something will open up. We'll be there that first week too! Are you going with your DNiece again? Here Comes the sun - right? Haven't seen her around - does she not post much anymore?

Siobhan - You will have a great time at SOG!:) Thats great about the airline credit! Hope your little guy feels better. Neither of mine can eat a lot of candy - too bad I can't say the same about myself.....

I buy what DH and the boys like (that I don't ) so I won't be tempted to eat it :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Princesses.......I hide Milky Ways from DS all the time because he is such a candy freak.......and I often find myself saying "I KNOW I put that candy up here!!!!" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:. Then I start tearing apart all my kitchen cabinets to find it because I can't remember just where it was I finally put it :lmao: :lmao:.

Princesses Thanks! Dniece(here comes the sun-you're right:) ) is not going on this trip:sad2: Not a good time for her to get away...She's had major computer problems and is working on getting an new one... I'm happy about the CR too...but I'm not giving up on the GF:)

If I hid our halloween candy there would be no finding it either:rotfl: I'd be wondering where'd I put or did I just eat it...

Today is turning our to be my laundy and DIS day...:surfweb: much better than just a laundry day thats for sure...

Hey Halloween girls!:cool2:

I am not touching it......I have will power. :thumbsup2

Everybody in this neighborhood gives full size bars....I had DH buy Twix and Reeses because I have will power for those.:goodvibes Snickers...or Baby Ruth would be another matter.:rolleyes1 (maybe)

I will be so happy when Halloween is over!!!:upsidedow

Kristin,
I think you'll be happy with Chef de du whatever France....:thumbsup2 Good choice.

Ciao for now! See ya all later,
Chan:)

Kristin I just noticed above your ticker that you'll be celebrating your birthday during this trip... I think that you and I and Princesses will all be there around the same time!(except you'll both be at the GF..and for a longer trip-Im a little jealous-OK:) )...sure hope that it is warm....I have learned my lesson with December...definitely have to pack for 2 seasons...the one time I let DH talked me out of packing so much stuff...cold front...:scared1: the upside to that was got to do some more Disney shopping...:rotfl:

Baby Ruth bars wouldnt stand a chance of gettig to the trick or treaters!! Snickers either...:rotfl:

Off to fold another load of laundry....have I mentioned lately how I feel about the laundry...:headache:

TTYL:flower3:

My birthday is actually the week before, but this counts as a present!

One of the main reasons we are flying SW is so I can bring the 2 sutcases per person that is needed to bring clothes for both seasons. In 2006, I checked the forecast before leaving and it said chilly nights. Well that changed DRAMATICALLY once we arrived and I went home with at least one suitcase filled with unused warm clothes :sad2: Oh well, better safe than sorry!

What a nice present!! The two suitcases are a great idea...I'm of the better safe than sorry school of thought too... also didnt know SW has a 2 suitcase policy-another reason to fly with them:thumbsup2 ..Lets hope for lots of sunshine and temps in the low 80's..what do you think:) (wouldnt want it to be hot and humid like in during our summer trip...OMG...)

I am good with sunny and 78!! It will probably be 20 degrees here so ANYTHING will be better!

Are you from Chicago too?? Which airport do you fly from? We are doing Midway for the first time...

Afternoon Gals :)

BlueSkies.....I did 2 loads of laundry and STILL went out to lunch with my brother :thumbsup2. But not much else got done today.....so looks like I'm in for some work tomorrow :rotfl: :rotfl:. It is an absolutely gorgeous day today :sunny:....it's about 63 degrees and supposed to be even nicer tomorrow :cool1: :cool1:.

Kristin.......We've flown out of Midway before (although most of the time it's O'Hare) but we had our first SWA flight this past March ;). I've always stayed away from them because I don't care for the way they do their boarding and you can't choose your seats :sad2:.....but they were ok for our first flight........plus they were way cheaper than everybody else when we flew over spring break/Easter :goodvibes. SWA is really the way to go now-a-days with all the luggage restrictions and fees :rolleyes1.....you can't beat that they allow TWO free of charge :thumbsup2......when some others don't even allow ONE free . How many days are you down to now :confused3????? It'll be here before you know it :dance3:. Hopefully the weather will be great :wizard:. But like you said.....anything will be better than what it will be here .

Anyone heard from Traci :confused3??? I hope they are having a great trip :yay:.

Deb :cool2:
