Friday marks the half-way point of the chemo treatments -- 2 rounds down, 2 to go. After this treatment, the doctor wants her to get more MRI's done so that he can see how much progress they've made on the masses up to this point.
So far, it's gone pretty well. The last treatment has been the best so far -- minimal fatigue, no nausea and few other side effects. The treatment before that, on the other hand, was miserable.
Nicole had enough energy to enjoy a day away for her birthday last week (we went to Great Bear Lodge), so that was nice.
Her hair is mostly gone -- she has a little left and is starting to get a few bald spots in the back of what hair she has left, so for the most part, she's resigned herself to wearing her wig, although, since she has some hair remaining, she still can wear some hats (which, IMO, she looks cute in -- I'll post a pic with this thread
).
Thanks again for the continued thoughts and prayers. I'll try to remember to post an update when we get the MRI's done as to how much progress has been made with the chemo.
